5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Have a sync with desired nature or advancing the pid frame.

IF you go for the second one

Calculate initial pid frame by setting your seed in reporter's main menu and select Method 5 PIDRNG.Press the button calculate initial pidrng frame then find a frame with desired nature.Do the necessary advancements with chatters or by saving.(walknig,saving and viewing chattot's summary if it has a recorded chatter advance the pid frame)Read the first posts carefully they explain everything you need to know
 
Alrighty, thank you.
I tried saving to advance the PID frame, but after I got up to +6, I got lazy.
I'm just gonna go for Synchronize. It's easier.

Also, if you don't mind be asking, what does PID stand for?

EDIT: Also, is a Pokemon with a combination of 30 & 31 IVs considered near Flawless, or can it only have one 30 stat with the others being 31?

Use the wrong ID/SID in the shiny egg tab and it won't be shiny.

Guides in the 3rd post. Go read/watch them. Use a sweet scenter to encounter the Pokemon.

You should get a Chatot (or 2). Much faster to advance the PID frame via Chatot. All you have to do is use the move chatter outside of battle and record something into the DS mic. Then you simply view your Chatot's summary and it advances the PID frame by 1 per view. You can flip between the summaries of 2 Chatots to advance the PID frame quickly.

I can't hit my seed, that's extremely disappointing -.-' But just now i'm thinking that this can be the error
RNG says Date: 09/15/11; Hour: 02/16/56

That means that?

Year: 2011
Month: 9
Day: 15

Hour: 2
Minute: 16
Second: 56
That's the only thing i can do wrong
 
i can not breed another shiny scraggy. I always seem to get a starting pid, but cant advance right. how do i advance right. I have done it 1 time before

Same seed one has the IVs I want the other doesn't have it.

Now I am on route 4 standing next to two immobile NPCs in a sand storm. Trying to use super rod to get a calm clamperl. Is there anyway to hit my seed in the sand storm?

You need to get rid of the sand storm. To do this, change the date on your DS forward by a month to change the season and start the game. Leave the area you are RNGing in and the come back. Now, if the sand is gone, just save and change the time back to hit your seed. The sand will still be gone even though the date has changed.

We are going to need more information than that to be of much help to you. The best way to advance frames is by viewing summaries of Chatots which have a custom chatter recorded. What seed are you using, what do you think is your starting PID, are you using an Everstone or a Ditto, are you still getting the target ivs when you are advancing? Answers to these questions would help us figure out your problem.
 
Ok, I am breeding with flawless Smeargle and a Flawless Scraggy. I am going for an adamant shiny scraggy. I can find a starting pid, but can not advance. I start on my chandulure and move up and down to chatot. It is modest. I am C7F, 60 and 6. so, ya. I have got a shiny adamant 1 time, but i need 3.... :D

Can you copy the seed you are using and post it here or send me a VM? Also, when you try to advance are you getting anything different than your starting frame or is it not advancing at all?
 
When trying to figure out what frame I'm at for PIDRNG and I'm figuring out natures, I'm getting Terrakion that don't have the IVs of my Seed after a while.
Does anyone know what's happening? I'm learning how to do this any the video doesn't explain it all that well.

Edit: Helped and RNGed my First Pokemon. :D

Yea I can't get rid of the sand I tried that and it didn't work. It works with for though.

You can find Clamperl only fishing on Route 4, and you can't RNG if there's the sandstorm... the only advice i can give you is: capture one with random IVs and then breed him

I've got a question about using a Synchronizer when going for shiny/non-shiny standard seed pokemon.

I'm sure I've hit the correct seed and frame since I get the IVs and shinyness that I wanted, although it seems the nature of the Cobalion always ends up Hardy even though I'm using a Jolly synchronizer. Caught it atleast 10 times.

Are some PIDRNG frames impossible to alter with a Synchronizer?
