Now I have 5 pokemon in my scramble challenge. The only one left is my starter. Whoever does the starter gets to name the trainer too.
And with that, it's my (0.)1k post. Thanks guys for being awesome, and I put off a LOT of bad warstory trolling/critisizing to make this post. See ya in 900 posts!Evil X, you get what I was going to give to Random.
You get "Snookums" the Timid Whismar (excuse for spelling)! As a Whismar, it is afraid of everything, especially entering battle with other people. Due to this he/she is unsure of his special skills and is too scared to find out about them! In fact, it's especially afraid of loud sounds; it hurts his/her poor little ears. However, one day Snookums evolves, and decides it’s not afraid to enter battle now! As he/she trains to get stronger, Loudrod builds confidence in himself, and when he evolves again, he is able to use his special skills. In fact, it loves them SO much, Exploud won't use anything but them! Sadly though, Snookums' fear of sound turns out to be a life long phobia, as such he/she will forever remain to be scared of them...
Recap:
Good Luck!
- Get a Timid Whismar, NN Snookums
- As a Whismar: Can’t use STAB, can’t use or be hit by sound based moves (if you do get hit, you must ether switch out or use a healing item), cant enter trainer battles.
- As a Loudrod: Can’t use or be hit by sound based moves, can’t use STAB.
- As an Exploud: Can only use STAB moves, Cant use or be hit by sound based moves.
Ha ha, no props! Go nuts....Even though it will probably be rejected, I'll reserve anyway. :P
This requirement is stuffed up by Atheno's challenge. Cynthia's Garchomp is supposed to survive a (I'll assume) high powered Outrage? That's probably not going to happen. Fix this in some way or I'll regect the challenge.iggdrasil, take a cranidos it can only evolve into rampardos by soloing maylene's lucario, after which it must land the ko on the e4 and cynthia's main pokemon. To get the skull fossil your id number must end with an odd number.
FWIW, the Outrage move tutor in Platinum is in the Survival Area, which you can access after defeating the E4 at least once. And so you take him to a move tutor, to teach him to properly vent his Outrage, and he finally gets over his problem by using Outrage against his only equal in Sinnoh: Cynthia's Garchomp. At this point, he has no more restrictions.
ok heres your surferI'm gonna start an emerald scramble.
Rules:
-No trading
-No forced grinding
-I need fly =P
aron cant learn surf. Aggron can, however since it must solo juan to become aggron, there wont be a surf before juan which is impossible.BlocksRcool, take an Aron. It must learn and keep the move Surf as soon as you get it. It may never know any physical moves, and thus, it cannot have any STAB moves. Its final moveset must be Dragon Claw/Surf/Thunderbolt/Protect. It may never be the lowest level Pokemon of your party. To evolve to Lairon, it must KO at least one Pokemon of Brawly, Wattson and Flannery. To evolve to Lairon, it must solo Juan OR must solo your rival in every battle after Aron is caught. It must KO at least six of E4 Pokemon (including the champion), two of which must be from Drake's team. Nickname it whatever you want.
Soloing Juan was optional, as Aron could have soloed Brendan/May every time, and the last Rival battle in Emerald is at Lilycove. Removed it anyway.aron cant learn surf. Aggron can, however since it must solo juan to become aggron, there wont be a surf before juan which is impossible.
Sorry for double post.
I know, but generally Platinum Scrambles finish by defeating Cynthia the second time, and then by finishing the rest of the storyline. Also, I have never heard FWIW before. Explain?FWIW, the Outrage move tutor in Platinum is in the Survival Area, which you can access after defeating the E4 at least once.
I second that. I didn't want to sound like an internet noob asking it, but I guess I'm not alone. (No, I'm not calling you a noob Atheno :p)Also, I have never heard FWIW before. Explain?
It's an acronym meaning "For what it's worth".I second that. I didn't want to sound like an internet noob asking it, but I guess I'm not alone. (No, I'm not calling you a noob Atheno :p)
OK, you get Joe the torchic. The reason it's called Joe is Blaziken, in the 4th gen anyway, is just considered average compared to Infernape. This torchic, however, has a burning desire to see that changed. It wants to prove that it can be better than Infernape, so it must solo any and all pokemon that are weak to fire or fighting, and it must have one of both of these moves at all times. On top of that, it must solo any chimchar/evo that it sees. (start with a turtwig, so your rival will have chimchar) It must solo your rival's chimchar every time. To evolve it must prove to itself that it can beat chimchar, by defeating your rival's chimchar. Then to evolve to Blaziken it must prove itself against something that is usualy called a hard-counter to itself(i.e. a bulky water type at full evo.), as well as beating your rival's chimchar/evo. 3 more times. Re-nickname it "Master." Now that it has evolved, it steels itself for its final challenge, so it must learn and keep Bulk Up as well. The final challenge will be to solo your rival completely on the final match up before the E4, and solo the Fire Type E4.
HotDave, I'm giving you a bad ass, and useful, HM slave. It is the most bad ass of all HM slaves you will ever encounter!
It must learn only HM moves when it's possible to teach it HMs (pre-evolved it can learn Surf, Strength, Rock Smash, and Waterfall. After evolution it can learn Rock Climb). It must also be the highest level Pokemon in your party at all times. (edited to be a bit more fair)
*edit* Saw you had a nickname requirement. Nickname it Aspirin, because it's going to need a lot of it.
You get Will the Drifloon.
He must be male. To show off his vast masculinity, Will can only use physical moves (status moves are fine too). Once the Fly HM is obtained and once he has evolved into Drifblim, he must be taught the move. Once you get Blackglasses from Celestic Town, he must be equipped with them.
@HotDave: Take a Meditite named Broken. Your Meditite has mad skills when it comes to fighting, but it is mad that Medicham is NU. Your rival, named Eo, is one of the greatest OU battlers ever; for this, Broken hates him. Broken must KO three of his Pokemon every time you fight him after you get Broken (I don't know how many times this is). Broken must learn at least one HM move to show its superiority (it rocks with bad moves), and it must learn one STAB move of each type. It sympathizes with its NU brethren and may not even attack any Pokemon in the Elite Four that is in NU as of the most recent Gen IV tier list. However, it must KO every Pokemon in the Elite Four that is in the OU tier. It must also solo Cynthia's Garchomp.
@Hotdave: You get Boxer the (male) Duskull. This Duskull has seen Fighter so many times and has watched WWE for so many years that he HAS to be a fighter. It has to punch everything into the ground. Teach it Shadow Punch and any other elemental punch of your choice. Its nature determines it's next move
+Atk- Earthquake
+Def- Will-o-wisp
+SpAtk- Night Shade
+SpDef- Substitute
+Spd- Shadow Sneak
Neutral- Confuse Ray
To evolve into a Dusclops, it must solo Maylene. It has to evolve into Dusknoir after defeating Iron Island but before beating Byron.
You get Dancer the Cacturne. It must know the on-site Evasive Subseed moveset (You will need a Heart Scale for Leech Seed). Have it solo Bertha (2nd Round).
Accepted. Care to give him a NN?Okay then, your challenge is that Gible is an angry Gible. His rage is such that it needs to be vented at least once per gym, and so he needs to finish a Pokemon in each gym, of which at least 6 must be owned by leaders and 4 must be the main Pokemon of the leader, with Dragon Rage. However, after this he finds that he can cool down by Surfing, which means that he can only do it outside of gyms, unless he has already done his Dragon Rage KO for that gym. Over the course of the game, however, his rage builds, until he finds he needs to solo one Pokemon from each trainer in the Pokemon league with Dragon Rage just to cool down. And so you take him to a move tutor, to teach him to properly vent his Outrage, and he finally gets over his problem by using Outrage against his only equal in Sinnoh: Cynthia's Garchomp. At this point, he has no more restrictions.
Hmmm... I think I will have fun with this :p. Accepted. How cruel of you, your Gible when you caught it, was taken away from his Rocky buddy, Pile the Geodude. The poor thing saw his pal get caught in front of his eyes! Catch him in the same location as Gible, & the distress of the capture has got to him so much, that he cannot be used in battle until Gible evolves...Then see sees his pal evolve & wants to evolve too, & in that time, you may not use anyone else until he evolves into Graveler. From that point onwards, he must appear in every battle that Gible appears in and vice versa, because they're best friends, & in 2v2 battles, if one's on the field, the other must come on the field. Ultimately, Pile must solo 2 of Flint's Pokemon & Cynthia's Spiritomb.
Have fun, even though you'll be likely to...
Thanks to being clarified, Accepted. Currently planing how to beat Lucario without grinding...iggdrasil, take a cranidos it can only evolve into rampardos by soloing maylene's lucario, after which it must land the ko on the e4 and cynthia's main pokemon. To get the skull fossil your id number must end with an odd number.
Accepted. You kinna did give me a nickname, or the insparation for one. He/she'll be called "WHUT?!" (whatever u want)Iggdrasil, you get a Budew. This Budew must be caught before your second rival battle, and must KO your rival's Starly every time you meet him. It must evolve to Roselia whenever, but you must teach it Toxic Spikes as soon as it evolves, and it must set up two layers of TS in every Rival/Gym Leader/Galactic Boss battle after it learns it. You can evolve it to Roserade if it can KO two of Candice's Pokemon OR solo Saturn in the Galactic Headquarters. As a Roserade, it no longer needs to set up TS in every battle, but must keep it, and set it up in the battle against Cynthia, where it must be your lead Pokemon. It must have Toxic Spikes, Petal Dance, Synthesis and any other physical move. Nickname it whatever you want, I'm not good with NNs anyway.
Accepted. EDIT: Rolled a 1.Reserving Iggdrasil's starter
You get twigster the Turtwig. You MUST roll a dice BEFORE you get twigster to see what is gonna be your challenge.
If you get 1: You can only use 1 attacking move per battle. You can switch out to reset your attacking move. Can't be used against Roark or Volkner. Solo 2 of the following gym leaders/ elite 4/ galactic executive of your choice: Maylene, Gardenia, Byron, Candice, Aaron, Flint, Lucian, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn.
If you get 2: You must solo Gardenia to evolve to Grotle and you must solo two Team Galactic executive (or one executive and the boss) of your choice every time you fight them. If you choose Mars and/or Jupiter, the battle on top of Mt. Coronet doesn't count as a solo.
If you get 3: Can only have 1 STAB move at all times as soon as you get one. If you learn a new STAB move threw level up, roll a dice to see if you replace the old STAB move with the new on (even number) or not (odd number).
If you get 4: Like the Snookums challenge but a little different. Can't be hit or see any grass type move. If Twigster is hit or sees a grass type move, you must switch it out. Can't use STAB moves until it evolves to torterra. As Torterra, roll a dice to see wich STAB your using (Grass STAB is even and Ground STAB is odd). MUST BE TIMID.
If you get 5:Must land the KO of every pokemon Twigster fights with bite as soon as you get it. Every time you fail or faint, you must solo 2 elite 4/ champion pokemon. Can't replace bite with Crunch.
If you get 6: You can only use Twigster and another pokemon in EVERY Team Galactic battle. In double battles against them, you can only use Twigster because your partner's pokemon counts as the other pokemon.
Have fun with which ever poison luck picks for you.
Accepted. Thanks for noting the ice weakness :).@Iggdrasil Your team seems to be a little ice weak, so I want to help. You get Frosty the Froslass. She does not have the best vision, so give her a Wide Lens. Unfortunately, her vision is so bad that she thinks they are Choice Specs. As such, she can only use attacking moves that would be boosted by Choice Specs. She must use every move at least twice in a row or switch out. She is also a Haxor, so she needs Snow Cloak and Hail. She can evolve from a Snorunt once you beat Candice
Oh okay,It's an acronym meaning "For what it's worth".
I think I'm the noob here, because I didn't know how Platinum scrambles ended, lol.
Also, BlockRCool, just forget my challenge, because I just realized that you need Surf after Petalburg, and even if I removed evo restrictions, it requires an insane amount of grinding to make Lairon Lv 42 by Norman. :/
