Hmm, I can't really put my finger on it. It's wierd, I can't figure it out. I think it's that it looks a little TOO blue? It's like, Sea Salt Ice Cream blue rather than ice blue. Hmmm...It doesn't look like ice. Sure, it has the same colors, but it is completely flat instead of having the ridges that ice would have.
See? Especially Regice.

You WOULD NOT BELIEEEEVE how long ot took to fix Blastoise's outline and Cannon sockets. They look good though?Yeah, they look good. Speaking of Blastoise, the left side of his jaw is a little thin. In the RBY sprite, the tooth/fang overhangs his jaw, but it doesn't in yours.
Hmm, I just noticed that. I tried making it more like that, but it made his mouth look nubby. Like, it looked a little squished.
BTW, is it possible for me to, in the future, make a thread for 5th Gen Revamps? A lot of pokemon have gained new color palletes, and I'm not sure if anyone has made a thread dedicated to revamps.
Your avatar is really low resolution, so I did my best to make it look... not terribly pixelated.

Theres the blaziken one. I didn't use the exact image you mentioned, but it's similar enough in my opinion. What do you think?
I kept it really simple. Just let me know if you would like me to play around with it some more.
I use Photoshop CS5. Also, I'm not quite sure what you meant, but tell me if this solved it...
Okay, I added a drop shadow. So hopefully the outline isn't as harsh anymore.
That's the problem with simple banners, haha. They tend to be a lot harder to perfect. If you look at my other two above your ones, they're not so simple, but I barely did any touching up.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, I probably should've added a border to the entire thing. But if you like it without one, I'll be spared another re-upload haha.OMFG!!! thanks lots BladedWings!!! ill add it know!- Status
