Regarding the inability to choose where to go, what is the Japanese BW Wiki saying? You're correct, after five of these areas are unlocked it's going to suck.

Also, are the minigames different in the Sky World?
I wish they were, but no, same minigames.

Anyway, do we even have any indication that there are more than three areas now or that there will be in the future? Normally I would think it's a safe assumption since Nintendo seems to want people to keep coming back to this thing, but considering we only see three different backgrounds in the hide-and-seek games and that they created such a small selection of minigames, I'm not so sure how much they bothered with the areas themselves. ...though I guess they could just recycle backgrounds and unlock a Forest Two and so on. I'd laugh if that's how they handled it. :P

Hey, I have a little problem right now. I added quite a lot of people´s FCs today and met some of them on Wifi(at least they aren´t grayed out in my book). Still, after entering DW, I can´t visit any of them...(the people in question are Jiggy and Seinaru)

It's possible that areas beyond the first three might have new minigames, or at least different versions of some of them.

Regarding the inability to choose where to go, what is the Japanese BW Wiki saying?

This is what it has to say:

マップはエリア毎に2~3パターン(7マスx7マス)あり、基本的にランダムで選択される。

"There is a pattern of 2-3 maps per area (7x7), and they are chosen at random"... is my translation, but I might not have gotten it right.

From the wording it sounds like you might be able to choose a general area of 2-3 maps and from there it's chosen at random?

Anyways I agree with Jiggy, there are probably only 3 areas out right now lol.

When you first friend someone you can't visit their house until both people have game synced... I just did so so if you still have time left you can access my house now. Or if not you'll be able to tomorrow.

The list of Sea Stage Pokemon has expanded:

Slowpoke with Regeneration
Magikarp with Self-Conscious
Omanyte with Breakable Armor
Qwilfish with Intimidate
Mantyne with Water Veil
Carvanha with Speed Boost
Wailmer with Pressure
Finneon with Water Veil

If you evolve Self-Conscious Magikarp in turns into Overconfidence Gyrados. Still no idea what their moves are.

Slowpoke and Carvanha make me quite happy. I got my female Slip Through Zubat last night. I'm still not sure just how useful that ability is. If it can bypass all the amazing new uses of Mirror Coat (and the ability Magic Mirror) then I might have to use it. Taunting a Magic Mirror Espeon/Xatu would be priceless.

I'm going to Wi-Fi idle all day while I'm at work, so if you need to register me go for it ^^.

Today's haul.

Ill check it when Im out of school.

Ok,
I seem to have messed up the 9 and 8
my actual fc is:
4985-1047-2699

As opposed to the wrong fc which was:
4895-1047-2699

Thanks for your time guys, sorry about this :P

I'll add you once I'm done homework.

Thanks for the responses you all, I'm trying to vicariously live through you because I'm envious :P

Ra1d, I saw you on Wifi.

Finally back home for a day! Just been to dream world and here's today's collection. Nothing too exciting, I am still in the forest.

I am going to go into the wifi room for a while this evening for anyone that still hasn't got me in the pal pad.
:)

Found out something interesting. Apparently someone ran into a herbivore Maril in the forest. Right now the theory is he's unlocked by having a certain number of points. Perhaps there are even more pokemon that are unlocked through score?

His special move is Ice Punch. Remoraid and Slowpoke get Brine (Gen IV TM). Still no word on Hoppip's exclusive move in the Sky stage. Apparently you can find Seaking separately from Goldeen, meaning it'll most likely have a different special move. Ability is the same on both. This info is from the Japanese BW wiki.

Did someone try to do something with me while I was Wi-Fi idling? lol. I came home to an error message.

How are you guys getting that many pokes?
I only see around 7 (and i go back to my house, etc...)

Usually i only see pokemon in the first two runs

And also, sorry for posting this here, if its been said before,

but how do you visit your friends? I have some names up here, but dont know how to visit them. :X

If you get lucky you can see pokemon up to your 4th or 5th run... but on average it seems to be your 2nd or 3rd run...

Um, I can't remember the exact wording, but to view your friends' houses in the DW click on the ゲームフレンド button on the top left of the screen that has your house on it. It will bring up a screen that looks like this picture I stole from another post in the thread. And if you have more than 5 friends, click on the button circled in that image to view all your friends.

Catching up with three days of stuff:

I've bolded the ones that I think haven't been reported yet... It's getting hard to keep track. I left in a few extra things in my list just in case.

Female Zubat (Hypnosis)
Female Hoothoot (Foresight)
Female Delibird (Focus Punch - third-gen/fourth-gen TM)
Male Yanma (Giga Drain - third-gen/fourth-gen TM)
Male Gligar (Tailwind)
Male Butterfree (Air Cutter - tutor)
Male Pidgey (Secret Power - third-gen/fourth-gen TM)
Male and (further down) female Aerodactyl (Stealth Rock - fourth-gen TM)
Female and (further down) male Staravia (Featherdance)
Male Taillow (Endure - fourth-gen TM)
Female Spearow (Faint Attack)
Female Hoppip (Synthesis)
Male Zubat (Super Fang - tutor)
Female Hoppip (Encore)

You know, the sky just feels so slim on Pokemon compared to the forest, which sure isn't helped by the repeat appearances of Taillow and Hoppip. I've been there for such a short time, but already I think I'm only missing Butterfree, Delibird, Hoothoot, Ledyba, Murkrow, Yanma, and Zubat... That's only three more than I'm still missing from the forest itself. I mean, I wasn't expecting Salamence or Dragonite or something crazy like that (hoping, but not expecting), but they could have at least rounded out the selection with Pokemon like Natu, Skarmory, Drifloon, and Wingull up here.

Another update from the wiki -- w00t.

There was a couple missing pokemon from the sea stage:

Clampearl with Self-Conscious (evolves into Water Veil Huntail or Hydration Gorebyss)
Corsola with Regeneration

Magikarp's exclusive move is Bounce (lol), Qwilfish's is Secret Power, Corsola's is Stealth Rock, Clampearl's is Captivate.

BTW Jiggy, Wingull is in the Sky Stage. Ran into him last night as a matter of fact. Funny thing is, he doesn't challenge you to the Pelipper game. There's 16 known pokemon for the sky stage, compared to the Forest's 24 (not counting Maril). Matter of fact, there's already 21 known Sea Stage pokemon, and that list may not even be finished.

A very meagre evening in the forest for me :(

I did get another row for berries though so that was a good point!

I chose the Mareep with Reflect to send back to the High Link.

What are you talking about? That means that Bounce Gyarados is legal with it's Dream World ability!!That's amazing news.

Off-topic, but the OP really needs to be updated. It gets really hard when building a team to find out what has been released, since Sky and Ocean Areas and stuff like Female Harvest Exeggcute are not in the OP.

Just something I thought I'd throw out.

Just got my DW Arceus, its password is さばきのつぶて (Judgment) and its special move is rofl Hyper Beam.

...Man, I could swear they'd promised we'd get the top 3 pokémon in the poll... Well whatever, at least I can SR for a shiny Arceus now...

People really voted for a pokemon without a Dream World ability :\.

DWCeus gets... Hyper Beam?

Troll Freak strikes again!

Um, at least you can EV it without needing the Feathers? And it gives those of us who figured Farceus wasn't worth SRing for due to the Hall of Origin Arceus that was CERTAINLY coming something decent to SR for...

I blame Japanese 10-year-olds.

No, people voted for an elusive, popular, event Pokemon.

This is the second time Arceus has been given away.

edit: Also the voting has been going since, jeez, even before the games released?
