If my usual delay is 634, and I use a GBA game (which always switches things from even to odd), do I want to use a delay of 633?
for Pokemon with set genders it doesn't mater you can ignore the gender ratios on the spread you want and still use it to catch that Pokemon. To capture Jynx, do we need a seed that lists female for all gender ratios, or will a jynx show up if an encounter slot is available for Jynx and even on of the gender ratios is listed as female. For example I have one seed with gender ratio listed M M M F. Will this seed allow me to get a jynx on a frame with an encounter slot that usually gives a Jynx?

I think you should use 635. I haven't tried putting GBA yet but it makes sense that it adds 1 instead of decreasing it because of the additional time to load it.
Now here's a tricky question: If I use a spread with the delay of 634, since I can't hit usually hit 635, when I verify my seed, will it show I've hit 635 or 634?
Just change the year.
The point was he had a gba game in it already and he needed it in so a poke would appear in the wild.Well, your average is 634, if you put the 3rd gen game it will shift either to 635 or 633 - which are both reachable with a few tries.
If change the year to 2011, the delay will drop to 633. 2009 - 635.
Say you want 635. Put that in wanted delay in pikatimer and use the 3 gen game. Easy as that.
Hey guys, I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong, because something baffling just happened to me.
I'm trying to get a Careful 31/31/31/7/31/31 Pupitar in Mt Silver (3rd Floor), so I hit my seed, advanced the frames, and promptly caught a Misdreavus with that same spread. The thing is, Misdreavus has encounter slots of 0 and 2, where Pupitar has an encounter slot of 6. Also, none of the frames near my target frame even has a Sweet Scent encounter slot of 0 or 2, so I don't see how I got a Misdreavus...
Any help is very welcome!
Edit: I just ran into a wild Sneasel as well, which means Serebii is lying to me. It says you can't get Sneasel on 3F, which means I'm either not on 3F or their encounter rates are wrong...
I'm just going to try again, but with a different frame, since Larvitar is on all parts of Mt Silver with encounter slots of 9 and 11. I have a frame with encounter slot 11, so I should be good. I'm just confused.
Its actually a lot easier. The difference is really that the frame is typically easier to control and the delays and frames tend to be higher. You don't have to hatch your egg to calibrate the frame which makes it a lot faster. So I've recently "mastered" RNG breeding. I want to take a crack at doing RNG Captures but I wanted to know if there's a huge difference?
I won't be doing it anytime soon but I just wanted to get an idea. :)
I did everything correctly, I'm not that dumb...
