5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong for breeding with a standard seed? So far I'm hitting my seed, depositing the parents, running around inside the daycare building as there are no moving NPCs there to generate the egg, go outside, save next to the daycare guy, hit my seed again, advance the frame, collect egg. Also I'm advancing it as if the initial frame is 8.

1. Deposit the parents
2. Run around outside until the guy has an egg
3. Go inside the building and save
4. Hit your seed
5. Do any IV frame / PID frame advancing inside the building
6. Go out and immediately collect the egg (hold left as you walk out and spam A)
7. Check what you got, and adjust your PID frame advancing accordingly.

The initial IV frame is 8. The initial PID frame will vary depending on the seed, but is generally between frames 40 and 60.
 
Okay, so I bought White today, so I can abuse IDs without having to start over on Black again. Can someone that knows how to abuse IDs help me out? PM/VM me, I have done it on Platinum before, and I have my DS parameters narrowed down.

Thanks a lot for that ^^ one more thing, does walking through the door of the daycare centre to the outside count as a step towards frame advancement?
 
i am doing c-gear abuse i have question:
when i start the timer what do i have to do and when first timer hits zero what to (i am using a flash card)

Yep, put those IV's in, keep all the other values the same, then hit search. It should come up with only one result, that'll be what you're hitting. Then you just have to readjust accordingly.

Also, what would I put as my max frame? I've tried 10, 11, and 12 but got no results.
 
if anyone can help, pls hear me out ok I am doing non c gear abuse trying to hit a shiny frame from method 5 theoretical, i checked my parameters with my white and black and got two different results everything the same except timer0 C7C for black and C85 for white is this normal?(the ivs were confirmed with an ar after i caught the pokemon without ar in the ds) i used them both for victini and they work for their respective games, i also confirmed my SId for both but every time i try to search for the natures i hit after catching a litwick in celestial tower(i think there are no moving npcs there) i can never find the natures i hit after the whole saving process, even though it works for stationary pokemon like victini easily for me, idk what im doing wrong, or if the timer is fluctuating, can someone pls tell me if im doing something wrong?
 
Where is the new vesion of RNG Reporter that has been used in Bearfans videos? I downloaded off 1st page but I think that was an April fools joke.

The official release has been postponed, so for now, use the April Fool's version (you have to set your computer's clock to April 1st to use it).
 
I hate to be a noob, but is there a guide on breeding for shinies? I've gotten the hang of basic RNG abuse with standard seeds (and hit C-gear seeds once or twice too...what a pain), but I still don't know beans about shininess.
 
I noticed the Initial frame for Roamer generation in the OP was changed from 2 to 1: is it a typo, or do the Roamers follow the same rules now ? (except for the shifted IVs)
 
Um, I'm trying to breed a Brave Tepig with Superpower. However I'm not sure how to do the RNG. Do I follow the same guide on how to RNG wild Pokemon/Legends or is it different?

Here's how I did it.

I searched for a Roamer Standard seed with hexflawless IVs.

I found one on Frame 2. From there I went to the house with only 1 Pokémon in my party and walked 128 steps to advance my frame. Then I went out to let Tornadus roam. The result after 4 tries due to natures I didn't like was a Naive 31/31/31/31/31/31 Tornadus.

A question about Parameters:

I have found my Parameters in Black, and now I want to RNG on my new White Cart, can I use the same parameters?

MAC Adress: 0009BFDF3BB1
VCount: 60
Timer0: C7C
GxStat: 6
VFrame: 8

So, question, how would you do it with a Stationary Legendary with a Frame 1? Would you have to walk any steps?

I'm trying to get a hexflawless Legendary and the seeds that came up for April have a Frame of 1. I could try and generate some for other months, but I have not did that yet.

Frame 1 requires no advancement at all. Just start the encounter when you enter the game, or advance the PIDRNG first by saving.

Ah, thank you. I'm trying out the non-C Gear method. My apologies since I see those type of questions are not allowed. I'm still kind of new to this and would really like to have some success.

That temporary prohibition has been released seeing as how a RNG reporter that supports non c gear abuse for the English carts have been released. We can talk about non c gear now
