Good? The first set mimics ScarfSnow and the second combines Scarf with the old MixMence...also, Blizzard/TB/Shadow Ball and on SpecsLass? Ice Beam like ScarfGlaceon?

Glaceon's movepool is pathetic, but Shadow Ball/HPFight/ Blizzard allow it to get the coverage it needs. Ice Beam is for a reliable sweeping move, especially if Hail isn't active.

Froslass on the other hand, also gets superb coverage, and Trick totally screws up so many pokemon.
 
how do you get hp fire? im trying to breed an hp fire special sweeping lanturn and the ivs on the article do not work. i got hidden power bug and hidden power rock. help me

The damage sucks and the opponent could just switch out to counteract the speed drop.

No way, that would reduce Froslass's offense too much. Stick to special.
 
I actually use sassy lol. And have Umbreon pass some curses to it.

I would use adamant though for a general purpose Gallade. Jolly isn't really worth it because of how much stuff outspeeds it anyway.
 
Does anyone else have the problem of when they put a pokemon in pc in Platinum, save and turn off, and the pokemon is gone when you reload the game?
 
Is Ice Beam also usable in a smiliar way to Scarf Glaceon's extra slot? I was never very fond of Trick, and Psychic is sort of meh cosidering it's abysmal coverage and beeing only as power as a neutral Blizzard when SE. Iv'e seen SpecsMilo that run both Hydro Pump and Surf...
 
This might be a noob question, but how long does pokerus last on an active pokemon?

Between 1-2 days...it varies. After that the effect remains in place but it's no longer contagious.

what should the last move be? im considering either bullet punch or fake out. im leaning towards bullet punch for ability bonus, and its a priority move. OR, should i just take up ice punch instead?
 
Does anyone here know what the odds are of Arti/Molt/Zap being shiny in platinum are. I already know its pretty much(if not entirely) impossible for all 3 to be shiny, but i'm only after one.

Would it be 3/8192, as all 3 RNG calls are made at the same time(one after the other), like when chaining, your odds are 4/200(1/50) for every reset, thats because 4 RNG calls are made, right?

Or are the odds still 1/8192.
 
I think the odds are still 1/8192, because doesn't the shiny claculation take place when you first see the pokemon? And if you mean mathematically, I don't think that's how the odds would work either.

Second opinion?
