Maybe it's based on Adam and Eve. The snake originally had arms and legs, but lost them after tempting Eve. Smugleaf loses his limbs as he evolves, so I thought it may be based off it, and have a grass/dark typing.

Could be, but that would be more christian and not european. Also, wasn´t losing their legs for real a step in snake´s evolution?
 
i always did prefer the water starters (except for when it came between mudkip and treecko, sceptile looks cooler than swampert) but i don't really like mijimaru, it just looks stupid, its supposed final evolution has practically no physical relation to mijimaru not to mention it don't look fast... a samurai would definitely be cooler than... that thing...

I hope the real Miju3 is more like this. Samurai otter with beard, and katana (Helmet is not mandatory).

Either way, I dunno what to believe anymore. x_x Come on CoroCoro... All this random ~confirmed~ info crap from Serebii, Melkor, Experto, and whoever else is just getting ridiculously stupid.

I sincerly hope that those weren't Lv 50 stats, although chances are they were. If they weren't, then you can disregard everything I've said. :P

Otherwise, I'm forced to say that Rankarusu does /not/ have good defenses, it has about the same defenses as Clefable, except maybe a little lower, and with a significant type disadvantage. Thankfully, it has better SpA and a better STAB than Clefable, so it could /possibly/ make use of a Life Orb set to a degree of success. But being outsped by Tyranitar and Scizor must be a real kick in the teeth.

maybe there won't be water grass and fire starters, maybe there will be dragon, steel, and ice starters. it's a conspiracy!

I'm sorry if this question has already been asked, but does anyone know how the B&W integration process will work? Will there be a list were people may find the new pokemon/abilities/items? Thanks.
 
This will be the longest week. Soo many rumors, soo many speculation, and to make matters worse we have an interview that could either confirm or deny the starters.
 
I actually could see the Water starter wielding a 'shell katana' for a weapon. You can't say no pokemon has a weapon. But then again a pokemon with a weapon does sound digimon-esque. Although they could somehow have the 'katana' attached to its arm or something. Meh, I dunno.

This wait is killing my brain.
 
Assuming most of the stuff released so far is true, there seems to be a large amount of grass Pokemon this generation. I find that interesting. Normally its water Pokemon each generation is drowning in (pun not intended).

Hopefully we'll get more than a few that can take advantage of the type properly.

Nothing that isn't a rumor, no.

By next week a real ROM will probably leak and will be cracked the same day giving us all the info we want.

How shoddy will function is a good question as it'll require a good amount of translation.
