Which is the best Damage calculator available and may i have the link to download it if it is possible?
Depends on what you want it to do to SOME extent, but this one is probably the "best":

http://ownpurpose.com/damage_calculator_test.php

It's the most user-friendly, most accurate damage calculator that I know of. You have to put in the actual stats of the Pokemon and the Base Power of the attack, though. Fortunately there's also a Stat Calculator to help determine the stats that you want to use.

Quickie simple breeding question:

To get the highest point of egg creation "They like each other very very much", (something like that), the Pokemon need to have different trainer IDs and be of the same species, right?

Cuz I'm trying to hatch some good Magikarp parents and the eggs are hatching faster than I can get them lol

Quick question, does Power Swap trade attack/sp.attack boosts with your opponent? I know it does something to that effect, but I need an exact answer.

Yes, but I don't think you really need to worry about that.

Anyone have a good idea for an EV spread on this?

(I dunno where to post this >.>)

What is a good Salamence counter?

I'm slowly getting the feeling there is none. I'm almost tempted to make a thread on how Salamence is the next Garchomp. But before I do, I just want to see if anyone can give me a good counter that I may have missed.

Hmm, scarftran with hp ice maybe? Or suicune with ice beam? Idk, salamence usually doesn't give me too much trouble. Atleast hes not on every single team like chomp was.

If you're not sure what salamence it is cresselia is usually a safe switch in. Packing a steel type is good for outrage but you should usually have one anyways.

Thankfully stealth rock, sandstorm, and possibly life orb wears it down.

Yanmega with HP Ice 70 =P

Cannot come in safely.

Cresselia Get's destroyed by Life Orb Outrage. Steel's get ruined by Fire Blast, they even don't like taking Life Orb Outrage.

If Stealth Rock and Sandstorm don't wear it down it's almost guranteed you'll lose one Pokemon trying to take Salamence down.

Earthquake and Brick Break ruin Heatran (if you come in on a bad prediction, even Outrage hurts). Suicine is probably best, but will still take about 80% from Life Orb Outrage just trying to counter it.

I think Salamence is going to reach Garchomp popularity once people figure out just how deadly it is/ how to use it properly.

Maybe this wasn't as simple of a question as I thought...

Perhaps you don't understand. If you have cress you switch it in to see what kind of salamence it is. If it uses dragon dance you can kill it with ice beam. If it uses outrage you still survive and now it's locked onto outrage, which then you go to your steel. If it's locked it can't use fire blast on your steel.

However, I usually kill salamences by just revenge killing it. After it's taken it's toll on passive damage, most reasonable attacks can take it out.

If you go through Salamence's entire move pool, you can always point out a possible spread someone to run to kill you. You can do that with a lot of pokemon. Fortunatly, it's only allowed 4 moves. Sure, you might lose out sometimes, but he can't counter every pokemon at every time always.

StrikeJP: There are dozens of Pokémon with no 100% counters. Tyranitar, Heracross, Porygon-Z, Togekiss, Gengar.... all of these Pokémon can mess up every one of their standard counters. Please please please don't make a thread comparing Salamence to Garchomp.

The textbook definition of "counter" is also pretty useless in competitive play. No Pokémon can run and attack with every attack in its movepool in the same turn.
