Yeah.. timid syncher only. The way gen 4 works with syching is weird like that.

The range of delays on that first page are a good place to start. You just put the PID in Pandora's Box and it'll spit out seeds for you to hit. It's pretty easy to figure out once you've started it.

Are those 6 flawless seeds from the DPPt spreadsheets the only flawless seeds for Gen 4 games? I found a docile, 3 modest and 2 timid seeds total. Are those it? Would be nice to find a Jolly, Calm or Adamant flawless seed. I have seen some flawless Calm 4th Gen pokes floating around these boards.

On a related note, can those spreadsheet seeds (under the DPPt stuff) be used for HG/SS? Or do I need to find new seeds for those games?

Second & delay seems to be okay. I'd recommend using EonTimer or ZomgTimer instead. :d Those are very accurate and easy to use.

And on RNGReporter, set your delay range 100-100 and second 1-1. Kill roamers before you start RNGing (they will appear again when you beat the Elite 4).

RNGReporter -> 4th Gen Tools -> Seed to Time

In the middle of the window there's boxes that allows you to set delay range/second range. You use this one to check the delay you hit, too.

Trying to rng an HP fire latias in heartgold, so Method 1, Timid, 31/X/31/30/31/30. Ive been running rng reporter with various min/max delays, max frames, and years, and im not getting finding anything. (A few spreads matched, but the attack stat was odd, so it wouldnt be HP Fire). Anyone know of a good Seed or how i can get a match?

15160A67 produces Timid 31/6/31/30/31/30 HP Fire 70 with Method 1 Frame 324 and Delay of 2652.

For future searches used PokeRNG(in first post) to search for spreads as it puts out results quicker than RNGReporter.

I am approaching the end of my Platinum Nuzlocke run, and I would like to RNG myself a well IV'd shiny Giratina, however, I've got some questions.

I understand that, in Platinum, if you KO Giratina in the Distortion World you can catch him at Turnback Cave post-game. If I do this, will the Giratina in Turnback Cave already have his IVs, etc. set in stone from the encounter in the Distortion World? I would honestly much prefer dealing with catching a legendary there as opposed to in the middle of the plot, as then I could balance my team around catching the sucker without having to worry about having deadweight mons in the fights against Cyrus and company.

If I do need to RNG the guy in the DW, I understand that every time you load the map increases the frame by 11. Could I use this to achieve really high frames with ease? Just open the item screen, close it, open it, close it, etc., advancing the frame by 11 every two button presses?

Hi guys, I'm going to try to RNG a Cresselia using method 1 on Platinum, and I was just wondering what the time in the reporter meant. And it didn't give an actual date and time so I'm assuming that I don't need one?

Use the Seed to Time window. Enter your seed, it will output dates and times along with a delay to hit. Remember Cresselia has a monster frame of 5.

^ that is not nearly enough information. From now onplease read through thefirst few posts and the guides linked there before asking such a easily found answer.

In DPPt any monster being sweet scented is two.
In HG/SS monsters have a frame of 1 and sweet scenting on a bike advances by (2 again).

Monster Frame factors into this formula which tells you how many advances you must do:

Target Frame-Monster Frame-Roamers=Frames to be advanced.

So from your previous post with a the photo, your target frame is 353-5 for monster frame-whatever roamers your still have roaming= Frame advancements.

ie, i have a ditto in the daycare already.

Something you would have to test, I'm not sure as I always deposit both my parents at the same time.

I'm not sure I understand your first question "does abusing the ID/SID effect the ivs shinyness of the starter", but abusing ID/SID is usually done for perfect shiny spreads(timid/modest) or for hexflawless shiny spreads. It's mostly for captures. It can also be used for the gift pokemon like starters and other gift pokemon.

I'm not sure what you mean by average frame. As to the birds, have you talked to Professor Oak to release them? If you haven't then yes they are roaming.

Oh iso the ID/SID has nothing to do with the starter? Sorry if that didnt make sense I dont really understand what abusing the ID/SID does. It only makes one iv spread shiny? I thought you abused it to make it easier to find shiny spreads.
