Sorry to do this to you guys, but when I win Nashville, I won't tell you guys and I will claim to not be a smogoner. I am WTPT through-and-through.
no to both as I forgot to take pictures this year and was going to but got quite discouraged when most of us did not get picked.Expert Evan, were you the man with the Nintendo shirt? And your son was wearing a black hat?
WTPT?Sorry to do this to you guys, but when I win Nashville, I won't tell you guys and I will claim to not be a smogoner. I am WTPT through-and-through.
*sits patiently and waits for this guy to be either not selected or to lose horribly*when I win Nashville
WTPT is such a boring podcast...listen to PUCL, they're way funnier, and actually don't forget half of the pokemon's names that they're talking about. But yeah, Raistmagic's got Nashville.Sorry to do this to you guys, but when I win Nashville, I won't tell you guys and I will claim to not be a smogoner. I am WTPT through-and-through.

Bianca was quite cute. And I don't appreciate being called old, I'm only 20.
-_-;
I beat him too, I believe, before I played Bianca.
xD. By some old guy, I meant someone older than me and Bianca. And hey, if you want, sometime, could we battle? PM me for my Friend Code. Though, I'm going to make a new team - so not anytime soon.

Ok. I believe we are ALL together that the entry method to these tournaments is completely bogus.
Philly has to be a good testament to this. 600+ people, some driving more than 9 hours to attend, and sending 5/6th of the people away with nothing more than a shiny milotic.
Then people - LET'S DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Contact TPCi Directly! they have all their contact info here:

The correct E-Mail to use while contacting them is:
customerservice@go-pokemon.com
Let them know how upset you are about the method of entry. Be polite and calm in your e-mail.
Suggest your ideas on how to better the entry method. Maybe bring back the online test, first come - first served, or unlimited entry.
Remember - just one voice is just one voice, but a crowd of voices turns heads.
Did my part in the gig. advice to those responding to this mess is make sure you try to be polite. by being rude you destroy your credibility. keep it in mind when giving them your 2 cents. (just saying you know..)Originally Posted by Fat ultimatedra![]()

Today I drove 3 hours from Connecticut to the VGS tournament in Pennsylvania with my son and neither of us got selected to participate, and it turned out only 128 out of about 600 seniors that arrived could participate. We were both Top 16 participants in last year's regionals in New York and were looking forward to participating again. I also learned that not only did we not get in, but also last year's winner from New York, another top 4 contender from New York, and also a top 4 contender from JAA Philadelphia back in 2006. The Pennsylvania event was the lone regional host this year for those from Boston, New York, Philadelphia & Washington DC all of which also had regionals within the last 3 years, and I hope your organization will expand in future years to accomodate the overwhelming interest in these tournaments. A shiny milotic as our consolation did not really satisfy us enough just to spend gas just to get to a regional that we could not participate in. Thanks for listening and hope you can improve on accomodating all of us in the future. Perhaps have more regional events on the east coast or expand the limit to say 256 or 512 depending on whom shows up to them.
I emailed them. All I really said (In a big drawn out couple of paragraphs) we need more locations, more age groups, such as
12 & Under
13-17
18 & Up
I think that would be better, it would allow more participants and help filter out some of the competition.
And definitely no more of that random selection crap.
I agree, that would be very good. What about a petition? I'd sure sign it.
Im down for a petition
I'm the first to sign it!
