is this the legal method of obtaning reshiram/zekrom shiny?

heard something about it but never really paid attention...

At the point where you originally catch Reshiram and Zekrom, you must have all of your boxes and your party filled, in which case you can faint Reshiram/Zekrom, and catch them later on (when they can be shiny).

Could I faint Zekrom/Reshiram even when my box/party isn't full? Does that guarantee that it would reappear again at the dragon spiral tower?

I don't really want to sit there soft-resetting just to catch it. I would prefer doing that later on in the game.

No, if your boxes aren't full, then you have to catch it. If you KO it, then you just have to fight it again. Not sure what happens if you run out of balls; I assume there is some way of obtaining more.

I think N gives you the Masterball at that perfect timing just so you don't fail.

my thought in this matter would be to poketransfer from 4th gen into 5th gen and fill the boxes, or do you have to finish the game before you can poketransfer?
That comes after the E4, except for the legendary beasts/Celebi. Maybe you could clone a bunch of those and transfer them all over, but at that point you may as well just Pokésav it directly.
The master ball is given earlier on, I think in Souryuu city. So you just catch a poke with the master ball
Or toss it.

so many questions.......

1. Should I run Charge Beam/Thunderbolt/Discharge on my Ice Beam/Recover/Toxic Porygon2 set?
2. When making a warstory (SPOILERS), are percentages really necessary/is there an easy way to calculate them?
3.Should I run Toxic/WoW on my Dusclops (Pain Split/Taunt/Confuse Ray)
4.What is a solid Zuruzukin counter, even after one DD/Bulk Up?

have some more, but can't think of them right now

1-Thunderbolt. Discharge is counter productive with toxic (you could end up paralysing something you would rather toxic), charge-beam is too weak and unreliable in this fast paced meta-game of ours to give you enough boost to make you threating.
2-No and no
3-You should run a attack actually, (s-toss is ideal) since clops isn't the fastest thing around and a faster taunt would ruin it. Try dropping taunt for WoW to tank pursuiters and dark poke's in general.
4-The only counter is a poke to resist both stab which is heracross and toxicroak so yeah. Most physical walls do well, I personally use Poison heal gliscor and his acrobat.

1. Defensive P-2 shouldn't care about Charge Beam, and discharge paralysis might interfere with Toxic. I'd go with T-Bolt.

2. Not any that I know of, you have to calculate them manually I guess....adding them makes a warstory much easier to follow though, so its worth it.

3. Its your call, really. If you have trouble handling physical attackers use WoW. If using in tandem with P-2 I'd probably go with Toxic to spread around Poison more. You should do what cotton said and drop Taunt for S-Toss imo

4. I use a defensive Bulk-Up Roobushin. Hitmontop works for DD versions I guess. Gliscor stops any variant that doesn't have Ice Punch. Those are all off the top of my head.

EDIT: physically defensive Skarmory and Hippo can pHaze it out. They can't do much to last man BU sets however.

Thanks for the answers, both of you.

1. I've decided to use T-Bolt
2. I'll do it without in the beginning, but might add them later.
3.P-2 and Clops are in different teams.... Gonna go with Pain Split/Toxic/Confuse Ray/S-Toss
4. Trying to put Gliscor in my team, he also counters a lot of other threats.

And I remembered the 5th one. How much investment does Dory need to OHKO Gliscor with HP Ice? and CAN he 1HKO it? Is it worth it?
EDIT: 252 neutral nature Sp.A Dory does 41.8% - 49.7% to Max Sp.D Max HP Gliscor. Most Gliscor don't run that much, so usually it is a 2HKO. Probably not worth it, though.

that's actually 3 questions.....

EDIT2: And the 6th one!: Is it possible to copy all the colours from the HTML-file from a log directly to a new Smogon Thread/PM? When I try, the colours don't show up

Don't bother trying to OHKO Gliscor with HP Ice.

assuming LO, with no investment and a neutral nature Dory can always 2HKO(54.2% - 64.4%) a 252/0 Gliscor after SR given that the Gliscor doesn't have Protect and you hit it on the switch.

Non-LO variants must run 104 Satk evs to do the same.

Not worth it, imo.

BulkyChomp

Ok, I'm running an impish Garchomp with 248hp/244def/16 speed, to get the jump on all tyranitar. What I'm wondering is, should I invest another 4 speed evs to outspeed neutral base 100s with no investment? Like Celebi, Jirachi etc.

It's up to you, but personally if there's something you would like to beat that is so few EVs away, go for it. The difference to your defences will be negligible. Maybe even put 8 in to beat 4Spe base 100s.

Speed and HP are the only stats where specific EVs are important (the latter only for Substitute shenanigans, Leftovers numbers, and so on). Taking a couple out of your defense is almost never going to matter.

There's also Attack, Defense, and Special Defense.

Attack because if your Pokémon doesn't use physical attacks, you don't want Foul Play to be very effective, so you'll want a 0.

Defense and Special Defense because if your Defense and Special Defense are about the same, you want to have a higher Special Defense so that Download Pokémon get an Attack boost instead of a Special Attack boost.

Is it possible to copy the log of a battle(HTML) so that the colours stay? When I copy to Word the colours stay, when I copy to Smogon(PM), the colours don't stay

Will Medicham ever come back to OU as it was in Advance? Is it still a "good" Pokemon?

Highly doubtful. It was probobly only OU during ADV due to Baton Pass, and it's ability to give SkarmBliss some trouble through it's raw power.

In Gen 4, even physical Elemental punches couldn't save it from NU. It's too slow.

Medicham is not good, and highly unlikly to make a return to OU, or even UU [Or whatever we decide to call the 2nd teir this gen]
