I wouldn't even be able to find my initial seed if I didn't have them entered in correctly to begin with.mm.... did you check your DS's time/date/minutes? They might be in the wrong place (if they matter)... >_<
Odds are, he wouldn't have been able to generate his initial seed if this were the problem. Riddlinkid, I suggest recollecting all info the hard way, just to eliminate sources of error. I'm predisposed to say user errors in situations like this.mm.... did you check your DS's time/date/minutes? They might be in the wrong place (if they matter)... >_<

riddlinkid @ I'm guessing you might've put your SID wrong, as SID determines shinyness..
I just tried using Wichu's program, but it's only giving me like 5 spreads when I searched for 20+/20+/20+/20+/20+/20+ ANY nature 0~2000 frames 596~704 delays.. (NON-shiny) What's up with that?
The 12.5% column is its gender if the species is 12.5% female
The 25% column is its gender if the species is 25% female
The 50% column is its gender if the species is 50% female
The 75% column is its gender if the species is 75% female
Refer to the column that matches the gender ratio for the Pokemon you are breeding.
ok, thanks. so for example elecid, 25% female and 75% male.
If there is standing 12.5M 25F 50F 75M I should look at the 25, not the 75, so it should become female. is that right?
That is an impossible result. It cannot be female at 50% and yet male at 75%.
In the case of Elekid, you should look at the 25% column so yes, that will be a female.
No. You can use rare candy'sdoes using rare candies to level up a pokemon in order to accurately check their IVs affect the RNG?
Two frames up? That's a problem. What I suggest is save and land on a new frame until you either land on the frame or land a multiple of two below the frame, and then proceed to use journal flips to advance to your desired point.Okay, quick question. I'm trying to get an HP 70 Grass for my Magnezone, and I've found a spread that works for that, but I just randomly changed the frames on the program, and now I see that I'm on a different frame than my target one. Is there any way to change it? This is for breeding, so I don't think poketaps/coin flips will, but it might help. PS: It's 2 frames up from where I'm at.
oddsok said:4. I have not released any roaming Pokémon (traded for Mesprit's dex entry :D). Does this mean that when I begin the game, my frame is set at 0, 1, or what? I plan on using Sweet Scent, and I see that using it in the grass advances the seed by 1... how do I account for this? I'm a bit confused about the differences between advancing the seed and advancing the frame.
Starts at zero. I'm still very confused about sweet scenting etc. at the moment and have my own queries, so I can't answer your other questions. Oh and where did you see that it advances it by one? Do you mean for the pokemon you just scented or the next one you scent/encounter, because if it's for the next it is +7.
If it worked the first time but not after that, it probably means you got your hour/time wrong... double check
k, I'll try.
edit: Okay what now... I checked. Date was fine, but it was 15 secs late. So I re-synched it. And it still didn't work.
You need to hit A at continue at precisely when the clock reaches 14 seconds (or whichever your usual load time is) on your DS. In that case, your time setting might be inconsistent. :x
