Is it just me or does it sort of look like the antennae are coming out of the right side of its head?
Don't know how I didn't notice it, but, the antennae were are definitely pushed to the side.m190049, my comments stem mostly just from aesthetic preferences. I find the eyes are proportionally a bit too small for the size of the head and that the antennae could stand to be separated from each other a bit. The new antennae bulbs however are an improvement over the first.
Also, I stared at it a bit, and I think you were right, Cartoons!, the eye did feel a bit small. I tried rectifying it, and it looked pretty off no matter what I tried to do to fix it, though I think I got it, kinda...
How does it look now?
Could probably stand to move the Antenna a little bit more...
Hm...Comparing it to some of the others...
Does it look a bit too "pink"?
It looks fine when you look at it by itself for a while...
Though when you see it to all the others, it seems pretty bright.
Also, one thing I felt like doing on a whim:
Like Doug, I usually save certain "jump points" of making my sprite, as I do it.
So, I decided, why not do the same as him make an animation of them?
It's pretty cool seeing it be drawn step by step like that.
I think you pulled it off rather well! In fact, when you compare the two, side by side, It almost seems like the original was TOO big. It's true, the eyes are a bit blockish. I tried making them bigger but didn't like how it looked. How does it look with more rounded edges?

I think full body looks a bit large and mostly cut is way too small; bottom cut definitely the best of the three. Though, I was also thinking that a spot right between bottom and mostly cut might look pretty good as well. Like if the bottom part of it's right claw was cut off, but not the whole thing.I've begun work on the backsprite and am wondering what the best way to frame it would be.

full body -- bottom cut -- mostly cut
The sprite still needs some cleaning up, but I'm wondering which of these you think offers the best presentation.
