5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

That's what I figured. I would never set the max Frames on the Time Finder Window to more than 6 for captures. Since you are starting, I would just stick with a min/max of 1 (I prefer it anyway). You have the IV frame confused with the PID frame. Once you find a good seed on frame 1, you will right click it, select Copy Full Seed to Clipboard, and paste it into the main window of RNG Reporter with the method set to Method 5 PIDRNG. Those are the frames you use Chatots to advance. If you'll send me a VM once you find a seed on Frame 1, I will be happy to help walk you through the rest the first time.

Hi, where can I find information about White Forest RNG abuse?
I found out that I have Herman in there and I want to catch a Porygon.
According to Kaphotics, White Forest RNGing is not practical on a DS. Just catch Porygon and RNG breed it.

If you're still interested in White Forest RNGing check the research thread for more info.

How can i register Chatter on emulator? I have a WebCam, but it doesn't work ._.
Just use Chatter. It should record a blank chatter which still advances the PID frame. If you want to know if your Chatot is working properly look at the Upper/lower seed (Seed2(U)/Seed1(L)). If the value changes when you view Chatot's summary that means it working properly.

Ok I'm going to try to breed a shiny instead. But the tab says 4th/5th gen shiny egg and there is no box to click for shiny, are they ALL shiny??

VCount: 0 - 100
Timer0: 100 - 700
GxStat: 6 - 6
VFrame: 0 - 20
MAC: 0009BF123456
I can use GxStat 5-7, Timer0 from 000 to FFF, check "Soft Reset" box or not, whatever i do i never find results -.-'

I set Initial Seed looking at (B) MTRNG Table in the RAMWatch

Yes, all the results you get will be for shiny eggs.

And what should I search for, start on frame 8, end on frame 50 or so if I use the withdraw from the computer. So I leave them in until there is an egg, then reset everything and go inside and hit my seed. Then come out asap? Or what is the best technique? Do the steps from leaving the place to the man add to the frame so should I accommodate for that? Would the steps allow more time for NPCs to offset the PIDRNG? I need tips please, what do you do?

Eggs start on frame 8 for IVs and you shouldn't be advancing the IV frame. The shiny egg tab uses only frame 8 for IVs. The min/max frame you see is the PID frame. Set min frame to 60 and max frame as high as you want. I find 200 is good enough.
You should save in front of the daycare man not inside the house. There's a breeding guide in post 3 and a video from bearsfan. Ignore the searching parts, pay attention to the rest.

Yeah Ive been watching the video and it uses the latest software so it is very easy to follow. Thank you for your answers throughout you are extremely helpful!!

It's like wild but it replaces certain encounter slots. I forget which ones though. Maybe 1 and 2 but that might be in 4th gen...

Expand the VFrame to 0 - 40, Timer0 from 000 to 999.

And no, don't use the Soft Reset option. I'm really guessing it's your VFrame though, you have to expand it. Mine turned out to be 2D, initally my search was only up to 20. So that makes a big difference.

I have that
Seed: 6BC4EE5B
Frame: 8
Spread: 30/31/30/29/30/0
Date: 24/11/2009
Hour: 4 hours 13 minutes 48 seconds
Timer0: 3CB
Keypress: None
I don't find any written guide, but i suppose i have to enter the game at that date and hour, hitting my seed, and collect my egg immediately (because egg's frame is 8), right?

Okay, I'm trying to calibrate it for the first time. I just can't seem to find ANY results. I'm using a R4 clone (N5) with an english white rom. Also, instead of victory road, I'm at Relic Castle, in the first room of Volcarona's maze. I tried higher ranges, but still, it's been 30 minutes I clicked 'Search' and nothing. Any advices?

*sorry if it's been asked before...i tried searching but couldn't find the answer...*

I'm trying to IVRNG roamer (not worrying about nature or shininess/PID)

Is it only possible on initial encounter? (route 7 house)

Or is it also possible after killing it and let it regenerate after E4?
If it's possible, at what point does the roamer actually 'regenerate'? / when should I try to hit the seed for IVRNG?
Would this be easier/harder than trying to RNG it's IV on initial encounter?

thank you...

I had the same problem. Go to Config > Emulation Settings and disable Bus-Level timing (uncheck it), then try to search with those parameters

VCount: 0 - 100
Timer0: 000 - FFF
GxStat: 6 - 6
VFrame: 0 - 20

Timer0 from 000 to FFF will require a lot of time, but do that. If you are sure you did everything right, set VFrame as 0-40 and GxStat as 5-7

Advice: set as minimum and maximum seconds your secons, because results with seconds different than yours are wrong

I tried for 30/31/30/29/30/0, and i got an egg with 14/26/17/31/0/31... why? FG
Use the guides in post 3. Tesseraction's breeding guide/bearsfan's video. For eggs 3 IVs are inherited from the parents and 3 from the seed depending on what PID frame you hit so in addition to hitting your seed (IV frame) you also need to hit the correct PID frame.

You should RNG the roamer on route 7. Doing it at the e4 is nearly impossible.

I tried to follow what you said, and am waiting for it to finish. I just didn't understand what meant with the 'Go to Config > Emulation Settings and disable Bus-Level timing (uncheck it)'. Is it in the flashcart? As i use n5, wood, it doesn't seem to have that option...
Sorry for being such a noob ;/

Edit: aparently, you're using Desmume right? I'm using a flashcart, so, I'm not sure what to do...
