This gives the basic idea. Couldn't find a link, but this is a good outline for everything you need to do.I don't know what you actually don't get but I thought maybe it's easier this way.
ID Finder how to abuse
Let us take this for example:
PID: 7942ef72 (TIMID, ability 0) 31/31/31/31/31/31 (Seed: d2140289 Frames - 1: 114, J (synch): 71, J (no synch): None, K (synch): 71, K (no synch): 87) HP DARK 70
Hexflawless Spread generated with Wichus PokeRNG.
I guess you know how to do that.

![]()
![]()
After that: RNG as usual
(Calibration, etc.)
A normal delay for HG can lie between 5000 und 5700. for me it's easy to hit 5730 (I don't know why.xD)
![]()
If you abused succesfully, you will have a Shiny Spread on the PID you used.
Of course you can also use the delay PokeRNG gives you. In the example case it would be: D2140289
ok i just got the exact same ho-oh on the right seed again but i hit frame 54 again, i'm not sure i understand what to do? i detuned after i switched to each station so would that be 53/20, the second time i did 53/21 and still got a frame of 54, what would i do next? i did 21 the second time because after i was finished i moved it back to the center so i guess use the 53/20?

So, I guess nobody knows if I can talk to Steven after I beat the E4, huh?I think Latios reappears the same way as entei and raikou: faint him then beat elite four. I haven't done this yet myself, but I have read what other people have done and am going based off of their experience. Besides, I don't see any reason why any roamer would be handled differently then others.

Thanks palkiaqua.
Edit: I too have a few occasions similar to Despotar, but for SS.
EDIT: When are the IV's being sent for Latios?
So what you're saying is that radio advancements are always the same in the same seed if advanced the same way, but differ in how much is advanced from seed to different seed? Inconsistency is from seed to different seed, rather than random inconsistencies in a seed you're able to regularly hit?In my experience, and I've tried following other peoples guides and adjusting things too, I've never once gotten the radio to advance consistently on my target seed. I don't know how other people have been doing it but w/e. I HAVE however, used the radio with it's inconsistent incriments of advancement to reach my target frame many many times though. If you got a frameof 54 on your seed, just take 53 and divide it by the total number of detunes you did, find the "average advancement" you're getting and adjust accordingly. There's NO guarantee it'll get you spot on 44 or whatever the very next time you try it, BUT I can 100% guarantee you that if you do the same number of detunes on the same seed it will give you the exact same advancements (albeit with possibly inconsistent incriments) unless ofcourse you do something else screwy, but that's up to you.
Nah I really won't put it that way.So what you're saying is that radio advancements are always the same in the same seed if advanced the same way, but differ in how much is advanced from seed to different seed? i'm in front of regigigas
i have this adamant spread 31/31/31/17/31/31
on frame 882
so I have to do 439 journal flips (439x2=878)
and walk 128 steps with my registeel, regirock and regice (that will advance the frame to 881 + regigigas monster frame 1 = 882)
Am I correct? Or that's not possible since its an area with wild pokemon? if so can someone tell me what to do to advance the frame? Thanks.
What reasons are their for a frame being lower then the target frame (Short of inproper journal flips)?
If it's an area with wild pokemon then save so that there's a space between you and Regigigas the do 440 flips and take a step forward then encounter.
so stations advance the rng based on what time it is?Nah I really won't put it that way.
At least I never experienced it like that.
But think of it: When you set your DS to a paticular time to hit your seed, the stations do change because the time changes. Different stations send to different times. This is what I can confirm.
What I can say for sure: Same stations, always do advance at the same amount.
Also: Speed might be important so you won't run into any commercials on the radio which would unintentionally advance your frame.
I haven't got a roamer, and I'm pretty sure theirs no NPCs moving! If your breeding NPC movement.
Other then that possibly thinking you have a roamer? And you dont? XD
Dont think that would happen though lol

Any other possible reasons?
No no I'm breeding, but I've saved and restarted so many times I'm sure it's not a NPC.Are you breeding or catching?
Im going to guess and say Catching since you said no NPC's can you tell us what and where?
Eughh I still don't get this. I tried following this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncLVknVQyc8&feature=related
I turned the game on and collected my egg, walked around for 5 minutes and hatched my rattata. I then went into the grass, sweet scented and caught a roselia. I put the time and date and IVs and nature of the roselia into the seed finder. It found one seed I clicked ok and then on the main screen I clicked generate. I then checked the IVs of the rattata and none of them match the generated results, what am I doing wrong?
your supposed to catch a pokemon immediately after collecting the egg, from my experience waiting too long to catch a pokemon screws up your initial seed since frames are advancing while your walking around to hatch your rattata. So the game may have advanced too many frames to accurately determine the correct initial seed.
