okay, i need some help on breeding.

im trying to get a flawless male ralts with mean look.

i started out with LF's flawless ditto and a nothing ralts with mean look egg. I bred until i got the first male, which had much better IVs. I bred 5 more males off of this one. The IVs are posted below including the current parent.

sassy 9/31/28/31/13/1
mild 9/6/31/14/13/14
lonely 8/27/31/16/31/30
serious 27/6/23/12/13/14
hardy 14/31/30/31/31/5
quiet 0/31/31/12/30/14

What is the next step towards my goal? switch out the current breeding pair to be LF's ditto and the hardy ralts (since it has 3 perfects?) Then what? Lay out the formula steps for me so i can repeat the process with another pokemon.

I'm not sure how much you know about breeding and the passing of IVs, so if you already know about this, bear with me: A maximum of 3 IV can be passed from both parents combined. As little as 1 can be passed (Ex. Attack stat from parent A passed all three times) For more info: a four part guide on breeding by X-Act

So I would take your best Ralts (tri-flawless) with the Ditto (iicc, it's hex-flawless) and either RNG it to peaches, or pray that 3 31's pass, and the others randomly generate to 30/31. Don't forget an everstone if you care about nature.

Nope, they only gain levels (exp), and the moves learned are applied after you take it out. Nothing else changes.

Okay so, I'm trying to ev train my salamence but it's only level 5. I bred Dragon Dance on it, but I'm afraid if I put it in the daycare the Dragon Dance slot might get replaced with a level up move. Is there any way I can prevent this?

There's no other way to prevent the move deletion but to only keep vigilante on how many levels your Bagon had gained in the day care. Make sure to use the D/P/PT/HG/SS PokeDex on Serebii.net to check for the list of moves it may learn at each certain levels.

Does anyone else find MetalKid's new damage calculator format to be really annoying? If so, where is the next best bet for efficient and accurate calcs?

I'd recommend the Libelldra Forge's Damage Calculator. It's one of the best, accurate and user friendliest (for me anyway).

If DD is the only move you want to save, I'd suggest moving it to the bottom of its list of moves. EX. Bagon knows Ember, Headbutt, DD and Leer. Move DD to the 4th slot when looking at the summary. That way, if it forgets a move in the daycare, it forgets the top one, then DD moves to slot 3. And so forth. So you can take it out every 3 moves learned and repeat.

Be sure to save every once in a while when you do this just in case. Once it's at a good level, you can EV train it by itself, because at some point you can one shot the gastly/magikarp/Gyrados or whatever you EV train on.

If you try to switch out a Pokemon with a Substitute, and the opponent uses Pursuit on that turn, does the Substitute still take the damage, or does it fade before Pursuit hits?

What is the 28 SpD IV for in the analysis for the lead (Stealth Rock) Azelf?
Try 31 IV for every stats on Shoddy Team maker and you may find out that an Azelf with Naive nature and all 31 IVs is invalid. If you were to simply change its SpD IV to 28, then its IV became valid. This had something to do with the legit-ness IV spread of the wild caught Azelf in-game.

I do not know the full detailing of the legit IV spreads, and so I cannot go into further detail.

Coldeye, use the analysis. I'm getting fed up with you just constantly posting standard movesets in here. Putting a question mark on the end of a standard moveset does not make it a question.

That said, SD Gallade needs Shadow Sneak. Use it over Ice Punch or Psycho Cut.
