Eh, it .NET won't install on 64 bits pc's (or so says my comp) and I am able to run pokeRNG just fine without it =/
The excel spreads, I believe show method 1, but you just use the same seed and choose method J when you use the seed in RNG reporter. You make sure you have the synch that matches the nature of your catch, and you should find that your wanted IV spread is on more than one frame instead of just the one it was on before in method 1. Each new frame you find it on has it's own encounter slot for wild pokemon encounters. Right click to see them.
?use the same seed and choose method J when you use the seed in RNG reporter.
Well, I don't really use excel spread sheet seeds, but one of those columns are hex numbers which are seeds. It should say at the top of the columns. It's probably the first column.
No frame exists for some Method J catches. So yes, it's best to have a synch until you get more familar with RNG.
@zerohorus if you headbutt a tree and you get no pokemon, then you will never get a pokemon from this tree, if you do get one, you will always a pokemon out of it. so before you SR to your result, find a tree which you can headbutt and get a pokemon from it ^^
You still need to tick the box, I believe, or the calculations may not work right, because you'll get a seed for DPPt instead of for HGSS. Just leave the SID OT boxes blank.
mmk thanks. i tried that last night and didn't get the right nature...but i'll give it another shot tonight.
All right, well, try putting the wrong SID in the SID box. Also, make sure you have the right gender ratio for your baby pokemon (because maybe that's why you had the nature problem last night).
with no ID and no SID, i get the wrong nature. with ID and no SID, i still get the wrong nature. i'll try inputting an incorrect SID and see if that works. if not...i just don't want a shiny bronzong ;____; is it just beyond RNGReporter? should i try something else?
Sometimes Egg frames skips on me. Are you sure that the nature your getting is not in the delay you landed on? Maybe you are using international parents? International parents dont always have to be japanese. :)
All right, this is what you do instead. You RNG for a shiny, but you hit an adjacent seed. You copy adjacent seed to clipboard, put seed into seed(hex) main window. Generate using international parents. Look down the generated list and hope to see a right nature ability pokemon on the list with a low odd frame. If yes, put parents in daycare and do the IRNG advancements. If fail, try again and check the adjacent delay you hit for a good IRNG frame.
Does the link seem to be broken? I can upload it to Mediafire if you like.
Rocket Boss Giovanni said:How many frames would the following actions advance the RNG, assuming I am one square away, facing the entrance/ladder?
- Entering Ho-oh's rooftop via the ladder
- Entering Lugia's cavern via the cave door
- Surfing on the water in Lugia's cavern
- Walking up to Ho-oh on it's rooftop
