5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

It seems like I've seen the male/female thing here, but I don't know where it is. In the main window in RNG Reporter, if it has a 75% chance to be female, and all the other chances male, will it always be a female or no? I need someone to clarify that again so I know what PID frame I am starting on, thank you! ^^

It will be female if it has a 75%/25% ratio.

the step leaving the house is not even considered a step, leaving you at 127 steps at that point, which is not enough to increase your frame. Just try to do 128 steps and on the 129th "step" leave the house. This might help you hitting your IV frame.

If your problem still occurs then, I might check it out tomorrow, as it may not be too hard to check it out.
alright cool thanks

If I'm missing with my timer0(it seems to be the held button that throws it off for me), would you guys recommend starting the game from the intro sooner or later than normal? Or is timer0 determined by something totally different?

im interested on how to rng for pokemon in rustling grass. when i walk steps in order to initiate a rustling grass, will that advance my frame assuming it took 128 steps?

Reposting my summary for the new page.

So, to summarise breeding in BW:

1. Find a good spread on frame 8 in Time Finder, selecting Gift Pokemon.
2. Deposit parents.
3. Run around outside until an egg is generated.
4. Save inside the house.
5. Hit the seed, leave house and mash A and left to get the egg.
6. Hatch egg.
7. Take note of ability, gender and IV's.
8. If possible, find in main window, otherwise repeat a few more times to get consistent results, then advance PID by 1 to narrow results.
9. Find out how far to advance to your correct PID.
10. Hit seed once more, advance PID in house, then collect egg.

Does this sound right? And also, is it better to use beta 4 or 5 for PID searching?

Ok I'm still having the same problem: I've tried a second date/time, switched synchs, and changed the number of Pokemon in my party (Frame 3) for the same C Gear Seed, and I'm still getting another different nature the same time every time. For example, I'm going after a Brave Druddigon, but for one date, it's always either Bashful or Hardy. I try another date and it's always Relaxed. This never happened on my DSi which begs the question if it has something to do with the DS. Really I don't even understand how PID is still relevant here prior to what xElite said.

Still trying to figure this out.

And I'm sorry to be bringing up C Gear questions, and as much as I appreciate bearfan's videos, I need a laid out text guide before I do Standard Abuse. So until then, I'll be asking C Gear only questions

is the calibration part for your timer on -95? i heard thats what it is for any ds besides a dsi

cool! so i'm assuming that you just talk to the Day Care Man holding the egg after walking to get the right frame, and saving to get the right nature?

I'm having issues finding my starting PID. I always catch Minccino first, then re-start, listen to Chatot's cry once, and end up with Liepard with the same IV's. I can't seem to find any pattern of their nature/ability/encounter slots. Also, should I enter only half of the seed into the box, or the full seed?

Full seed.

Which area are you in? You're probably getting messed up by NPCs.

Enter the full seed. And from what I've read(haven't gotten this far yet), you're going to want to test it several times until you have an idea of where you're at. For example, let's say you catch one that's Adamant and then one that's Timid. That probably won't tell you much, there are likely multiple Adamant then Timid combinations. But if you do 5 in a row and get something like Adamant/Timid/Modest/Hardy/Brave, then you'll probably be much more likely to find where you are.
