The Melkor Files (insert cheesy music)

608: Ghost Lamp Pokémon. Ghost / Fire Type. Fanart by Hiro:

I think the general consensus was it needs to watch out for Steel-types, depending on its movepool, but the typing itself was welcome (no x4 Ice weakness!).
Interestingly Ghost/Fire and Dark/Dragon cover each other pretty well. I know who's going on my team!
huh, never made the connection. that might work out well!

usually, the dragons would have fire blast or at least flamethrower, i understand that won't stop the likes of steelix (if it drops that low (unlikely)) but still.

The candle Pokemon is one of the cutest things I've ever seen in Pokemon, but the evo looks weird. I like the concept but it's just a bit bland

So when you guys actually get your hands on this game, are you going to play it for the aesthetic or the competitive aspect of it? I don't know about you guys, but since there isn't enough competitive information to go around the Black/White Pokemon, I'm going with what looks good and what not. Kind of like what I did when I ran a team of Drifblim and Mesprit and some other arbitrary mixes of OU and UU pokemon.

That deer is SO going on my team just because of the Winter form.

Definitely going to use what looks and feels good.

I'm completing my first ever play through of Platinum right now, and one thing that is annoying me is choosing my team to beat the Elite 4. I'm trying to get a nice balance, and I'd love to be able to use Azumarill as my obligatory water type, but I have a Tentacruel that is better even though I much prefer the Azumarill. I have a spare slot, which I'm filling with Lucario, who is powerful but looks lame in my opinion. And I have Giratina on there, who I don't really like, but is a brick wall who can take hits while I waste his turns using Hyper Potions on everyone else.

So half of my team looks like shit, which really annoys me. When I get Black or White (Really don't know which, I think both the legendaries look incredible.) I'm going to train up what looks good. I'd rather be using pokemon that I like, rather than ones I hate but do the job better. Part of me is tempted to wait for Grey and get the extra story stuff and legendary(s).

Although not if it is that stupid thing people keep posting with the rudd on it's head.

I actually really like the candle evo, but not so much the candle. That thing is awesome. The silhouette could be a polar bear, but its snout is awfully acute. Either way, it looks pretty cool, I hope it gets a cool ability.

Melkor Strikes Back (obligatory lame joke)

609: Ghost Candelabra Pokémon. A candelabra with a main bulb and four arms ending in purple flames. Fire / Ghost Type.

610: Kibago.
611: Kibago Evo. Like Kibago but with longer horns and tail, and bigger. Green on top, grey on bottom.
612: Ononokusu.

Pure Dragons.

So the polar bear will coming up next? Cool, I have been waiting to see this one.

I wonder if that silhouette is for the first or second stage.

I forget, have any of the silhouettes melkor's released been revealed formally, after he's revealed them? I want to beleive all his stuff XD

If random battles followed the PBR rules, and we got Arceus of non-lvl100, which sets are you guys going to use the most?

Personally, in

SINGLES: ExtremeKiller
DOUBLES: CBCeus maybe?
TRIPLES: Have not even't thought about this but I think I am going to start playing triples as my main meta once I get a hold of BW in KOR version.
