yanmega dont really need a ability to boost the accuracy of moves, all he get is a usable hypnosis, 100% accuracy air slash and that it has far i know.

Wonder if there'll ever be a Pokemon that will change gender whenever it switches in or if the other Pokemon switches in. It'd be the #1 Attract user. If it gets ConfuseRay and ThunderWave, it'd be a huge annoyer. It can be Grass with LeechSeed.

It would be better if it automatically became the opposite gender of the opponent pokemon. Or if it could use moves which targeted the opposite gender no matter what the opponent's gender was. It would probably get an exclusive move that has that sort of theme as well.

Game Freak just needs to give Compoundeyes to a Pokemon that's fast with a decent movepool to use it. I think Crobat would appreciate an ability called "Echo" which raises accuracy by 20-30%, if only for Hypnosis. Perhaps they could also give it Gunk Shot to bolster its strength.

Yea. That's what I meant but I wasn't very clear with that. If the LoveBall somehow sticks around, catch Pokemon might be easier with a Pokemon like that.

@above: I like Crobat missing sometimes. He'd be a huge problem if Hypnosis was that accurate.

How would it make it easier? All the Love Ball does is increase the happiness of the pokemon caught.

Haha. I'm playing with an Attract team right now on Shoddy, and I would kill for a pokemon with an ability like that if it had good enough stats.

If the Pokemon you're trying to catch is the opposite gender of your Pokemon then the catch rate is x8 with the LoveBall. You're thinking about the FriendBall or the LuxuryBall.

I do wonder why they made all the birds Normal/Flying. Pure Flying would make sense. As I mentioned previously, a pure-Flying Pokemon now ought to be something that never lands. Albatross is an obvious basis. Bird-of-paradise might make sense also - historically, stuffed specimens had their unsightly feet removed, and the group is very showy, good for Pokemon concepts.

A pure-Flying Pokemon would completely lose its typing if it used Roost.

Then again, Gamefreak might be able to find a way around that by just programming it to turn into a Normal-type if it used Roost, or just not put Roost in its move pool at all.

Also, I have a few additions to your wishlist of flying types...

1. Another bat Pokemon, maybe with Dark or Ghost as a secondary type. Seriously, the whole Zubat line being part Poison makes no sense. Have you ever heard of a poisonous bat?

2. Evos for Delibird, Ledian, Masquerain, Pelipper, and Tropius.

3. A Fighting/Flying Pokemon. Please, Gamefreak, it would be so easy!

4. A Steel/Poison Weezing evo with Levitate. OK, it's not technically a flying type, but it would be such a boss.

Aw, right, my mistake. I'm not really sure if it would work like that, but it certainly would be interesting if it did.

I question the validity of your argument considering the game we're talking about. A Flying/Dark pokemon would be neat, and would get rid of its Fighting and Bug weaknesses. And a Weezing evolution would rock, though I doubt it would be Poison/Steel type. It would most likely stay the same.

A Weezing evolution would look freakin scary. Masquerain is the only decent low-stat Bug Pokemon so an evolution isn't all that necessary. If one low-stat Bug Pokemon gets an evolution, they'd probably all have to, too. Masquerain is cool because of the "scary" eyes on its wings. How would it look if it evolved? A fairy? Where would its Intimidate go?

Currently, there's no Pokemon that can wall a NastyPlot, Flamethrower, AirSlash, AuraSphere Togekiss. If there's a Rock/Ghost, it can happen.

@McLuvdisc: Sceptile is Grass. Why is a reptile Grass? It doesn't make sense at all!

In all seriousness, it's Pokemon. They can make any animal any type of Pokemon. Electric sheep! <3

A Roosting pure Flying type would probably become the "???" type, but I'm sure testing has been done on this. All you have to do is hack Roost onto an Arceus holding a Sky Plate.

Levitating Steel/Ghost? Hmmm...let me think. Only one 2x weakness to a not-so-common attacking type, ten resistances, and four immunities. Sounds pretty good to me!

Just in general, I want to see this generation bring more unique type combinations for dual type Pokemon. More dual type Ghosts would be cool, but I think the type that really needs some loving is Electric. In four generations of Pokemon, it's only been combined with four different types!

Edit: LOL I see a lot of people are criticizing me for picking on the Zubat line. I know Pokemon isn't supposed to make sense. I just really want another bat, because bats are some of my favorite animals.

Look out, here comes Ice/Rock type!

@Tytus: I already said that a pure flying turns into ??? type after roost.

Another bat line would be cool. My favorite animals are elephants but I'm fine with them stopping at Phanpy and Donphan. Phanpy is too adorable. If they made another elephant, they'd probably kill it.

Maybe gamefreak will do a no weak poke right this time. Spiritomb was better than Sableye, but not that great (alright in uu though). I'm anticipating items to increase trick room/ gravity's time on field. It might make it worth it to use both on a team and use swords dance Ryperior. I dunno if it would work though.

The electric sheep actually makes sense-- static electricity and wool? Speaking of electric sheep: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2FX9rviEhw

@+Accuracy Ability: I too would like to see one of these used effectively. I want it to ADD accuracy, not multiply. The ability should benefit less accurate moves more after all. However, maybe NOT something with a sleep move-- I'd rather see it on a pokemon that has to rely on moves like Blizzard and Focus Blast. Special Ice/Fighting sweeper? Not like GF is likely to make something that sick. Well, just a water type sweeper would be good, it could use it for Blizzard and Hydro Pump.
