XUnluckyBlackCatX:

My description for Life Orb reads, in part:
Whenever the holder uses a damaging attack and hits at least one non-holder at least once with that attack, the holder loses 1/10 of total HP at the end of that attack
Even if a Pokemon with 1 HP uses Endure, the attacker will lose 1/10 of total HP; the attack need not have caused the opponent to lose HP, it must only have succeeded against it. My glossary entry for "Hit a Pokemon with a damaging attack reads, in part:
Hit a Pokémon with a damaging attack
This means that the Pokémon is successfully affected by a damaging move by its user. The attack will usually reduce the Pokémon's HP, but in certain cases, it may fail to do so. An attack doesn't fail if an attack would deal 0 damage only because a Pokemon's HP is prevented from being reduced to 0 (for example, if the Pokémon used Endure or has the Focus Band attached, or if the attack is False Swipe)....

in game? well, it doesnt really learn many fire attacks, and the others it gets are physical moves, I would go with adamant or jolly, or pretty much anything -SpA, since you need both defenses in game

no, but it only learns 1 fire attack until level forty something. Otherwise all its moves are normal

How do you determine what Hidden Power a Pokemon has in 2nd Gen?

EDIT: NVM. I figured out how. But how do I find a Pikachu with HP Fire? It has something to do with DV's, but what are they?

it doesnt? Never mind, just keep testing it on whatever until you find out what type it is, rinse, and repeat

how does the game decide which moves to forget if a poke learns a move in a daycare?

The move that's listed first is forgotten.

eg. you have Lapras in daycare with the moves

- Water Gun
- Protect
- Toxic
- Heal Bell

When Lapras learns a new move (Perish Song) it will forget Water Gun.

Let's say I have a Hariyama who has used Belly Drum to crank his Attack to +6, then Hariyama uses Rest. Would Guts kick in and effectively boost Hariyama's Attack to +7?

...you mean I'm going to have to re-breed? I'd just leave the EV's as is and switch positions and change Trick for Bullet Punch

Ooh yeah VaporenIce is right, I'm sorry. I couldn't find good information on Kelpsy Berry. I can Pokésav but that's all I can do to help. you can always go here and ask if somebody has one, which they probably will considering it's a Smogon set, or somebody will clone it for you

I've got a Dratini I was planning on making a regular Anti-lead Dragonite with, but it doesn't have ES. Any suggestions on what to replace it with? I'll be teaching him Waterfall over EQ due to the sheer number of EQ users I already have, if it makes a difference.

So I have a question.. Clefable in FR/LG can learn Softboiled by the tutor.. but it only has 1 ability. Cute Charm

So I was wondering if there is any way to get Softboiled on a Magic Guard Clefable.
