I'm trying to RNG catch Sudowoodo, I have just Raikou roaming, so does that mean once I'm in the game my starting frame should be 2? Or do I have to find out my frame once i'm in? This is my first attempt at RNG catching in any game.
Usually, a roamer will increase the starting frame by one; but sometimes, it will be more. If you enter Raikou's position when you saved the game on RNG Reporter, then it will calculate Raikou's new position for your frame and how many advances that will give.
Regardless, if you're using Elm/Irwin calls to verify your seed, they will also show what frame you're on.
Starting up a new game shouldn't affect your Time and Delay, right?
I highly doubt it, but you can always check through the calibration phase. It takes only 10min or so.
Ok how exactly do I verify my frame with Elm calls? What part of the RNG Reporter do I do this on?
Click on Seed to time and input your seed.
I'm trying to hit a delay of 493 for breeding in soul silver and whenever I check for what delay I'm hitting using the roaming method it says I have hit 489, so I changed my date from 2010 to 2014 to make my target delay 489, but when I try and hit this I constantly hit 485. Why I'm I always hitting a delay 4 lower than I need?
Whoo! I finally (after a couple hours of resetting) hit the seed I wanted to catch a Staryu. Now I just have to wait 8 hours for it to be "night" and it comes into the fishing slots...

Try adjusting the timer instead of the year.
With Pikatimer there is even NO NEED to adjust the year.
What's the best adamant spread to use for Ho-oh? I can hit any delay pretty easily.
EDIT: nvm, I found 31/31/31/17/31/31 on seed C20B0AF4 with an adamant syncher.

The shiny aspect is based of your ID/SID so input the seed into RNg reporter, enter your ID/SID in the appropriate boxes and click generate, find the frame(s) with the IVs and nature you want and if it has three exclamation points (!!!) next to it (the column that displays this is before the nature column and after the PID column) then that spread will show up shiny, if it does not then your out of luck and it will never be shiny on that game.
it would help if you mentioned what nature you wanted and like stavros said, download the PokeRNG program developed by Wichu in the the first page it's much better than searching through those spreadsheets.
I searched on the program with delay between 488 and 10000, the right nature didn't come up (I'm looking for Mild, Quiet, Rash, Hasty) and that was even before factoring in gender -_-. Thanks for the help anyways...
