@Burning Sapphire, use a Treecko named Yggdrasil. It must know absorb, mega drain, or giga drain at all times. It must be a evolve immediatly after fighting Roxanne, and can only evolve into Sceptile if he drains Flannery's Torkoal of its energy. It has to be in a PC box when you fight Wallace. Hope you like it! :)

@bs get a lotad and name it Pinapple. Once it evolves you may only fight with it while there is an unhatched egg with you. Have fun!!
Edit: love your referance trogdor!
Edit2: actually it seemed a little unfare to give up one of your pokes for an egg so you have to have a poke that hatched from an egg in littleroot town.

zdrup15, on Platinum, if you can trade, take a Ralts. Name it "EasyVer.", and it must have a nature that boosts something (no neutral natures).*

Otherwise, just grab the first ghost pokemon you see. It must have at least one STAB move asap, and that is the only damaging move it can have. Evolve it when you feel like it. It must hold a berry other than Sitrus.

*I have a feeling Paradox said something about it being catchable in Pt, but i'm too lazy to search a million pages to find out. :P

@Burning Sapphire, take a Poochyena. It can only have special attacks until it evolves (at your leisure). As a Mightyena, it can only have physical attacks.

Yeah its catchable.

@SB take a Numel, name it Numa Numa, it must retain Magnitude till it evolves, it can only evolve after a max power Magnitude (10 I believe) on any pokemon in flannery's gym. It may not learn earthquake. You can use Eruption only if it is your only special move.

Burning Sapphire, you get a Medicham. Medicham is awesome because its ability gives it a massive Attack stat, so there's a catch: It can only have Special-based moves. It can't have Physical or Status-based moves. That basically restricts to Psychic and the three elemental punches (unless it has a Special-based Hidden Power type).
----
BL Fighter, take a Torkoal. It must learn Toxic via TM, and successfully solo one of Wallace's Pokémon. If it dies during the battle with Wallace, it must be deprived of any Fire-type moves it has and can't learn any more Fire-type moves.

@BL Fighter
an onix seems right for you. name it SolidSnake (it is called the "rock snake" pokemon afterall xD) Catch it in the oreburgh gate, and it can't evolve it unless it has the move Gyro ball. as a Steelix, it has to keep Gyroball and learn Thunderfang, and has to be used to take out 3 pokemon that belong to Candice.

Hey Paradox, onix isn't availble in Oreburgh Gate :/ I caught it in the Oreburgh Mines instead.

Also I want to start a Ruby Scramble. Must include a starter. and none of the mediocre stuff, preferably unusual pokemon. No trading.

Burning Sapphire, take a Grimer and name it Kryptonite. It must always know Rain Dance and use it as your first move against Wallace. If it's holding a Nugget when you catch it it can never evolve.

BL Fighter, take a Koffing named Superman. It must always know Sunny Day and use it as your first move against Flannery. If you don't catch one of the first two you see it may never evolve.

Edit: What exactly do you mean by "mediocre stuff", BL Fighter? Do you mean mediocre pokemon, because I'm sure Weezing would qualify. It is an unusual one.

Aren't the elemental punches physical? Tell me if I'm wrong

@BL Fighter aka Muffin:

Use a Sirskit. You have to have caught it on Route 102, and it can't evolve until it learns Haze and actually makes use of the move in game, ie reset the stats in a battle. It can never forget Haze. Call it Steen.

I meant dumb suicidal challenges Weezing is not bad, but kinda like the torkoal Senfroz gave me, i will try it though. I.E. also not wurmple and evos

@BL Fighter, take Plusle, but only if someone else gives you a Minun. Name it Positron. No further restrictions.

If no one gives you a Minum, take a Pikachu instead. Nickname PK-Thunder. It cannot evolve to Raichu, and must know Quick Attack, Thunderbolt, Double Team, and one other move by TM or HM (TM25 is not allowed). You may equip a Light Ball if you happen across one. Since Pikachu is the starter for Pokemon Yellow, he will also count as your starter for Ruby (you didn't say it had to be a Ruby starter :P )

BL Fighter, take a Whismur. It may evolve into Loudred if it has 4 Special attacks. It can evolve into Exploud if it is one of the two Pokemon to defeat Tate and Liza. It must know Flamethrower and Solarbeam (to go along with that Koffing), one normal move and another physical move by the E4. Name it Rebel Yell

@BL fighter
sorry about the onix mixup. i get the mines and the gate confused often.

take a Minun (hell yeah). name it Megatron. you have to use it in double battles at least 3 times with Positron.

If you think that's incredibly stupid then you're stuck with a bagon. you must catch it in meteor falls (no trading), and it can't evolve into mence. to evolve into Shellgon, it has to know double-edge, and 3 special moves. it may not forget any of these moves once it evolves. name it Shelly

These are fine guys, I will do the torkoal as well depending on the answer to this question, do I get slaves for surf and waterfall? My point is when we give people these challenges few people seem to check as to what the person is using leaving them in a rut for necessary HMs. Other than that I don't have a problem with any of these.

zdrup: if you can trade take an Armaldo that cannot learn moves with a BP over 60. If not take a Lopunny named Sluttyvoir that must learn Attract and Captivate.

Alright then, that was a misunderstanding on my part. I will do your torkoal as well.

~Torkoal. It must learn Toxic via TM, and successfully solo one of Wallace's Pokémon. If it dies during the battle with Wallace, it must be deprived of any Fire-type moves it has and can't learn any more Fire-type moves.

If rebel yell does get surf in 3rd gen I will be happy.

Exploud can't learn surf in 3rd gen (Why it can learn it in 4th gen is beyond me). it can instead learn water pulse.

if using both a minun and plusle is too hard you can swap out minun for the bagon i gave you. if you can manage GO FOR IT~

ha-ha I will live, the HM thing was the only thing worrying me, outside of my friends Surskit.

I'm gonna play through Emerald and Colosseum, and would like to try this. No trades, no excessive grinding, both teams must have a sleeper (Need to finish my pokedex before 5th gen), and Emerald must have a False Swiper. With that in mind, I want the craziest, wackiest Pokemon you can think of :)
