@Proboscidea: Well, Happiny evolves into Chansey when its holding an Oval Stone and levels up during the day. But I guess that doesn't count as a true stone evolution, since you're not using the thing directly. I'd love to see a Ninetales evo too, but an evolution after the use of a stone would be unprecedented. Plus, I think Gamefreak's already given us our fix of weird magical foxes for the year...

But if we do get a Ninetales evo, this should be it:

Uh... you do know that Black is just about one of the most liked colors ever? Especially among nerds. Red and Black are my favorite colors.

Delibird (Give him scrappy)
Mightyena
Altaria
Bibarel
Toxicroak
 
Is it really worth sacrificing one of its abilities for Scrappy just to use Rapid Spin when he loses half his health to Stealth Rock? Vital Spirit, yes. Hustle, no.

You could always take away its flying type and give it something not weak to SR. It's totally worth getting rid of VS for Scrappy.
 
not like delibird is doing anything useful these days anyway, its better for him to have something special like scrappy rapid spin rather then CB hustle aerial ace(or brave bird for the hardcore players/hackers) coming from his awesome...hummm...what is his base atack again?
 
Hmm... Scappy's nice, but I'd really rather a Delibird evo get something akin to Mountaineer from the CAP project (for those that don't know: it negates damage from Rock attacks and Stealth Rock on the switch-in). That or Magic Guard, so long as they keep it under control.
 
under...control? gamefreak dont know the word control my friend, if delibird get a evo it will be something broken top OU tier or the exactly same shit that he is now but with a better ability., same for farfetchd, arceus and magikarp(Gyarados is fake), just think about it though, some pokemons are made to be gimmicks but have something special about then, even if delibird sucked ass, scrappy rapid spin would be....unique.
 
gamefreak can do better then this IMO, they can give evos to pokemons that REALLY need, pokemons like pinsir, tauros and delibird has really being asking for one either way, i dont give a damn the later is a gimmick poke, i want a fucking flying-ice non-legendary viable pokemon!

well yeah, in the last part i was just mentioning that delibird really deserve a evo to not be considered a gimmick pokemon anymore, in a sense i am agreeing with him.
 
Honestly, Gligar got an EVO that rocks and Delibird should get one too. Even if the fact that one game got Gligar and the other got Delibird wasn't fair at all to begin with.

For that matter, what about a Skarmory prevo? Can you think of a really useful move a prevo could add?
 
i dont think it could add anything useful, i mean serious, what skarmory need? it get everything it could make use of, it get even SD and a viable physical movepool! curse, SR and spikes, i dont really know what a mini-mory could add besides the cutie value.
 
well, it would be it's presence that matters more-spikes would make little cup even more of a priority fest, since everything will be in KO range
 
The only reason a Delibird evo would be good is if it got an ability that made it immune to Stealth Rocks. So would Yanmega (At least better, because he has awesome abilities). And since people are wanting a Scrappy Delibird, I think that would just get rid of the point in having it in the first place.
 
Well, I caved in and added Dunsparce to my list of Pokemon that should get evos. My reasoning for being hesitant to is that Dunsparce is pretty damn cool as is, he may not be anywhere near OU but he's got respect. But Togetic got an evo and that was a Gracer, so I guess the ultimate gracer deserves one too.

Add in Girafarig for good measure.
 
Yeah, I think GF is afraid of Dunsparce. They were like, "Yeah, we'll give you the STAB Body Slam, STAB Headbutt, perfect movepool Serene Grace abuser... but it's going to be BST 415 including base 45 Speed." They were willing to make it useless to prevent rampant paraflinching stupidity from taking over the game. They just apparently assumed that making Jirachi event-only would keep it from being a factor...
