Scrappy lets it hit Ghosts with Normal and Fighting moves. With Ghost's immunity to them removed, it would be able to hit it for super-effective with any fighting move.
If it had a phazing move, or entry hazards, those. Otherwise, probably Substitute or Safeguard to try and block status, or stuff like Screech. But the idea is it doesn't matter, it just sits there. The most ridiculous wall around, that's the concept. Give it stats like 198/1/150/1/150/100.
Miltank gets Scrappy, so could thwock it one with Fighting moves.
If Fossil pokémon stopped being Rock-type (or at least stopped being Shit/Rock), then we could see something good. I mean, Grass/Water/Bug are cool types to be with Rock, but with THAT Base Speed...? Really?
I forgot that Miltank could use Hammer Arm, heh.
About the fossil Pokemon, it would be nice if the Pokemon that came from the fossils were just extinct animals and not pre historic. That would give us a nice change from all fossil related pokemon being rock type.
EDIT: That could lead to a whole "human innovation caused the death of X Pokemon species" which would make a pretty interesting plot line.

It would be 100% setup bait for any sweeper packing Taunt, which would force it to Struggle every time. Toxic or Will-o-wisp would always kill it in at least 17 turns if hit by them, and would need some high PP moves just to try and stall out a single Pokemon. But only Scrappy Pokemon or Pokemon with Foresight + Fighting move could actually damage it directly with BP moves, other options being those odd typeless attacks that take time to hit.
No point even thinking about it really, no Pokemon will ever be made that is that ridiculous. Shedinja and Wobbuffet are ridiculous enough as concepts, but that???....

Aren't fossil Pokemon part rock because they came from the fossil, which in game is always in the form of a rock? Though it would be nice to see some that aren't just pre-historic things. Dodo bird, perhaps?

Isn't the Doduo line supposed to be based off the dodo bird in the first place?
You would think so, given it's name, but I think they're more based off of emus.

The Johto Legendary Trio have both feline and canine traits, which is why most people these days refer to them as "Beasts" rather than Cats/Dogs. It appears to be a fair compromise.
No, it's a saber-tooth tiger (hence the fangs and yellow coloring and such). The three beasts aren't all based on just one type of animal or another, which is why I prefer to refer to them as just the Legendary Beasts. It's more accurate, and it doesn't cause this kind of confusion that "Legendary Dogs" and such does.
They are officially referred to as legendary Beasts, not referring to either cats nor dogs (though the community generally calls them dogs). Raikou is obviously based of a Sabre tooth tiger, or even a normal tiger, meaning it would be a cat. Entei could be argued to be based of a lion too, though to me it's a equal mix between lion and dog. Suicune is based off a wolf, if I had to guess, however Bulbapedia says it may be based off a Leopard or Cheetah, which also makes sense. /stuff people beat me to saying
but yeah, fighting legendary would be cool...

Resists rock/fire/dark/bug/poison/normal
Yeah, and none of them are x4 so thats even better.
Also sandstorm abuse. Three of those weaknesses may become after thoughts depending on the level of bulk this Fight/Rock pokemon would have. Not bad at all. Give it solid rock for the lulz.
I love the idea of pre-historic animals coming from the fossils, being a lover of them myself. I'm waiting for the day I get my Tyrannosaurus and strike fear into the hearts of my opponents.
And I don't think that just because the fossil pokemon come from rocks, that they HAVE to be rock type. Types like Ground and even Steel could be viable (Ice and Water too, if you really want to put a stretch in it)
4th Gen fossils were very dissapointing. So much so that I made my Rampardos an HM slave. At least it did something well.

Ghost/Water maybe? The only two types that don't pair with Water yet are Fire and Ghost, (even Normal in Bibarel)

Resists: Fire (0.5x), Ice (0.5x), Water (0.5x), Steel (0.5x), Bug (0.5x), Poison (0.5x)
Immune: Normal and Fighting.
An immune ability (like Levitate which blocks Ground) would make sense.

Give it volt absorb, Gengar is weak to ground and he got an immunity, so it only makes sense.
