Not to burst your guys' bubbles, but I think it would be ridiculously unfair to other pokemon if Slaking or Regigigas had an ability that did not reduce their capabilities. They would both have to be banned from OU for being too good. Imagine a faster, bulkier Snorlax that already has a curse but no speed drop. Yah, that's never going to happen.

That's why both my suggestions were for Regigigas to still be nerfed by its abilities, only... not that much ~__~

Guys, farfetch'd was in the third trailer. pause at like 2:27, he's in the dudes roster. I think he's actually getting one. Of all pokes, they put a farfetch'd?! Pretty fishy

Wait what which trailer?

Yeah. I'd say it's almost...

far-fetched.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH

@Baldafor: Better to have something usable in Ubers than not usable at all.

It's not so much Flareon's BST but it's stat distribution that's always been whacked for its typing.
BUT, with its attack a great new ability or move, like powerful Fire type priority, could make it useful.

Steel gets a bad rap as an offensive type but it's not totally useless.
It's only bad STAB for most of the things that currently have a secondary Steel typing.
However, three of its four resists are hit SE by Ground attacks while Ground's resists are hit neutrally by Steel.
While some dual types slip through the coverage net, Ground/Steel is quite a usable combo offensively.

I'm half-expecting them to just swap abilities if you get them in the dream world. How would Slow Start Slaking and Truant Regigigas fare? Hm.

Wow, Doryuuzu's sprite looks so cool in motion. :D

Also, I'm not sure Farfetch'd being there means anything. I mean, there's also Sentret, Growlithe, Togepi, Pikachu, and Miltank.

@ Scicky: There's something to be said for defensive prowess. Look at Heatran. He may not have STAB Earth Power, but the Steel-type grants him some amazing resistances. I'd take pseudo STAB (Sand Power) + great resistances over double STAB + shitty typing any day (Ground/Steel vs. Ground/Rock).

There are a lot more pokémon that would be better if their abilities were better: Sableye (Wonder Guard!!!), Whishcash, Wigglytuff, Meganium, Jynx, etc., should get something to take advantage of.

Also, there should have Sp.ATK versions of Guts and Pure Power.

Wait what which trailer?

Seriously guys what trailer?

Anyway regigigas is far from terrible; you just have to eliminate fighting type move users and there you go, sub stall your way to victory (for uu I mean)

Slow start Slaking would be evil; remember that regigigas has no recovery moves... not even protect

It'd go something like this: Protect, Rest, sleep, sleep, Protect, sweeeeeeep

He doesn't even really need to rest, he's got SLACK OFF. And his defenses aren't bad <___< (K his Sp. Def is pretty bad but yeah)

Yeah, USABLE, but completely overshadowed by Ground/Rock, since rock hits ice for SE too, and scores SE on flying types.

True, but if you have Steel and Ground STAB it might be worth considering since the base power of your Steel attacks goes up and in Doryuuzu case it could get double STAB on Steel.

In the trailer, it's pointless to point out farfetch'd because there is a miltank, togepi, growlithe, and either a quilfish or a poliwag/whirl (I really can't tell, but I'd guess poliwhirl because it's apparently very important in japan)

I just check the official jp site and the other main info sites I wander around for vids.

pldh, serebii, pokebeach, pokejungle, pokestation

What is the section at 2:21 onwards showcasing anyway?
They're still on the Pokemon Global Link Website but it seems like a different section with speech bubbles.
Then it goes to some kind of status screen with Farfetch'd, Togepi etc.

Reading this thread gives me a headache. It's 99% trolling and pure stupidity. (And I'm aware of the irony of me posting purely to complain about other people trolling)

Great for you,but back on topic

Slaking has the highest non Legendary bast attack stat uot their,so I think it would definatley need a ability like Slack off.

Isn't it just fucking hilarious how you make up the 98.9% of it?
Whatevz. @Skylar56- Yes it does, I wish it got an ability like this: Rising Star- Raises speed when hit by a fighting move. How about it? :3

It sounds like a good ability,or a ability called Motivated, where it still takes some turns off,but the less health it has,the more likely it does something.
