Once steels and ghosts are removed, Tauros's Return is nearly a 2HKO on almost everything. Steels can be covered by EQ and Ghosts with Pursuit, so his walling problems are not as huge as everyone guesses.
Anyone tried any dual screening with some of the floating pixies thrown to UU? Taunt leads are common at the moment, but if you place them well mid game for someone to sweep it could be interesting. I'm going to play test some screeners and see how it plays out.
cm raikou is just too much for uu. that's the only particular pokemon i see that needs to go.
- Raikou is quite strong, and if you don't guess correctly what set it's using, you have to sacrifice a member of your team.
- Spiritomb is a good check to a lot of things like Gallade, Medicham or Shaymin. It's strong, but we need it in UU to balance the metagame.
It would be interesting to see what happens if Spiritomb becomes OU again if that is the case....
Scarf Tauros actually is a great anti lead in the metagame...
with Intimidate and Return beating Ambipom
Zen Headbutt or Stone Edge beat Crobat
Zen Headbutt beating Roserade
Stone Edge or Pursuit beating Froslass
Stone Edge beating Abomasnow

Tauros (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 52 HP/252 Atk/204 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Return
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Zen Headbutt
beats Timid Scarf Roserade and Slower, and has great attacking power that can be saved later for revenge killing.
Ever considered Iron Head over either Stone Edge or Zen Headbutt? I would, mainly for a reliable way to hit Mismagius but also for Froslass. A 30% chance to prevent leads from getting any Spikes up can be very useful for certain teams. Can also work against random stuff like lead Solrock for what it's worth. It kinda fits in with the anti-lead theme.
I leading with a choiced Tauros didnt turn out so great for me, although it was CB. They just typically switched to their Steel
And lmao at sig XD
Meh, after playing a few matches, I still hate Spiritomb a lot. I think it should be one of the first to be banned. Even choiced users are at risk switching into it. I don't use any Steels since my team has no need other than for Spiritomb, but even the Careful Hitmontop will capitulate eventually.
About Spiritomb, I just use raw power to beat it. Choice Band Staraptor's Brave Bird really hurts it(well, it hurts almost everything really).
On another note, I have yet to see a spiritomb survive an LO Blaziken Overheat.
