Crits ignore all Def/SpDef boosts (but not drops) on the defender, and all Atk/SpAtk drops (but not boosts) on the attacker.
No, they register attacker boostsCrits ignore all Def/SpDef boosts (but not drops) on the defender, and all Atk/SpAtk drops (but not boosts) on the attacker.
I said ignore. They ignore the attack drops, but don't ignore the boosts. No, they register attacker boosts
The analysis said Ice Punch has redundant coverage and Thunderpunch is the best option...also, shouldn't Blaziken carry Stone Edge? Both of those questions depend on your team support. If you use adamant nature blaziken, then I reccomend using protect over shadow claw to make up for the lack of speed. If you run jolly then shadow claw is needed due to complete it's coverage. Running jolly you have to be warry of who you send it in on because you can't protect and then ko. Flash fire shandera destroys blazikens lacking shadow claw, so you should put a shandera counter into your team. As for metagross, meteor mash and earthquake are givens, but ice punch is very useful in this metagame for gliscor/dragons, so I would reccomend using that.

So it should go over TPunch? Is there any use for Zen Headbutt? In 5'th gen, ice punch covers garchomp/latias/latios/gliscor/other dragons. Shadow claw covers latias/latios/gengar/burungeru/etc. which all resist your stabs. Stone edge has shakey accuracy, and having flare blitz as your only reliable move is not good, especially since you will be taking around half damage from recoil every time you use it.

^Im pretty sure you didnt factor the sand boost to Ttar.
He was asking for damage calcs in the rain, not that you would be using Ttar without Sand Stream anyway...What kind of EV spread should I run on a non sandstream Tyranitar in order to survive a rain boosted hydro pump from Starmie and KO with pursuit on the switch?
All right, another question. How much Sp. Attack would a Politoed need to KO a Tyranitar with Focus Blast?
There is no chance that will be allowed, as it pretty much makes any poke that learns Rage Smeargle but with way better stats. I'd prefer not to see Spore Aerodactyl, thank youWhat's 'smogon's' position on glitches for competitive play in gen 5?
It has come to my attention that many illegal move sets can be used when the rage glitch is used. For example, I have a Jigglypuff with rage, switcheroo, memento and tickle, in my US platinum. I plan on breeding it with an Erufuun to get the 'illegal' moveset of siwtcheroo+memento. Surely the same can be done for things like Nattorei leech seed+spikes+stealth rock.
Also, I can breed it now, I'm just too lazy to trade it to my JP heartgold, then shift to white.

We can't just allow specific movesets when they're illegal, and glitching won't be supported on shoddy or POYou're blowing this WAY out of proportion. Obviously aerodactyl doesn't learn spore, but the moves he suggested on nattorei (for example) are actually all legal moves that he can learn.
Thank you, I'm going to go test this out now =]Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
