I'm catching up but it can be sum up in the following:
- There have been many inactive users.
- I'm struggling to make scumreads and also strong townreads. Most of my reads are barely above or below the null line if moving at all.
- This makes me think mafia is hiding in low-middle activity users.
- The fact that there are a couple of universally townread players reinforces this thought.
 
they made more reads as the game progressed, but asking quesitons at a high volume is already towny bc as scum you're scared to interact and get caught in any way

do you disagree with how i analyze new players with high post counts?

i think jalmont is fine. OC is a lot different than NOC but he was paralyzed for the entirety of Yeti's game and I see no reason why he would try to progress this game when it was in a dead state, seems sub-optimal if he was scum

yeah i think asking questions is by far the easiest way for a new player to interact with a thread as mafia

the hardest is statements because you have to stand over it once you make it

for AG, I dont see how hypoclaiming helps town. the cop is attached to a doctor, its easy to tell which targets are fake and which aren't. but i also think his push on me is bad bc he's doing the thing where he just hops onto easy wagons without reasoning. kinda similar to the game where we were both scum with him and he'd just bus you

why, why, why, whats your thoughts, why, why? sure if youre asking super detailed questions like "hey realiti you voted dude on post 569 but you contradicted on post 722 so like whats up with that" THOSE type of questions are really towny but generic whats your reads without much follow up are really fakeable

i mean how people dealt with it was absolutely terrible ill agree with that but i could see ag suggest that as town is my thing

but am i confidaent in ag town - no i just thought this was his first showcase of doing something i could see him doing as town after a scummy d1

Not a fan currently, other than literally the last 12 hours or so, Tommy hasn't really felt like Tommy. I don't know what that means, and I don't think it necessarily indicates scumminess, but I'm much lower on this slot than I wish I was. I could see this improving, but I'm not currently reading his posts with the level of comfort that I would like to be. Most of his posting has been empty "skilled player tutoring" too rather than guiding gamestate forward (vs, say, Eli) which makes me wonder if that's a desired goal. Do you think Tommy reacted after people started suspecting inactives and decided to be more active? Apricity subbing in and reigniting the thread might have triggered this reaction as well.

And interesting, I think I agree with your take(but tbh, when most of the thread is inactive/lowposting that's not much of a bar to cross either.) Are you saying that Jalmont's activity has been mid level? Because I felt like what he's doing is similar to the reason you're tring hal right now,

We start with realiti thinking skipper is town, claiming m2h's read isn't strong enough "said a whole lot of nothing"

m2h considered skippers opening wolfy, i dont know exact reason, but im going to say that its because its posting just to post ("mobile sucks" exchange a bit before the linked m2h post).

pro (for realiti ftr): theyre not wrong about the m2h post being lukewarm
con: the skipper read has no buildup or logic, and leans more like shading m2h than sling them genuinely


There isn't an exact counterpart on m2h's end, the main thing that developed for them is posting uncertainty on pulsar, and asking others dont talk about them, maybe for some kind of reaction test idk

they agree on the pulsar thing, but realiti continues to push the 'not great posting angle'

pro/con same as above




I think this very obviously unpairs the two, to start with
I also think M2H is definitely townier here specifically for the t!neon angle being consistently pushed (though ive made more detailed thoughts on that earlier, tldr being i dont like how it was used to push people without much explanation on why the replacement is a better vote than neon)
I don;t get why realiti has this attitude toward m2h, like id be going "ugh i guess you were right" and all that, but the way realiti goes about it feels like they forgot they ever had an sr on m2h to begin with, like the niceness feels artificial. maybe im just a terrible human being to interact socially with

pro:i guess its at least a reason to change perspective on m2h

Everybody else I have as a small townlean or don't feel that strongly about. Will finish this list at a later time. The only exception is M2H, who's a capable player that I don't have much experience with, so I will think more about him instead of making a level 1 read.

in hindsight this was way too much effort for a read based on two exchanges but in my defense i literally hallucinated m2h in realitis townleans in the readslist and i have no idea how the fuck that happened

you dont even seem convinced by your own analysis and half of it was from the first ten pages. this is my first NOC game with m2h and i was disappiointed that he was doing little to progress the thread & not a fan of him asking everyone to stop reading pulsar for a Lv100 read (that never happened). D2, i misinterpreted something he said.

I mentioned that I wanted to re-read m2h. the post never got followup because i got busy IRL. I will respond to m2h's posts soon

Aura Guardian what about this case did you find compelling? Please let me know bc you seem to have bigger scumreads but claim that this convinced you to vote me
 
Duskfall98 I see that you have scumreads in ag/ne. How do you feel about ne's case on realiti, are the realiti/ne scumreads independent of each other, and how does that factor into your read on those two slots? ag has been so-so for me(a lot of his cases don't make sense) but I remember reading someone making a post that its NAI and he does it as both alignments. Thoughts?

I was p certain about the NE vote until the realiti case and now I'm not sure.

Lechen's pop-in was bad and his d1/d2 was bad, he is a good vote. AG is a good vote. After that, M2H (but im not sure who else scumreads him). Ok with DbD, ok with Zuko. Don't really want to vote Tommy today.
