Use the shiny egg tab to search. Enter the wrong ID/SID if you want it non-shiny and of course use the right ID/SID if you want it shiny. Set min frame to 60 and max frame as high as you want (I use 200). In the shiny egg tab min/max frame is the PID frame. The IV frame is automatically set to 8 so you don't have to worry about it.This is probably really nooby, but I'm trying to RNG a flawless (Barring SP. Attack) Elekid. I have a PBR electivire (for Ice Punch) and a Flawless Japanese Ditto. I'm just not sure how to go about breeding. If anyone can tell me how to do breed with a perfect Ditto, I would love some help. I new to RNGing, but I've RNGed some Stationary and wild pokemon before.
Thank you!
I have an RNGreporter problem: I don't want my BW egg to be shiny, so I did what i used to do in the 4th GEN: changing the values of the ID and SID on the shiny egg tab to something completely different. But it still is returning shiny seeds to my ID and SID, and since I'm breeding a hidden power, IV ARE an issue. Help anyone?
*wants non-shiny egg checking box*
Could always go to the non-egg finder. Search for a 2-3 Iv's that you are going to want, set it to gift method. Set the min/max frame to 8 and 8. Search for 2-3 Iv's that are most important, and leave the rest blank. It'll generate seeds with those 3 important Iv's, and you can search the various PIDs that will fill in the other 2 IV's.
Just means your parents need to have the correct IV's for the other to slots.
Since, Korean Eggs aren't working, that's how I have to do all my breeding.
I'm going for an HP fighting DW Espeon and while I got a 30-all male I could only find either 31-all females or HP-grass/Ice females so...
=/
I'll have to chain breed those IVs then. No dignified Jolteons or Espeons should have to suffer shininess.
I meant like when searching for seeds.
For a Weezing seed, I searched for =31 HP, 31 SpAtk, and 31 Spe. Let it find about 1,000+ seeds. Started looking at each seed seeing where it has the parents adopt Def and SpDef.
Ok, so I went to the capture tab, set min/max frames to 8, locked hp=31, S.At = 30, Spd = 30 and it generated a list.
Now I copy the full seed, go to the main window, select breeding BW, paste the seed, and search for pids?
Pretty much :)
Just set the everstone nature, if there is one.
Since you're looking for DW, check the DW only. After that, just browse for PID's that fill in the IV's you want with the parent that has that IV. It takes a bunch more work sometimes, but that's the only way I know of. At least until OD comes out with the next RNG reporter.
Can't wait for that. And for a pokeRNG that will get all those seeds capture AND eggs at a 1/10000 of the time RNGreporter takes. And for a not-shiny egg checkbox.
Thanks for the help.
Maybe it's my english that is going downhill, but even with all thosenot really amusingjokes I don't think the BW breeding guide (linked on the initial posts) is very user friendly
Hey! I got how this works! Once you fix an IV frame'n'seed, the different PIDs will only define nature, ability, genere and overwrite the "original" IVs with the ones meant to be inherited leaving the other "original" ones intact.
Since the 30+ chatot flips are MUCH faster and waiting for RNGreporter's outputs on shiny, I just might give up the pretty pretty sparkles altogether.
Yeah that kinda went over my head a little XD;;. You mean the PID frame (the one Chatots are used for) or the other one?Actually, you probably hit an adjacent frame due to inheritance. Scan through RNG Reporter's output to see which one you ended up hitting. It'll probably be like 4 frames ahead of what you think you hit.
It also helps to give us the seed :P
You really should watch the videos/read the guides thoroughly and follow them as most guides explain the process step by step. The method is method 5 (standard seed) a.k.a. non c-gear method so you should never turn on the c-gear when doing anything associated with this method.... It just occurred to me. I think I had my C-Gear turned on at least one of the times I did the parameter check. Which now made me think, is the C-Gear supposed to be on/off during the check?
He means if you're thinking that RNG reporter's Calculated Initial PIDRNG Frame is your actual starting PID frame then you're wrong. RNG reporter can't account for NPC advancement. Your actual starting PID frame will usually be at least 4 higher than what RNG reporter predicts due to NPCs.Yeah that kinda went over my head a little XD;;. You mean the PID frame (the one Chatots are used for) or the other one?
You should get in the habit of saving your seeds to reuse them. If you right click in the time finder, RNG reporter gives the option to export the seed info to a CSV (excel type) file. You can also copy/paste the seed info via Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V.As for the seed I'll have to get a new one since I kinda lost it now.
I was wondering why proud of its power was your expected characteristic. That's characteristic indicates crappy IVs. You should have a flawless Ditto before you start RNG breeding and you should be able to RNG one yourself before you jump into breeding. RNGing a wild Pokemon like Ditto should be easier than RNGing an egg.I'm thinking about changing a parent anyway so that I can get some nicer shiny results (or yanno, just more to pick from), and I may just try a different Pokemon completely.
Cool, I'll try that, BTW I'm using PPRNG.
EDIT: How do you calculate the PID frames? I have the seed.
