Oh dear god no. Don't give them any ideas.A question: Will there be a R/S/E Remake after the next generation?
It seems likely that they won't have Pal Park. With the new Nintendo DSi, and now that we can safely say every one of the 493 Pokemon are available in 4th gen, I don't see a reason why they would put Pal Park in.There's no guarantee HGSS will even have Pal Park, is there?

If pokemon survives a 5th generation
The forumula may be getting old for us, but you are forgetting about the fact that they constantly attract new/younger players. These players do not view the formula as stale, because they haven't ever played it before.
Pokemon will survive much longer than 5 generations. It can literally go on forever as long as they keep on attracting new kids.
I think it will sell more then Platinum actually. Especially with all the youngons wanting a Wailord following them everywhere :P.
Pokémon will continue as long as Nintendo and Mario do, pretty much. I can see that happening for an extremely long time. And with the pre-release screens of HG/SS, things look to be getting better and better.
Count me in! >_>
Worse and worse for me. Visiting new areas is old. Battle frontier is old. Move Tutor is olds. The alternate forms released til now can't be used on WiFi. It won't attract competitive players as much as Platinum, specially when you can ask a friend to teach that move tutor move for you (if any).
PokeWalker and following pokemon sounds interesting, but they're pretty insignificant if you're looking for a RPG-game. Either you buy it for nostalgia, or you're most likely to be a kid.
Also, from the next generation on, alt forms won't be far as interesting.
Pokemon is getting old, the new versions seems to confirm it. For me, at least.
Or you buy it because it had what most people think the best in-game story of all pokemon games, and quite a bit of longevity(16 badges, Red, etc). On top of that, the 3 beasts(with good IVs/natures), Ho-oh, Lugia, and most likely Wifi Celebi. Oh yeah, Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza, for those people who didn't buy RSE. So yeah, there are quite a few more reasons than what you are thinking of.
No offense, but I don't think Game Freak and Nintendo care what you think. As long as the kiddies will buy, they will keep making the games. Unless of course one day they decide that they don't like money anymore, they have absolutely no reason to discontinue Pokemon. This is how most companies work btw.Count me in! >_>

Basically, what your'e saying is "I don't think they will make anymore Pokemon games because I think they won't."
lol
Nah, I'm just pointing the game's losing power to attract old players.

I don't know what leads you to think that because remaking Gold and Silver is probably the absolute best thing Nintendo could have done to attract the old players - nearly all the casual Pokemon players I know swear blind that GSC were the best Pokemon games and they were very interested to hear that there'd be a remake.
Perhaps you're just getting a bit fed up with the same old engine, gabriel, but to the majority of us that's what we grew up on and we wouldn't have it any other way.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Hoenn starters were given as a reward for completing your Pokedex (like the Johto starters in Emerald). And it would be kinda weird for Latias and Latios to be the only unobtainable Pokemon so I'm sure they'll throw them in somewhere.Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Latios, Latias.
Then again, these could be included in HGSS, or atleast I hope so.
A couple of things. First, I haven't heard of any DSi-exclusive features like you claim there are.I honestly don't think there will be a pal park.
Reasons:
DP Migrate INFO:
Kanto
Hoenn
Distant Land
Johto will be the location if traded from HGSS to D/P/Pt, I know this for a fact, since none of Johto hatch locations will be the same as D/P/Pt except for maybe Mt. Coronet, but this is also highly unlikely. No pal park for HG/SS especially since it will be having so many things to do with the DSi... That's how most games are going to be too, no connection with GBA games, the DSi is taking over. And I guess if you wanted IDK, a Zapdos you caught in your FR you'd have to go FR-->D/P/Pt-->HGSS.

Theres gonna be a distant land? havent heard that unless its that area in the PokeWalker, is it supposed to be like the Sevii islands in FR/LG? And Im pretty sure Mt Coronet cant be in Jhoto because its in the center of Sinnoh. To get stuff like magneton to evolve it probably goes to Mt Silver

Second, how do the Pal Park locations rule out a HG/SS Pal Park?
because we've seen every other location BUT Johto.
There's Kanto, if migrated from FR/LG
There's Hoenn if migrated from R/S/E
There's Distant Land if from Colosseum/Pokemon XD
Simply, no Johto location, which will be obtainable if Johto. And I'll probably edit this post with the HG/SS DSi camera pic. when I find it
And it wouldn't make ANY sense for Johto to be able to migrate with a generation that came after it? (Hoenn). I really don't think they'll be a Pal Park.
