IB will do that multiple times to you
and you don't even need to procrastinate that badly
Actually I could have finished my extended essay if i had not procrastinated. It's just that goofing and having fun came first :P

If you're doing all nighters in high school, you're doing it wrong.
If you're doing all nighters in high school, you're doing it wrong.
If you're doing all nighters in high school, and you're not doing them because you have 10 billion extracurriculars and barely enough time to touch the desk, college will not be fun for you.
High school never had more than 2 or so hours of work for me.
All UCAS stuff through now. I already had conditional offers to study History and Politics at University of Sheffield, Southampton, UEA, and Leicester. Now got the last one through and was rejected from Warwick, but don't mind that much since I didn't really want to go Warwick as much as Sheffield anyway. For all of them, but Leicester, they are AAB to get in and I'm on AAAB from last year so am on course to get the required grades.
I'm definitely going to be accepting the Sheffield offer as my 1st choice and then Leicester as my reserve. I just need to ensure I do well in the Economics Unit 3 Exam on Friday. The English Language one on Wednesday isn't so important for me as I only need AAB so getting a great grade in that isn't of too much importance compared to Economics which I am on an A atm and would like to stay high to ease pressure in the Summer. History and Politics I would have to muck up extremely badly to not get A's (on 192 UMS Politics, 182 UMS History) so I should be fine for getting the grades as long as I keep working =)
Unfortunately I do. On Tuesdays I get home at around 10 from band and clubs. Usually it's around 7 I get home.
Where do you ever have more than 2 hours of homework you can't do in advance?
By "do in advance" i mean "not due the next day" / "you learn the material and know the assignment early enough to do it"
Eraddd, you have some suck ass IB teachers
Well, they probably teach at least. Physics kids (like me) need to do 3 IA's before March (when my school is gonna turn them in). Plus, HL kids (like me) need to teach ourselves one whole option. Woo
Just finished with straight A's for the 10th consecutive term, I am pretty proud of myself! Yet, this term is going to be tough since I will have some AP classes.
Anyone can get A's without AP or IB classes. One AP/IB class? You should be ashamed to have less than a 4.0. Hell, I have 4 AP classes right now (US HIstory, Physics, Chemistry, Calculus BC), missed the whole semester (exchange), came for the finals to see where I'd be, and ACED THEM ALL (well, History was a 97% because of my essay-writing skills). But I worked my ass off for 5 months, doing double work (Slovene school and US school). Try THAT on for size.
Unfortunately I do not have a 4.0. My chemistry class was a bitch last year and I learned more than I ever have in a class, but the tests were insane and not curved (one test's average was 13%). Still 89.5% both semesters isn't bad for a teacher who doesn't give A's.

I also kept my grades up this semester which is nice! My third quarter is probably my most difficult though.
Anyway, has anyone started applying for Scholarships? I'm definitely late here, I've only applied for one small one. I'm having a lot of trouble finding ones that apply to me (white, male). My grandpa is a veteran which opens up some ~__~; So yea, if anyone feels like sharing scholarship applications I'd really appreciate it!!
Also, how are AP Tests? I haven't taken any before, and I have Psych and Chemistry coming (on the same day, yea!) If anyone has tips for those too it'd be cool.
