Can I drop Protect on Vaporeon and use Aqua Ring? Also Aqua Ring for Milotic. It;s vesy easy to predict Protects and set-up, so it isn't really worth it...
You could, but I wouldn't recommend it. Aqua Ring only helps vs residual damage, and its targetted damage that's going to threaten bulky waters most of the time, unless they're forced to switch in and out constantly without recovering.
Protect on Vaporeon is because of Wish, if you don't have protect then it's pretty easy for a lot of threats to beat you, when Wish+Protect would have stopped them. If you want to run without Protect on Vaporeon, either run Surf/Ice Beam/HP Electric for better coverage, or two of those attacks + Toxic for stalling and building up damage more quickly
On Milotic I'd recommend neither Wish or Protect, but a third attack or a status move like on Protectless Vaporeon.

The mixed attacker Abomasnow has these EVs on the analysis: 252 HP, 84 Special Attack, 96 Special Defense, and 76 Speed. If I were to put the Speed EVs into one other stat instead, what should it be? A slow Abamasnow means its weather will be dominant anyway.

Anyone?

you might like the speed as is, since it helps to outrun swamperts, but I would also vote special attack if you're bent on changing it adman2

I asked about dragonite before, and I didn't really get a conclusive answer.

Is extremespeed dragonite legal in d/p/p? It's not mentioned anywhere on dratini's g/s/c movepool page. What happened to it?

No, it's not, Extremespeed was only available as a gift from the Dragon Den in Crystal, and since Crystal isn't compatible with any of the newer games, you can't legally get it.

What is the best way to EV train Lucario? I'm thinking that I use Vitamins to evolve Riolu and then using EV reducing berries, but does anyone have a better way?

I'm trying to come up with bulky Dragon Dance set for Lapras. In regards to EV's I remember reading a thread fairly recently about magic leftovers numbers for certain pokemon that are stealth rock weak or something like that. Could somebody point me in the direction of that thread? I couldn't find it. I will subsrcibe when I do find it.

For those curious the spread I'm testing out later today is 192 HP (449)/252 Att/12 Speed/54 SpD

Edit: Something about not throwing the last 4 evs into hp onto certain pokemon was the main point of the thread I believe

The Soothe Bell can help (breed something else, and just stick it on Riolu when you're hatching stuff), and if you have enough EV reducing berries, use those to increase friendship too.

EDIT: Oh, the HP magic numbers thread that Robinson is thinking of is probably http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53818

If I delete a move only learned by a pre-evolution, can I re-learn it through the Move Tutor(Re-learner)?

ie: If I want to temporarily teach my Honchkrow Fly, then delete it and re-learn Sucker Punch (only learned as Murkrow), would it work?

That wouldn't work, since the current Pokemon does not learn it.

However in the honchkrow example you at least have a Platinum tutor for that, lol

When I was EV training my Absol, I wanted max attack and max speed with the remaining points in HP. I found the route north of Sandgem Town to be very good for this because the only pokemon there were Shinx, which gave attack EVs, Starly, which gave speed EVs, and Bidoof, so I could do all my EV training there and end up with a spread of 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe.

My question is, is there a similar place I could go to to end up with a spread of 4 HP/252 SpAtk/252 Spe for my Gastly? In other words, is there a place where a pokemon that gives speed EVs (eg, Starly) and a pokemon that gives special attack EVs (eg, Gastly) can both be found frequently?

Well, Zubat and Gastly are both commonly found in the Lost Tower. There's a few random Duskull but those aren't common. No HP there, though, you'll have to find somewhere else to get those 4 EV's.

A GameFAQS guide on EV training said:
Location: Ravaged Path (Surfing)
Pokemon giving EVs in Special Attack: Psyduck (1), Golduck (2)
Pokemon giving EVs in Speed: Zubat (1), Golbat (2)
Levels: 20-40
Comment: Earliest one, and it's cool since those four are the only ones you'll
see when you surf. Zubat and Psyduck are also available on land.

Location: Lost Tower
Pokemon giving EVs in Special Attack: Gastly (1)
Pokemon giving EVs in Speed: Zubat (1)
Levels: 17-21
Comment: Very reliable because if it isn't nighttime, these two Pokemon are the
only ones you'll see.

Location: Route 212 North
Pokemon giving EVs in Special Attack: Roselia (2), Kirlia (2)
Pokemon giving EVs in Speed: Staravia (2), Smeargle* (1)
Levels: 21-26
Comment: Easier to access than the previous one, but you have to run away from
the hundreds of Marill =( . Smeargle's only available through Pokeradar.

Location: Route 229
Pokemon giving EVs in Special Attack: Roselia (2), Beautifly (3), Venomoth* (1)
Pokemon giving EVs in Speed: Volbeat (1), Illumise (1), Pidgey (1),
Venomoth* (1)
Levels: 47-50
Comment: The abundance of Roselia and the semi-abundant Volbeat + Illumise make
this a pretty good Special Sweeper spot. Venomoth give 1 EV in both stats, and is only available through the Pokeradar.

*for Platinum.

Lost Tower it is then. Thanks guys. As for HP EVs, well, Bidoof are so common on the first couple of routes anyway and I'd only need to find one.

This is a scenario that came up in another forum I planned to test, but am having trouble finding the time between work and upcoming finals, and was wondering if someone else knows.

Say a Kecleon and Mew are out in a doubles battle. Mew uses Skill Swap and is then hit with a Flying attack, making him a Flying type. If he uses Roost the next turn, what happens to his typing? Does nothing hit for for super-effective damage since he's technically typeless for the turn after using Roost?

Two questions:
1. If I breed a poketopia Electivire, will the offspring have Cross Chop and Ice Punch?
2. And what does a HP Fire Sceptile look like on "paper"?

1. It should.

2. I'm not sure what you mean by that question. ._. "On paper" means just theorizing and thinking about something, instead of testing and trying it out. Using that definition, it looks very good on paper, because it helps against Steels, Grasses, and Ices that give it trouble.
