I was wondering what the best EV spread would be for a Mixed Hydreigon. With the moves Earthquake, Crunch, Flamethrower, and Dragon Pulse.

There are better choices for a Hydreigon set. I could probably tailor the EVs if I knew what the set is trying to do. Is Earthquake for Heatran? If you want to run a physical set, Replace Dragon Pulse with either Dragon Claw or Outrage, and give it the following EVs: 252 Attack / 4 Special Attack / 252 Speed with a Lonely or Naughty nature. If you switch Flamethrower to Fire Blast and give Hydreigon a Life Orb, you have a guaranteed OHKO on all variants of Ferrothorn. Heatran and Skarmory are OHKOed by Earthquake and Fire Blast, respectively.

The set is:

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Lonely / Naughty (Naughty is preferable)
252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

Outrage / Dragon Claw
Crunch
Earthquake
Fire Blast

Thank you, the Hydreigon is supposed to be a late game sweeper.

It depends on the Pokemon. Chansey would evolve relatively quickly, having a huge base happiness, while Buneary (who has a base happiness of 0 IIRC) would take just about forever to evolve. To evolve, a Pokemon must reach 220 happiness.

Pichu's base happiness is 70. It does not appear to be known how often happiness increases in Gen IV and V - if it's 1 per 256 steps, as in Gen 3, then while doubled by the Soothe Bell, it should take 19200 steps, but it may be more or less frequent than this.

Just wondering if there are any uses for the event Zoroark with Snarl. Most Zoroark sets run Timid or Jolly and as this one is always Quirky, is there any real use for it in competitive battling?

No. You need to hit hard, and hit fast with Zoroak, or you'll be KO'd.

So this event was basically given out just so we can have access to Snarl finally? Again, Quirky seems useless.

Yeah, it is useless. It's like Quiet Eruption Heatran, which is close to useless but it's just another option to expand your creativity. Keep in mind that Gamefreak doesn't always (or usually) have competitive play in mind

The thing is, should i use two attacking moves, or slash one out for protect? And if i do, which one? Also, what attacking move is best on defensive forretreds?

I personally use

-power whip
-gyro ball
-leech seed
-protect/spikes.

It all depends on your team

ANOTHER THING. I have my own question.

Is it possible to hack a Male chansey or a male litigant or is that just not programmed in and thus not possible?

Power Whip / Leech Seed / Protect / Filler.

Filler being Spikes, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave or Gyro Ball.

Power Whip is the better choice if you're only using one attack. It has higher PP, deals consistent damage, and scores a super effective hit on the Water and Ground-types you wall. ProSeed (Protect + Leech Seed) is a must on Ferrothorn, as it gives you surprisingly effective and reliable recovery, wears down opponents simultaneously, and gives you more legroom to stall and scout with Protect.

I call protect+leech seed leetect, but watever

Yes, protect is really good on ferrothorn because it also scouts for random hp fires.

Are gender ratios at all skewed in the Dream World? I seem to run into male Pokémon substantially more often than female Pokémon (and not just on Pokémon that have a 75% or 87.5% chance of being male in the game).

Also, do all Pokémon have an equal chance of appearing (assuming I have enough points), or are some more common than others? There are Pokémon that I run into almost every day, and others that I hardly ever run into.
