Sleep status makes its Defense and Special Defense equal though with maxed out HP... And my non-rng shiny is a Calm Milotic... so can you just help me select other members of my team? OU... preferably stall!
 
Considering most hail teams have Tentacruel and Walrein, I', apprehensive about putting Milotic on my hail stall team, and am probably going to give it its own team...

My hail stall team is Abomasnow, Walrein, Froslass, Tentacruel, Gliscor, and Heatran but I'd prefer something over Heatran or Gliscor...

I have yet to decide what to put alongside Milotic in OU... Blissey, Brongzong, Dusknoir, Gliscor, Jirachi, Latias, Magnezone, Roserade, Rotom, Scizor, Skarmory, Snorlax, Togekiss, Zapdos... Which 3 defensive pokemon and 2 offensive pokemon of overused would work best with her?
 
You will definitely need something to switch into electric and grass attacks directed at Milotic, Roserade resists electric attacks and 4x resists grass, it also has access to toxic spikes. Assuming that you're building a stall team you should also consider a spin blocker, so a Rotom forme or Dusknoir (if for wifi) are good choices. Gliscor is also something to consider on a hail based stall team as Lucario is a massive threat for that kind of teams.
 
I have two questions, really.

My little brother was given his friend's copy of Pearl which contained the Kanto starters - apparently transferred from FR/LG - and bred them to produce an egg of each one for me. I have recently seen the save file and it's obvious that the previous owner has used AR Max for items etc. Seeing as the savegame the parents came from has been tampered with, have the eggs/resulting starters qualified my save as non-legit?


How vital is it to get high (25-31) IVs for competitive battling?
 
1- No, if the items are the only thing altered, then the pokes are legit. Besides, even if the parents were hax, you bred yours making them at LEAST semi-legit.

2- Very impoprtant; max stats give you the edge nine times out of ten (only a few pokes actually REQUIRE lower IVs, trick room teams having 0 speed as an example).

2. Drat, I'll have to assume the legit players I can battle aren't as OCD as I am while I set up my team.
 
Can someone recommend me a good team to go along with a timid latias (ut at the moment) for getting to and beating the tower tycoon for the second time in pokemon platinum? Also for all the other types of battle tower competition, as I am trying to get every ribbon on one pokémon (latias).
 
1)In wifi-battles, does returns power automatically reach 102 or does it depend on the Hapiness-points, too?

2) How can I teach Jirachi Bodyslam? I couldn´t fin any information o serebii...
 
yes, on cartridge games, return/frustration rely on your happiness. It only auto-sets to 102 on shoddy because it assumes you're going to have max happiness. (why wouldn't you?)

In Diamond and Pearl. Upload a Pokemon to the GTS and turn off at the right time, you'll still have it on your game and on the GTS too. Does not work in Platinum.

If you have Emerald, there's a very quick, easy, and effective cloning glitch there. You can clone Pokemon 5 at a time, and items en masse. Only Emerald, not other 3rd gen games. Of course that's only any good for Pokemon and items present in 3rd gen.

And of course, cheating devices and programs can clone. I believe most people consider Pokemon thusly cloned unaltered legit.

Speed is crucial - so many Pokemon want max speed. Other stats are less critical, but the higher the better. However most Pokemon do have one or two 'dump stats' that really doesn't matter.
Some people run 0 Atk on Pokemon that use no physical attacks, in order to reduce confusion damage.
Also, IVs determine Hidden Power, one of the most important moves in the game.

Encore will select the last move used - since Focus Punch's buildup priority activates before Encore, you'll be locked into Focus Punch.

I want to Surf from New Bark Town to the Routes that bring me to the Pokémon Leauge. But that shitty girl with her Marill keeps fucking with me saying some Japanese stuff I don't understand. I haven't caught Ho-oH yet, but I do have defeated the Kimono girls.

Question: Do I have to catch Ho-oH before I can go to the Pokémon leauge or is there something else I've forgotten on my way?
 
I assume the way you can have a Pokemon follow you around, like in Amity square or like the Pikachu back in yellow.
Don't know the answer though.

I have a Azelf in my platinum card and planned to use it to make a standard azelf leader. However, i was afraid that he could be outsped by something important because he is Modest. But looking at the Overused Speed Tiers article, the only thing that could be important is the +speed nature Gengar, that after platinum is non-existant as leader, and the neutral speed Aerodactyl that is non-existant too, exactly to outspeed azelfs.

Did I miss something, or i'm safe to use it?

If being modest ruins it, Someone has any suggestion?

You actually miss speed-tying with opposing lead Azelfs and either Taunting them or speed-tying and setting up Stealth Rock. Also, if it doesn't have a 31 IV in Speed, that's even less of an incentive to use it as a lead.
