Hmm, I think B is right. It does look like a water flower. It has the tentacle-like roots as feet... Here's to Grass/Water?
 
That fake scan looks mighty real, imo. Unlike the fake scan before it where once we got a clear shot the artwork was clearly not official (The recent fake scan's artwork actually looks like Sugimori art) and I've never seen the screenshot of the main character fishing before either. Regarding the in battle screens, someone could have edited previously released pictures... Even though the Swan has a craptastic ability, and Mamambo needs to be a Luvdisc evolution.

The page layout is done differently, and I don't see why they would give Shikijika two different spaces to explain it's seasonal effects (Color changes + "evolution").

What a well done fake indeed. Who confirmed in fake? Anons @ 2ch? lol

it looks like a Flower Bulb to me, but a Water Plant also seems likely. it will obviously have an evo, and personally I think it looks really cool. I'm looking forward to how this guy plays out.

also. those fake scans... those guys are good. I loved that new Magikarp. like, a LOT. I'm disappointed that it's not real.
 
@ Unown Tsutaja It's what serebii is calling the "Plant-Owl," and I really don't know what to think of it, I wish there was a clearer image. It looks kinda like a cactus to me.

I stopped reading the topic after this. What page for Mamambou? From the same pamphlet Gigaias and Emonga are from? Or is it that second very convincing fake with the depressed hipster fish on it?

This was discussed a while back, and yes, it is considered quite likely they are related due to the tusks, horn and eyes. I think it may be this gen's pseudo-leg. and maybe Dragon or Dragon/Dark. Hopefully it won't go to Ubers though...
 
Flying Squirrel is awesome. It's also going to get Roost, which nullifies it's Rock and Ice weaknesses (Ignoring the double Ground weakness since the opponent is going to have to have awesome predicition to scout for it). Hopefully it breaks the token Electric Rodent mold and is actually usable competively. Either way, still cool.

But nearly ALL Grass types have SpA and Atk that are both high. I checked one day.

Victreebel, Carnivine, Tangrowth, Shiftry, Celebi, Shaymin and Exeggutor all have SpA and Atk over or around Base 100. On the lesser scale we have Venusaur and Abomasnow around Base 80 for one or the other. The fact that most can now use both has the potential to be a big boost for Grass types competitively. Most of those Grass types have awesome Movepools as well.

The flying squirrel can't be related to Pachirisu. With that aside, I just hope the thing's stats aren't as bad as Pachi's. A new Electric/Flying would be interesting. Most likely not as good as Zapdos though...

Also, guys, back when everyone was speculating the new worms type has Bug/Grass which has only been done with Parasect/Paras. Well, Wormadam is Grass/Bug in its Grass Cloak >_> Everyone forgets about Gen4.
 
When id that fake Corocoro scan come out? It looks hialrious, especially wih Mamanbou's horribly distorted eyes xD

If all of these kind of posts are correct, then Rankurusu has almost no Attack and really, really low Special Attack, with very high Defense and good Special Defense... And virtually no Speed?

Something tells me he'll evolve along with Gothloli, because those aren't very good stats.

while it does have a poor attack stat 86-125 special attack is good 42-71 does not constitute very high defense
for refrence stat spreads are read HP/Atk/Def/SpAtk/SpDef/Speed

Right, because having the same color scheme, primary typing, mouth, cheeks, and markings on the head means it can't possibly be related.

Doesn't have the same color scheme at all, lots of things have electric as primary type (are there secondary electrics?), note that the mouth lacks Pachi's fang which is kind of important, the cheecks are a Pikaclone constant, markings on the head don't match pachi at all

If that were true it would make sense for Geodude to evolve into Onix (I used to actually think that...). And since when did Trapinch look anything like Vibrava, for example?
