League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

Hmm...

I reviewed three cases today, and the #1 biggest offense was Intentional Feeding. Which was unsettling, because it was apparent none of the offenders were intentionally feeding. 2 of them were legitimately awful people that I punished for negative attitude and in one case constant racial slurs, but the third while very childish was pushed into his situation by asshole teammates in all 6 games he was reported in. Intentional feeding =/= being unskilled, and being unskilled is not a punishable offense.

Two of the ones I did today were intentional feeding, and the guys really meant it. One of them was calling MIAs for the other team, the other said "I AM INTENTIONALLY FEEDING". Third was harassment and AFKing, which was also valid imo.

madred's bloodrazor is FOR THE WEAK lifesteal tank warwick is where it's at

thank you so much for not rushing bloodrazor like all the bad warwicks out there

I don't understand the point of rushing on anyone other than Kog'Maw. It just doesn't do enough damage early game. Is Madred's like, the first recommended item after the starting item and boots or something?

Pretty much. I usually build Doran's Shield, Merc Treads, Madred's Razor, Sprit Visage, Recurve Bow, then it depends how the game is going whether I go more offensive or defensive. There's nearly always a better option than rushing Bloodrazor though.

Is there a list of ign of players here?

Level 20 summoner: renosaur
also my w/l ratio for players vs. players is above 1 now! hooray!

edit: The 1.0.0118b patch brought some new stuff
-Summoners can now setup multiple mastery pages in their Summoner Profile to select from during Champion Selection, up to a maximum of 10.
Updated recommended items
Caustic Spittle
Cast range increased to 625 from 600
Now lowers both magic resist and armor
Bio-Arcane Barrage cooldown decreased to 15 seconds from 17
Living Artillery now scales with attack damage and ability power at a 0.5 ratio
Void Ooze width increased slightly
been waiting

Going to play Kog'Maw soon. I might go straight AP on him and build Bloodrazor later since most of his damage is magic now. I can finally build Tear of the Goddess on him since I'm going AP.

Twisted Fate is still really good. Glad they didn't nerf him. Q takes out a whole caster minion wave if you're farmed enough by level 9. If not, then Q+Red card does the same. Late-game you can literally clear entire minion waves in a second with that combo.

I suspect that AP Kog'Maw is capable of the same with his Void Ooze+Living Artillery combo. I don't know how much of Bio-Arcane Barrage you want to get on AP though. :/

Eh my main problem with TF for a long time has been how slow his movement speed is, even with boots 3 he walks like he has cement shoes. Also Annie is pretty boss this patch, I think they made her ap ratio's too high, I was playing with a friend yesterday and we won 9 games in a row, with him ending constantly at about 15-3-13 with full stacks on mejai's. Also, I think AD kog is still the best, because his auto-attack damage with his Q now on them and a blood razor melts their face off more then just throwing the Void Ooze and Artillery.

Well you have to realize that his ult scales with AD and no matter how much you attack, that's time you spend not using your ult. Kog'Maw's ultimate is basically the best poking skill in the game and if you build AP it does tons of damage.

It does the same amount of Damage if you build AD now too with the last patch, as it scales better with AD regardless. AD Kog literally now has every advantage AP Kog had (bar the E) along with the consistent high DPS of auto-attacks that AP Kog can't have.

Ah, but AP is still a much better farmer early on. E+R starts wiping out minion waves very early.

If you needed to push you can do that... but I don't see many Kog Maw's solo pushing a lane at mid-game when everyone is starting to group up.

Let's face it, both schools of thought have skill sets that are better than the other in one area, but when it comes to dealing more damage, AD Kog is simply more effective.

had a good game as tank amumu, rolling 1/10/25 (lol); although i got a lot of good uses of my ult :)

Been playing Singed lately and Merc Treads seem much more useful than BoS. I was rollin double catalyst early on but Catalyst + Rylai's seems more useful so I think I'm sticking with that.

i am vehemently opposed to the inclusion of rylai's as a core item, anybody you fling will usually be chain ccd and torn to shreds in 0.5 seconds by your team so the slow isn't necessary, goo already slows and since poison trail is aoe the slow is reduced and if someone is chasing you you don't want them to slow, you want them to keep going so you can turn on them and kill them - it can actually reduce your capabilities as a bulky support

same as building thornmail or guardian angel on an initiator or someone who is meant to take the focus - nobody will attack you then..guardian angel aura on a beefy person is a massive 'ignore me' sign

haven't tried out new patch yet i will have a few games later tonight, as well as construct a list of smogon igns

Rylai's works fine. That "you slow people chasing and they won't chase you" argument is invalid. If people are stupid enough to chase you through a poison trail, they're stupid enough to chase you through a poison trail until they work out they're slowed, by which time you or your team have taken advantage of the situation. Unless you're in a 1v1 situation, in which case you must be playing against complete vegetables for that kind of kiting to even work. The AoE slow in team battles far outweighs the ability to kite terrible players.
And that's not even considering the offensive utility that slow on Poison Trail provides in cutting off exits, effectively snaring people with your W+Q, and actually chasing the other team. Believe or not Singed doesn't spend the entire game running away from people.

I have to agree with Kinneas and say that the AoE slow provided by your poison will in turn allow your team to kite and position themselves far more effectively, especially when it comes to kiting enemy melee DPS. The tankiness and AP from Rylai's are both welcome stats and you can't really go wrong with the standard Banshee's/Rylai's core build.

What armor items do you find best on Singed? With MR, FoN and Banshee's are no-brainers, but in terms of armor, I have a hard time deciding between Randuin's, Frozen Heart, Sunfire Cape, etc.

I often grab Glacial Shroud early on for the mana since it's always welcome on Singed. The cooldown reduction is useful for his ultimate too. It's a lot cheaper than Sunfire Cape and Randuins, and if you find that it's not enough armor then it's easy to build into Frozen Heart later on. Sunfire Cape is good I guess, makes farming that little bit quicker, but Frozen Heart can completely shut down melee DPS with the attack speed reduction.

I can't really comment on Randuin's because I never find myself building it on any champ, I don't know why.

Unless you play an actually good initiator, who cannot be ignored (i.e. someone with a taunt or strong CC or enough damage to make you regret ignoring them)

Just played a game to prove a point

Went Catalyst, Merc Treads, Rylai's.

I started out laning with Lux vs Xin Zhao and Warwick. I was going to go Glacial Shroud before Rylai's but we ended up getting first blood and completely dominating them so i didn't feel like there was much point.

First death came at 8-0 when they all decided to focus me in a team fight despite me being the tankiest champ on the team. They all died afterwards, obviously.

When you said double catalyst I thought you meant as in building RoA's. So what's with the Double Catalyst? It's not a great item by itself.

I have to agree with Thorns about Guardian Angel. It's hidden passive is "Don't attack me first", which works GREAT for carries and piss poor for tanks. Yeah, you can force them to deal with you, but Guardian Angel can be the difference between them trying to take down the last half of your life when the team fight starts or going for your carry instead. Thornmail is fine though, I just think there are better items for most situations.
