What makes gengar and crobat uber defensive sponges? I know they resist megahorn but they have terrible defenses.
Crobat actually has pretty good defenses. Gengar on the other hand, is as resistant as tissue paper.

this thing is actually usuable in ou. slap on a CB and fuck everything with megahorn. i didn't even use rock smash, but w/e
For some reason quote tags freaking out. Anyhow, a lot of those can not always switch in. You're assuming Shubargo is always Choice Band but that isn't always neccessarily true (I happen to love the Swords Dance for example) which turns a lot of those switch ins very dangerous since Gengar dies to Iron Head (Choice and +2), Crobat to +2 Iron Head (or even Choice Iron Head because of Brave Bird recoil and it still koes after Roost), Roopushin dies to +2 Life Orb Iron Head, Dusclops can get 2 hit koed by +2 Iron Head, Burungeru gets 2 hit koed by +2 Megahorn. Shandera, Steelix, and Heatran however remain problems. Particularly Heatran who just walls Shubargo endlessly and Shandera who traps it in for death. Steelix still isn't seen much in OU (or Crobat/Golbat who also eventually dies to +2 Iron Head). The only sure counters really are Heatran and Shandera who Shubargo simply can't do much of anything too (well, I guess Shubargo could ev itself to survive in rain and throw Reversal against Heatran but otherwise...). As soon as Shubargo gets SuperPower/Close Combat (come on, it looks like a Close Combat type of Pokemon), then Heatran terror is doomed. The only things that really required a Life Orb to kill were Roopushin (you'll win but without Life Orb you've lost 80+% of your health compared to the 50% after Drain Punch+Life Orb), Dusclops, and Evo Stone Golbat although you eventually win after a long struggle of Roosting (helps speed up faster if you're in Sand). It is dangerous to assume that Shubargo will always be Choice or throwing out Megahorn (if they see you have a 4x resist with Team preview or worse Shandera/Heatran for example).
Actually in my experience CB Rock Smash is a solid 2HKO on Heatran, its possible with LO too thanks to the defense down, Chandelure is another story however. The problem I've found with Swords Dance set is that even CB set tends to attract burn users like flies but at least you can just hit em and get the hell out of there. The only sure counters really are Heatran and Shandera who Shubargo simply can't do much of anything too (well, I guess Shubargo could ev itself to survive in rain and throw Reversal against Heatran but otherwise...).
Easy, because you don't seem to think Skarmory doesn't fall under the 4x resist category which was mentioned. How does that list not include skarmory, who laughs at shubargo all day?
But fact is if you don't, he is simply going to run through something in the blink of the eye. You can actually use Megahorn as a tool in a sense, in the end CB or SD or Sub version you still have 3-4 attacks to catch people out on a switch. It is dangerous to assume that Shubargo will always be Choice or throwing out Megahorn (if they see you have a 4x resist with Team preview or worse Shandera/Heatran for example).
Yet you mentioned 5 other 4x resists, 4 of which can beat it? You seem to have forgotten that Crobat/Golbat can pack Heat Wave.Easy, because you don't seem to think Skarmory doesn't fall under the 4x resist category which was mentioned.

The only safe switch ins into this guy are the 4x resists, resisted Evo stone abusers and uber defensive resistant sponges such as Gengar, Crobat, Golbat, Heatran, Chandelure, Dusclops, Jelicent, Steelix and Conkledurr if at full HP.
Hydreigon is Sazandora, and the Fat "Insert name here" happens with all quotes.

LO pursuit excaval with SD is my set of choice. it recently helped me in taking down gliscor. Lolwut
Wait I'm confused on how Pursuit took down Gliscor but ouch, +2 Life Orb Iron Head is an ohko after Stealth Rock on those Gliscor that don't invest in defense like they should and does over 80% on even defense invested Gliscors and that can easily clear the way for other things.
What about a SD Chesto-Rest set?
