ITS NO USE! i do not approve this pokemon that reach almost 8000 speed since he make floatzel(who in rain at +6 blablabla etc become faster poke) look slow.

This is how good Nintendo is at leakproofing. They've reduced us to discussing counters for a Pokemon that we made up ourselves.

Pokemon Sunday, you can't come soon enough.

Sigged for truth. OF course, I guess I may as well perpetuate it so we're discussing something at the very least.

Anyways, I think, in terms of ease for Game Freak, Starmie might be easiest to evolve. Magnezone is probably more akin to a Dusknoir than a Togekiss in terms of metagame necessity, but we still like the UFO. A 20-pointed Starrus with a BST of 550 and stats of 70/75/80/115/80/130 would actually be very interesting to play with...

Thus it is likely to happen.

I think an evolution of Starmie would like a bit strange, if it kept the same theme of getting more and more points. It would be best if it changed its form a bit, much like Magnezone did.

If there's one evolution I would like to see happen in the next gen, it would have to be either Absol or Banette.

The former has good Attack, but is bogged down by all its other mediocre stats, making it much less effective than it should be. Besides, Super Luck is an interesting ability which could be fun in OU, and Absol has the movepool to take advantage of it. Honchcrow does as well, but isn't as viable in OU as an Absol evolution would be. The only thing it really needs is a bit more speed, and maybe just a little more bulk.

Banette is the only Ghost Pokemon geared towards being a physical attacker, again the only downfall being speed. Having access to Shadow Claw, the most powerful Shadow Sneak in the game, and a great deal of support option, Banette is just ruined potential. An evolution with a boost to Speed could get it into UU or OU category, being a unique and powerful addition to a team.

@Below: Har, it does look like one.

It's a tsuchinoko! I'd know, I caught one in Metal Gear Solid 3.

I remember I made Snake eat that thing but I saved. Then, I found it by the Waterfall area and I was so amazed of it moving around. It was so creepy and cool and interesting all at once. Then, I saved and stabbed it to death to see what would happen. Its dying animation wasn't so great. I never thought Dunsparce was one but if you compare, they're very similar.

It's a snake that has no length and alot of girth. It's a tsuchinoko. I thought that's why everyone else thinks Dunsparce is so cool. I know it's why I think it is.

They need to increase the number of Pokemon you can carry or the amount of moves they hold.

Just 6 wont cut it anymore with over 500 things you have to cover.

Hot Coals would be cool. Burn grounded non-Fire type switchins. Fire types absorb them, and airborne Pokemon aren't affected. Replace and are replaced by Toxic Spikes.

Generally I expect Gen 5 to bring lots of new offensive Pokemon and powerful attacking moves, and maybe new items useful for offensive. I'm not expecting stall to get so much new stuff. Hot Coals would be an asset to stall, but I don't think they'd be gamebreaking. Airborne attackers would still pose a threat, and running Hot Coals means not running Toxic Spikes. It might be a bigger asset to offense, being able to limit the opponent's ability to revenge kill.

A bulky, powerful Fire/Ground type might be a useful addition in a such an environment, being able to switch in to absorb the Hot Coals and take the neutral hit (don't switch in on a water move!), then strike back hard. It should have enough speed to make a reasonable Scarfer, but doesn't want to be a Fire/Ground Infernape (because we already have Infernape).

90/70/110/95/90/100

A Speedy tank, which can kick some ass. t-wave would probs be situational

Theorymon

Thunderbolt
t-wave/charge beam
coverage filler
health recovery/ charge beam

could take out pokes like ddgyara and ddmence, then try and set up.

I thought it would be cool if there was a kind of "Super Weather Ball" That was even stronger, but also removed any weather conditions on the field once it was used.
But thinking about it, there isn't any practical application for a move like that besides countering Chlorophyll teams.
Give Castform some kind of buff/evolution(s) anyways. I like him.

yeah........Castform was cool, but it could be a sort of ttar counter, taking away his sand stream had hitting him for some pretty decent damage. Hard to implement though.

I also had this idea of this Fighting/Dark type

Based on an amoured centaur/black knight.

Castform evolutions (as well as Sandy form added) would be cool. If you level up a Castform while there is Hail, you evolve into the ice form, etc, etc. Give them each their own abilities (Drizzle, Sandstream, Drought, and Snow Warning). Then bump up their stats to 90 each. Drizzle/Drought versions would probably be placed into Ubers, but they would still be fun. The Sandstream evo would be nearly as bulky as Tyranitar on the special side (90 HP, 90 SpD < 100 HP, 100 SpD), but with a much more powerful special STAB. Or they could just add 60 or even 120 points to its BST and make each stat distribution unique. Castform evos seem like a no-brainer given what they have done with Burmy and such.

Cloud Nine for the clear-weather evo, obv.

I've been thinking that probably W's legendary'll be better than B's...think RS, where kyogre is more useful than groudon (and easier to catch; thanks net ball) and DP, where palkia is better than dialga (offensively at least; thanks net ball again; thanks kyogre's rain)...but this probably has to do with the fact that people prefer the first of the two versions (even in hgss' case, hg is more popular...try going to gamefaqs's main page and you'll see, hg's always been at a higher place than ss)

I like the idea for split Castform evolutions, as it would make an extremely versatile Pokemon with advantages over the likes of other perma-weather inducers (Being more specially offensive, moreso). Castform was a great idea, anyways, but just didn't have the stats to be effective.

Adding more move/team slots just seems like a bad idea. I really hope this doesn't happen, as what we have already is enough.

I wouldn't say enough is the right word. We could easily have 7 Pokemon on our teams, or 5 moveslots, it's just the game is currently balanced for 6 and 4.

in gen 3 gamefreak was thinking of changing the amount of pokes we can have at once and/or amount of moves our pokemons can have but the idea was scrapped, they were no details of the numbers, just that they were thinking about changing that, has far we know our pokemons could have carring 6 moves by now.

Honestly, I doubt we're gonna get more team slots/move slots/triple typing. Why? Because every single pokemon game has been almost exactly the same as the one before it except for:

1) New Pokemon
3) New characters (but still same 8 badge/elite 4/champion-is-someone-you-know/Team Rocket variation backstory)
4) New Moves

The only things I can think of that really changed the game is the introduction of abilities (Sand Stream, Static, etc.), and the introduction of Steel and Dark pokemon.

Basically, Pokemon has not changed much at all over the ~10-11 years it's been running, so why should it now?

i prefer things in the way they are(though i would enjoy having 5 moveslots in pokemons like lucario and salamence) since we are all used to it, but they always could go and add more slots in spinoffs like PMD right?

What we have to realize is that something game changing happens every generation

1:Start

2: Introduction of new types and breeding

3: Created Abilities and Natures, as well as the introduction of double battles

4: Physical/Special split

I may not even have everything there, but the pattern still stays the same; something's going to happen.

All those are good, too. It's not likely that they'll break that pattern and give us a change that's bad.

Castform evolutions is probably the best fan idea I've heard. Drizzle and Drought are too strong though, maybe they activate rain/sun for 5 turns upon his entrance. If Damp/Rock boosted this they could make a exceptional leads for weather teams.
