I'm trying to clear out my Wondercards, and I would appreciate some suggestions on the most useful Natures (for BW) for the following:

Mew (need two, already have Calm and Timid)
Deoxys
Jirachi (need three, already have Timid, Jolly, Modest)

Based on the DPP analyses, these seem to cover the most sets:
Mew: Jolly, Adamant
Deoxys: Naive
Jirachi: Careful, Impish, Bold

Agree? Disagree? Are these the best choices for Gen V as well?

What MixMence sets work best in the current metagame?
Also, how many Ice-type Pokemon should I carry on a Hail team? Could I just use all-Ice?

All-Ice is horrible defensively. Most people use 2-4. You can get a little more out of it by using support Pokémon with access to Blizzard (e.g. Tentacruel, which is good on Hail teams anyway).

Is there a reason why the Smogon University PO server suddenly requires a password? How do I access now?

"How do I protect my username from being used by someone else?

Use the Register button directly to the right of the Find Battle button. By selecting this, you will be requested to create a password for your username. This should be a password that you can easily remember but not guessable by other users. If you find that a name you want is already registered you will have to change your name to something else. You will need to do this for each server that you log on to."

So, unless something weird is going on, that means that someone registered your name. Unless you can somehow talk them into giving it back to you, you'll probably have to find a new one.

Hello People! Yes, i wanna make an Core with my Dragoran, do someone can say me, what Pokemon can do good job with him?

Is your game in German? Because Dragoran is the German name of a certain Pokémon, and this Pokémon is called Dragonite in English. (As you may or may not know, Pokémon have different names in different languages. Your English grammar isn't the best, but that's OK because you're not a native speaker, and I can understand what you're saying apart from the Dragoran confusion: I had to Google it to find out that you're talking about what we call Dragonite.)

From what we've seen with the 5th gen Ubers metagame so far, are Calm and Jolly arguably the 2 most useful natures for Mew? I still haven't RNG'd for my 2 Mew WonderCards and am wondering which 2 natures I should pick. Thanks!

Hello, I would just like to know if along side the Wi-Fi translations is there a translation for the Battle Subway. Thanks In Advance.

Sorry if this is too vague, but what are some good basic tips for building/playing with a balanced offensive team? Some things I'm looking for in an answer(s) include:

  • Is it better to have offensive mons that can take hits, or defensive mons that can hit hard?
  • What mons are generally good for a balanced offensive team?
  • What are some good offensive/defensive cores I can use as a base line?
  • What's a good basic strategy to keep in mind to make a balanced offensive team around?
  • What kinds and how many mon archetypes (ex. physical sweeper, special wall) is recommended?
If the answer is not simple enough for this thread, can someone direct me to where I might get this kind of advice?

Different people will have different answers. I suggest getting first hand experience

While that is true, the reason I posted was because I'm not a very good team-builder, so I'm unable to make an effective team to get that kind of first-hand experience; basically, I'm hoping for the kind of basic information I need to help myself get more first-hand experience in order to help myself. I don't really mind if I get different answers; in fact, I was hoping that by getting lots of different answers, I could try some of them out and find ones that suit my playstyle preferences. If you have some suggestions of your own, I would love to hear them and try them out myself, and I thank you for replying.

I highly recommend AVOIDING MORE THEN 2 POKEMON WITH WEAKNESSES TO THE SAME TYPE. and for every weakness to a type it's a good idea to have a resist/immunity to that type.

Also, Offense is best for noobs (like me :P) because other play styles require lots more prediction.

Edit: w0Ot first post on page 15O! :D
It doesn't matter does it?...

Does a boosting move(like Agility) affect the final stat of a Pokemon after applying boosts(like Huge Power/Sand throw) or the original stat(before applying the boosts)?
All non-stage modifiers (like Sand Throw) are applied before all stage modifiers (like Agility). So a Doryuuzu with +6 Speed in sand would be at 8x its base value, for example.
