You know what a good after-VGC event would be?
Vancouver Canucks vs San Jose Sharks at 12:00PM on Sunday!
 
I am really looking forward to seeing how Deagle will fair. This guy has done monthly blogs for everyone to read and has contributed probably the most helpful (lol shitmydeaglesays) articles then anybody on this metagame individually, hoping to see another dramatic regional! Come on peeps!
 
I'll be cheering for the 2 finest pairs of brothers in Pokémon. :3

Anyways, Masters starts at 1:00, so it would be more of a pre-VGC partayyyyyyyyyy

So I'm reading through the regulations book for Regionals and I'm a bit confused. Is it Single Elim all the way through or are you guaranteed to play a couple matches before they start knocking people out?

Unfortunately, it's all single eliminations for regionals. It's not until nationals that best 2-out-of-3 are in play.
 
Single elimination is kind of unfair, but I guess when you're dealing with that many players it's the only efficient way to do it.

YESSSS, I don't have to be there idiotically early! (On a side note, when SHOULD I be there? 10:30?)

If anybody sees me, I'll have a Jewfro and glasses. I hope that should be enough.

Registration opens at 1pm. People will start lining up before then. I'm not sure exactly when they started in Seattle.
 
If it's like Seattle, then they won't be anywhere near running out of room. So getting there early just means you won't have to wait in the registration line as long, which seems...kind of counterproductive. I'm planning on getting there about an hour early, mostly to make allowances for traffic and other potential complications.
 
I think (90% chance) I won't go because my dad has to go work and I don't have no one to take me,witch sucks my cousin might go so I might tag along but he has a Soccer gamewitch just narrows down the chances,but for vacations I'm heading to the nationals in the "Last chance Qualifire"
 
Huy to win masters, unreality and Jeremy to Top 2 Seniors, I can't pick which one though, they're both cool guys! D:

Good luck to everybody, maybe get some more warstories this time? :P
 
Scary O.o Hopefully I'll do better than I did last year, which would be top 16. Go me :D Yeah um no. Anyway can't wait to meet some of you guys.
