Challenge The Scramble Challange

You get Tramp the male Poochyena. He starts out as an innocent young pup, but he may not evolve until he learns both attract and swagger. Then he becomes a ladies man, so he must have attract and use it on all female pokemon in his egg group he meets from then on. However, he is also a heartbreaker, so he must then use swagger to confuse the ladies and make them more hostile. At that point, he disposes of the women, and moves on to the next one. He is a dark type, after all.

I love you. So very, very much.

You can get my Nidoking in the FireRed run I'M doing.
Name SlaveMster.

Solo one gym *cough*lt.surge*cough*
Must evolve to Nidoking ASAP. That means AS SOON AS. Literally.
When you get a HM move, Nidoking must learn it if he can straight away.
HM Moves may be deleted via move deleter, but must have Surf, Strength, Cut, Rock Smash before you challenge the E4.

Done.

Roosh, take an Illumise (on Emerald obviously) and call it "Volbeat?".

This Illumise thinks it is a Volbeat, and since Volbeat are mainly physical attackers, this Illumise will also prefer physical attacks.

This means you cannot teach it any special attack.

Since it thinks it is a Volbeat, and likes to beat stuff, it has to be taught Focus Punch as soon as you get the TM.

It is extremely jealous of all Illumise it meets, because it thinks it is a Volbeat who wants to be an Illumise.
If you meet an Illumise, wild or trained, you must send out Volbeat? and use Focus Punch until one of them dies (can also be Volbeat?, in that case you must revive it ASAP and send it out again, and if you can't do that, you can just regularly beat the Illumise)

I hope you enjoy!

I love these ideas.

@Roosh: Take Cowabunga! the Rhydon. Yes, I'm making you catch a Rhyhorn. It must know Surf at all times, and use it at least once per battle and against every Pokemon it fights that is weak to Surf. It must also know Sunny Day, because who likes surfing on a rainy day? Use Sunny Day any time another Pokemon changes the weather. It cannot learn any other moves by move tutor or TM (level-up moves that are also TMs are fine, but it must level up to learn them).

This goes for both games.

Done.

Roosh, you think thats hard? Check out my FireRed Scramble somewhere around page 87. Now that's difficulty!

Also @Arcticblast, I didn't post here.

Good...good god.

@Roosh

In Emerald bring Treeko the GrassMastr. The grass master is just that he can only use Grass attacks in battle (other than pound which you must delete ASAP). Additionally, he must make at least a cameo appearance against every gym leader.

In Fire Red bring Bisghetti the Tangela. Bisghetti is bummed that tangelas don't appear until they are almost useless to have. To compensate Bisghetti is determined to solo at least 2 members of the Elite 4. There are no move or item restrictions of any kind. The only level restriction is that bisghetti may not be a higher level than the highest level pokemon of the first E4 member you decide to solo.

You people just LIVE to make my FireRed run borderline impossible, don't you?

Anyways, teams as follows:

Fire Red:

Squirtle: No Water moves, must solo Erika
Psyduck (Migraine): Must use Disable first every battle, no Water moves.
Rhydon (Cowabunga): Must have Sunny Day + Surf, only other moves are Level up moves.
Tangela (Bisghetti): Must solo 2/4 E4, cannot be higher level than the highest of the 1st E4 I wish to solo.
Nidoking (SlaveMstr): Must evolve to Nidoking ASAP, must learn every HM after obtaining it. Move Deleter may be used, must have Surf, Strength, Cut, Rock Smash before E4.

1 more guys!

Emerald:

Treeko (GrassMastr): Must Kameo in every gym battle, only Grass moves allowed.
Poochyena (Tramp): May not evolve until it learns Swagger and Attract, afterwards it proceeds to use both moves on all female Pokemon in the same egg group.
Rhydon (Cowabunga): Must have Sunny Day + Surf, only other moves are Level up moves.
Illumise (Volbeat?): Must have only physical moves, Focus Punch being one. Must kill all opposing Illumise with Focus Punch.
Magikarp (Loser): Cannot evolve until level 25, must always be the weakest member, must solo 1 gym.

Oh god.

@margriz

You get a PIKACHU!!

This Pikachu HATES Ash's Pikachu since it broke game physics, and therefore cannot use any moves that Ash's Pikachu has used.
List: Thundershock, Thunderbolt, Iron Tail, Agility, Quick Attack, Thunder, Double Edge, Volt Tackle.

To prove itself better than Ash's Pikachu, it must solo 1 member of the E4, and one Gym Leader.
It also cannot evolve. (But you can use a Light Ball if you manage to get one)

@Roosh

You get a Pikachu. It cannot use any Electric moves, and must solo Lance. It also cannot hold a Light Ball.

Have Fun!

@Roosh, for Emerald, your team doesn't have a Fire type, and Fire types are cool, so take a Numel named Blaze. This Numel is so awesome, it has ABSOLUTELY NO RESTRICTIONS. That's right. It can do whatever, and still be cool. Of course, Camerupt's too big and ugly to be as cool as Blaze, so Blaze decided to never evolve, but other then this obvious decision he can do whatever he wants, so enjoy :)

@Magriz, take a Spoink named Genius. It can only know Smart moves, and must either solo a Gym Leader, or win a Master Smart Contest.

@Marioman07, take a Sandile named Land Croc. If its ability is Intimidate, all of its moves must either be capable of lowering its opponents stats, or inflict a status effect (Flinch and trapping moves count). If its ability is Moxie, it can never switch out of a battle.

@Magriz: Take a Wingull. It must know a Water move, a Flying move, Shock Wave and Supersonic ASAP. It must keep this moveset (although thw Water- and Flying-type moves can be any move of that type).

@Texas: What?

@Marioman07: Find an Audino named Reckless on Route One. Train it to level 10 by the end of Route Two. You cannot use any item stronger than Full Heal and Super Potion on it. It must know these moves by the Elite Four:
-Take Down / Double-Edge
-Wild Charge
-Fire Blast
-Flash / Heal Pulse (if you use Heal Pulse then you may not use it in Double Battles)

Have fun.

Audino cannot be found until after Striaton Gym, as shaking grass only appears then. Heaven knows why.

@Nightmare jigglypuff, didn't realize you needed more, take a Snorunt named NotMTP. This Snorunt wants to be a MTP (Mono Type Pokemon), so it wants to only use Ice attacks. However, Treadshot will be mad if I give one of his trademarked Scrambles away, so Snorunt can only use Ice attacks and one other attack of your choice.

I completed my Fire Red scramble, the results of which I'll post later.

But for now, I am accepting a new challange. No trading, and none of the following Pokés: Charmander line, Mankey line, Oddish line, Pikachu line, Geodude line, Jynx, Eevee, and the Eeveelutions.

@Newby n0Ob: Take a Bulbasaur. Name it $#%%!& or something to that effect. It may not know Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, Earthquake or Giga Drain. It cannot battle Brock's Onix.

Noob, for firered I assume?

Just to be safe, catch a Machop named Ghandi. He can't use any fighting attacks. He may evolve into Machoke whenever, but never machamp.

Newby N00b, you get three choices of challenge:

1. A Staryu that cannot evolve

2. A Gyarados that cannot learn Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Hidden Power, Hydro Pump, Thunder, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Double-edge.

3. A Golduck that must know one physical move, one Special move, one Status move, and one free choice move. If the free choice move is Physical, then no further restrictions, if it's Status, it has to solo one Gym Leader, if it's Special, it has to solo two Gym Leaders.

Pick option 1,2,or 3 as your challange.

Just posting an update to my Ruby challenge

Have just beaten Norman (Thank god for Breloom), and am on the way to Fortree.

My Pokemon are as follows:

Tech (Breloom-M) Lvl 35 @ nothing
Ability: Effect Spore
Jolly Nature
-Mega Drain
-Mach Punch
-Counter
-Leech Seed

After evolution, became the MVP. Leech Seed was a godsend against Maxie, allowing me to stall with healing items until the Camerupt fainted. Also soloed the entire Petalburg Gym using Mach Punch and Leech Seed. This is probably the final moveset, since I can’t learn any moves over 60 BP.

Angryvoice (Loudred-M) Lvl 34 @ Silk Scarf (shared with Dumb Bell)
Ability: Soundproof
Jolly Nature
-Stomp
-Uproar
-Strength
-Supersonic

Until Tech’s evolution, he was the MVP. Was very difficult to solo Wattson’s Magnemite and Magneton (using Uproar). Got lucky with healing, he used up both potions on the Magnemite. (Why doesn’t Soundproof block Sonicboom???). Was instrumental against Flannery.

Dumb Bell (Metang-?) Lvl 29 @ Silk Scarf (Shared with Angryvoice)
Ability: Clear Body
Quiet Nature
-Take Down
-Confusion (not used)
-Metal Claw (not used)
-Rock Smash (Used outside of battle only)

Very strong player, hoping to add Double Team and Toxic TMs, if I’m allowed. If not, will continue to do well as a strong team player. For the challenge, I’m considering Wally to be a rival as well as the other player character.

Items used:
1 Super Potion (against rival on route 110)
1 HM06 Rock Smash
Total 2.

Somber (Lotad-M) Lvl 29 @ nothing
Ability: Swift Swim
Adamant Nature
-Astonish
-Surf
-Absorb
-Nature Power

Was LVP until getting Surf. Delaying evolution until he gets Mega Drain, then will likely run Hydro Pump, Mega Drain, Ice Beam/Blizzard and Surf.

Vivi (Ralts-M) Lvl 26 @ nothing
Ability: Trace
Gentle Nature
-Shock Wave
-Calm Mind
-Secret Power
-Psychic

Now the LVP. Low base stats, and a very weak movepool. Don’t know who I’m going to solo with this one. And I was so excited to get a Ralts for Brawly.

Nincada @ nothing
HM slave
-Flash
-Cut
-Scratch
-Leech Life

Since none of my assigned Pokemon could learn cut, I caught the first Pokemon I saw that could learn it.

And the Challenges:

Vivi: May never evolve. Must learn an electric move (Shock Wave) and Calm Mind ASAP. Must have 3 attacking moves of different types (Shock Wave, Psychic and Secret Power). Must solo an Elite Four member :(

Dumb Bell: May only attack with Take Down (I’m thinking this is only directly damage, but I could be mistaking). Must always solo my rival. May only have items used 10 times during the game (held berries don’t count?)

Angryvoice: Must know Frustration (as soon as I can get the TM, it’s in Pacifidlog) and Uproar. Must solo with Uproar/Frustration any Steel-type Trainer pokemon encountered, excluding Steven’s. May have no STAB moves over 80BP except Frustration, may use herbs to affect happiness.

Somber: Must know only attacking moves since Ability is Swift Swim. Cannot learn any new moves once evolved to Ludicolo

Tech: May have no moves over 60BP. Must solo Maxie on Mt. Chimney, and at least one member of the Elite Four.

Raphael: The only Pokemon caught in-game. May be caught only after obtaining the Sunny Day TM, and must learn it immediately. Must use Sunny Day in every trainer battle he appears in, and must solo at least 3 of Drake’s dragons to be used against Steven.

The questions I have hidden in here are:

Can Dumb Bell use moves like Toxic and Double Team?

Can I catch Raphael before I go to Fortree, and box him until I have the TM?

Newby Noob: Take on the ultimate challenge of Firered. Nidoran!

Catch a Nidoran Male. Get it to Nidoking as soon as you get your first Moon Stone (As in, Nidorino before you exit Mt. Moon) This is the ultimate King of Nido's, so it must be one heck of a powerhouse. It must know Thrash, as beating up everything in it's way is always good, Megahorn to show off it's amazing ramming skills, Thunder to destroy all Water types and show it's power of nature, and Toxic, so it can watch all it hits slowly be tortured to death.

This Nido believes it can do everything, so it'll blast through Brock's Onix with just kicking(Double Kick), and destroy at least 30 trainer pokemon, and it must use Thrash on every Steel type it see's until it dies. Nickname it "KingNido"

Recap time!

Catch Nidoran Male, nickname it "KingNido"
Must know Thrash, Megahorn, Thunder, and Toxic sometime before E4
Must solo Brock's Onix with Double Kick
Must take out 30 trainer pokemon
Must take out every steel type with Thrash.

@Newby-Catch a geodue, can only evolve by soloing 2 gym leaders, can evolve again by soloing your rival twice(as a gravler), can never learn earthquake so enjoy

I said Geodude wasn't allowed.

Two more spots left. Again, no Charmander, Geodude, Pikachu, Mankey, Jynx, Oddish, Eevee, or any of their evolutions.

Pokés so far:
Bulbasaur who cannot learn Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, Earthquake, or Giga Drain and cannot battle Brock's Onix
Machop that cannot learn Fighting-type attacks
Gyarados that cannot learn Dragon Dance, EQ, Hidden Power, Hydro Pump, Thunder, Blizzard, Ice Beam, or Double-Edge
Nidoran(M) that must evolve instantly, must have Thrash, Megahorn, Thunder, and Toxic before the E4, must solo Brock's Onix with Double Kick, must take out 30 trained Pokés, and must use Thrash on Steel-types until it dies.

@ Newby n0Ob

Pidgey, must be the first Pokemon you catch.

This Pidgey has a superiority complex, and must always solo your rival's Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot. It may not evolve to Pidgeotto until soloing your rival's Pidgeotto, and may not evolve to Pidgeot until soloing your rival's Pidgeot. Bonus points if you solo Pidegot in the Champion battle as well, although this is not necessary. Must also solo at least 2 of Bruno's Pokemon.

@Newby n0Ob
you get pokEball the voltorb
PokEball is so angry that other pokemon mistake it for a pokEball that if it leads a wild battle, you must either solo the wild pokemon with pokEball or catch the pokemon (with a pokeball if you want to).
pokEball also feels the pain that other voltorb and electrode feel when people mistake them for pokeballs so it cannot defeat another voltorb or electrode. There are no other restrictions.

Great! Now my team is complete!

I have a feeling this scramble will be much harder than the previous...

EDIT: While grinding Pidgey, out of random, I encountered a SHINY (bleep)ING RATTATA. Too bad I can't use it -.-
