5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Umm...you're breeding, right? If you're breeding then the parents IVs matter as well. You inherit 3 IVs from the parents. Obviously the bad speed stat is coming from one of the parents because you are hitting the wrong PID, not because you missed your seed. Unless your parents both have perfect speed and the seed has perfect speed as well, you won't always get perfect speed.

Don't use frame 10. Read Tesseraction's guide and use the search method listed there. It will save you a lot of headache. Do you really want to advance 2 frames, hatch an egg and then find out you missed your seed? Plus you won't even be able to keep track of your PID frame 'cause the NPCs will advance it. If you want to torture yourself with frame 10, go do your IV frame advancements in the grass/cave/whatever. 128 steps with 2 pokemon in your party.

Oh damn, that's some bad luck. Can't help you there. Timer0 has never screwed me up more than 3 times in a row so idk.
 
Does anybody know why RNG Reporter would be crashing when I try to generate for Time Finder? I've chosen the IV's (trying for a flawless Liberty Garden Victini), chose Method 5 C-gear, Stationary Pokemon, entered my DS MAC Adress, I entered max frame and delay info, and told it I had White English version. But when I hit generate the program closes itself.

Here's a screencap just incase I missed something.

It seems to be a problem with Version 9.79 as an older version did not crash on me.

Well how is knowing what I hit gonna help me? Not really. I am just REALLY getting frustrated. I am looking for a new spread right now since the other one is getting on my nerves. :l I hope using a new spread helps!!

It can tell you whether it's just Timer0 or if you're doing something else wrong, and you could then try searching for a seed on that value if you're consistently hitting it.

I just KNOW it is Timer0. I don't have a keypress or anything and I am really usually good at hitting spreads. I wish someone could figure out how to bypass Timer0.... Sides, I rather find an entire new spread rather than dealing with this one. Sadly, my computer is REALLY laggy right now... ._.
 
Found a new spread.... all happy..... low PID frame...... tried to hit it....... NO!! As usual, I cannot hit it. Is breeding that much different from captures? I remember back in 4th gen when I thought captures were hard and breeding was easy.... Yeah now it switched! In a bad way.... :( Any help with this? By the way, I am only getting 2 inherited stats(which shouldn't be inherited) and an RNG'ed stat. So it is Tri-flawless.... Not even much to call flawless except on Shedinja. I really need help on this! If you are willing to help this 5th gen breeding noob and failure out, please reply on this thread and VM/PM me with your best shot! Thanks!

You aren't providing any information, and the information you are providing is incorrect. You ALWAYS get 3 inherited IVs.
 
Woohoo, successfully RNG'd a DW Nidoran-F and Kangaskhan. Now I won't touch an RNG until my Espeon comes out, cuz I want to be able to head straight for DW to pick it up.
 
Another quick question. I've been using PPRNG for my Gen V RNGing so far, and I'm pretty sure I've got my parameters more-or-less figured out. Is there a way I can just input my already-found parameter information into RNG Reporter, or do I have to go through the Parameter Search process in order for it to collect my information? :/

Just put in the parameters from PPRNG. I'd double check by using Parameter Finder, but you should be fine.

GxStat is default 6 for DSlite/DS, so chiizu left that stuff hidden :)
it's 6 by default in reporter and should be left as such (iirc)

Alright, well... where do I put them in? I know that's probably a dumb question, but I'm only seeing DS Parameter Finder, and inputting information about my parameters into the Seed Encryption Variables section there won't save them. I don't know what I'm doing wrong here, but... >_>

EDIT: Scratch that; found where to input them. PPRNG doesn't ask for a GxStat, though, so I don't know what mine is. Is that going to be important to find out?

It's always 6, which is why I didn't bother with it. If somebody ever cracks DSi stuff maybe I'll have to add it then.

Is there an everstone or power items involved? Also, which nature are you getting? There is no way to narrow down in which frame you've ended without this.

It seems to me that you are hitting your seed all the times you get flawless speed.

I haven't narrowed down a nature, but I have never gotten Timid. And yes, I am using an Everstone in which my Zoroark is holding. Also, my starting PID is 47. My target PID Frame is 98. Some that are close to it is a 100 with a shiny timid, 102 with a shiny timid, and 104 with a shiny timid.(Lol, can you believe my luck?) I am trying to hit it as we speak, and if I narrow down a nature, I will let you know! :D And no, it is NOT flawless. It should be quint-flawless, but only 3 stats are. 2 parent stats, and one RNG'ed one.
EDIT: I tried to hit it AGAIN. I got Quirky nature and Max SP.DEF,DEF, and SPD. My nature and stats I get seem to change often... :(
By the way, I am trying to get: 31/X/31/31/31/31 on a Shiny Zorua.
