I'm probably going to be there as I missed the top 16 in Seattle by a couple of battles!
Orly? I thought that they would just fill up all the spots of the missing players... aka 5-16th place that didn't show up.It's only 16 spaces no matter what though.
Wait, so what's going on? I'm confused. Is something changing about the LCQ or something?According to the rules posted on the FAQ page on the pokemonvgc website, yes. Maybe if enough people email asking about this, it might change. I will email just because I believe its worth a shot. Or maybe I should wait till after regionals to see if I have a spot. Less people would make it easier. Though I would rather do well by actually doing well then by getting byes. I will email now.
I thought that before I started making my team but it's actually a lot of fun. A lot of things that seem like gimmicks in singles can be viable in doubles with the clauses we usually use off.I guess I'll try to make it to this qualifier if my schedule allows. I'm still having trouble getting very excited about this terrible tournament format, though.
No, he is saying that the rules specifically say that only 16 spots will be given out at the LCQ. There will not be additional spots given out in the case of players who received invites from the regionals not showing up.Wait, so what's going on? I'm confused. Is something changing about the LCQ or something?
Hey, man, you don't need to tell me that different strategies can be viable in doubles. I love doubles. It's pretty much all I ever play. I even wrote a guide about doubles.I thought that before I started making my team but it's actually a lot of fun. A lot of things that seem like gimmicks in singles can be viable in doubles with the clauses we usually use off.
