Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Reposting, since this is the start of page 90. SPLers, you know what that means...

Starting a scramble on Platinum; however, there's a catch. Similar to the Scramble Premier League, you can only assign the species. To make it hard on myself, this is also a no-STAB run. A few more rules: no Normal-types because they don't get anything that isn't STAB, no Gyarados/Milotic for obvious reasons, and everything must be fully evolved.

This is post #2222, which means that Page 90 starts in 4 posts.

Yes, I can trade. I can and will hack evolution items onto a flashcart.

Team:

INFERNAPE (EndQuote)
STEELIX (King Serperior) - Rock moves allowed post-evolution, as it loses its Rock-type designation
DRIFBLIM (Gamer40000)
FLOATZEL (Mygavolt)
ROSERADE (Jimera0)
ALAKAZAM (waterwarrior)

bwburke, take an Alakazam. Have fun.

LISTEN UP EVERYPONYBODY

The voting list for the page 100 Scramble awards is being formatted right now. No nominations will be accepted except for Axmaster's current HG team, who have had placeholders since he announced the challenge. I will include a link to the discussion page when it is all finished. Carry on.

EDIT: this will take a while, i have to leave my house halfway through -.-
EDIT Edit: Dear god that took a long time. Here's the link. So um, yea. I'm gonna need a cup of coffee now.

Okay guys, time to announce my decision! Even though are edits to be made to some, here is my offical team of 7:

Jimera's Alchemist the Bellsprout
Treadshot's BulleTech the Scyther (thank you for following my rules!!)
KS's Sunshine the Nidoran-M
The Reptile's RPG Hero the _________
Professor Science's Personality the Eevee (tune in to find out my evolution)
Waterwarrior's Thu'um the __________
Somebody's (I'll edit the name in later) the Abra

The mistakes in the title have frankly gone too far. It's driving me bonkers.
Us too. It's not IAR's doing, it's forced on us by the mods. Even if IAR'S tried to change it, it would just go back.

Break free from mod oppression! -starts re-enacting Les Miserables, without the part where we all die-

noooooooo! My challenges, they weren't picked -sob- why weren't they picked, out of curiosity?

oh well, I had fun making them, its too bad that almost everyone wrote paragraphs of challenges.
I'm gonna keep Maia as a held challenge for someone else. She seems like an awesome little challenge, to be honest.
Has anyone else noticed that most of my recent challenges involve breaking, then fixing, a pokemon?

Hey guys, I'd like to do a Scramblocke of Emerald. The rules:
1) No trades.
2) All pokes must be able to fully evolve.
3) Easy difficulty.
4) 12 scramblemons.
5) No type overlaps, if possible.
6) I have the right to reject challanges.
7) Please nothing too tedious or annoying.

So without further ado, fire away!
(oh and I will be documenting this one too.)

Prof. Take a Zizagoon called Smooth. It really hates the fact that it wasn't created on Pokemon Box, and thus can't use Extremespeed. So, it has to try and max out its speed as much as possible. Have Smooth fight at least 50 Pokemon who give out speed EVs before the eighth gym. Make sure Smooth holds the Silk Scarf. Lastly, use Smooth to solo every single Pokemon in the Fortree Gym, no using the Pokemon Center in between and no using healing items.

Prof Science, catch a Ralts and name her Courage.
Unfortunately, Courage is actually quite a coward, so she must start every trainer battle with a Double Team before she can attack. (After level 11)
She must be switched out or healed if she reaches yellow health or below.

She must solo Brawly to evolve to Kirlia.

As a Kirlia, this Psychic type is beginning to understand her power.
Previous restrictions no longer apply, but she can only use Psychic-type moves.

She can evolve to Gardevoir if she soloes two trainers in the Psychic-type gym.

As a Gardevoir, she embraces that, although Psychic is the best type, she should diversify. Have her learn four moves of four different types before the elite four.

She must use each move at least once in the Elite Four, and must solo at least two E4 Pokémon.

Professor Science, take Mario the Makuhita.

As with all Mario games, Mario starts out with five lives. Mario knows some good techniques the game, so why should this Mario be any different?

You can collect a MAX of 2 1UPs. They are given to you if you solo your rival at the Big shopping center and if you solo a Gym leader.

Teach him these techniques:
1). Brick Break (He has to break bricks in game, so.....you get the idea here.)
2). Surf (Mario needs to be ready for those worlds filled with water, does he not?)
3). Attract (For those pretty girls locked in a Castle)
4). Earthquake (Mario can Ground Pound the enemy, so so should you!)

Mario's one purpose in life is to defeat Bowser once and for all!! Have him solo Drake's Salamence.

Before you can do that, however, you must find and defeat 3 Bowser Jrs.

You can find them in these locations:

One is located on Magma Leader Maxie's team in the Magma Hideout (Camerupt).

One is located on Aqua Leader Archie's team in the Seafloor Cavern (Sharpedo).

The final location of the Bowser Jrs is in Victory Road. This is the most powerful of the Jrs, so you must be careful in your solo. Find Cooltrainer Vito and defeat him in order to find out where Bowser is located!!

Have fun and good luck :P

Oh hey, Challenge is spelled correctly now. Woop de doo.

Professor Science, take a Skarmory, named "Invincible". And indeed, Skarmory, as the premier physical wall of Pokémon will prove itself damn near invincible, and an excellent barrier for your team. To keep it healthy, teach it Rest via TM (I believe it's obtained in Lilycove), and it should do its best to stay a difficult to hit as possible, via usage of Fly and Double Team. Solo a major battle of your choice.

Reserving for Prof Science.

Mr. Science, take NoGhost the Poochyena.

This Poochyena is scared of ghosts, and he must try to overcome that weakness.
First, he must be scared of them. Give him Dig to evade from the ghosts, Howl to make himself seem tougher, Roar to follow up on that, and any move for the last slot. He can only evolve after you learn the static 3.
Once he evolves, name him IEATHEMALL. And yes, he does eat them all.
You must set up Sunny Day to weaken the ghosts, Shadow Ball to beat fire with fire, Taunt because he is better, and Torment because he loves rubbing that in their faces. You must set up Sunny Day against all ghosts and water types, solo all ghosts, and solo Phoebe and Glacia because one trains ghosts and the other looks like a ghost.

Have late fun!

Placeholder for Prof Science, it'll be a Wailmer.

Take a Wailmer and name it RollyPolly. RollyPolly loves to roll around, and as such must always have Rollout in his moveset. In order to evolve, have him get to the 5th Rollout on a Gym Leader, or failing that, two gym trainers.

But hang on, when he evolves he becomes a Wailord... which isn't a ball anymore! RollyPolly must now forget Rollout, as he is no longer able to roll as he used to. This makes RollyPolly sad, so he must cry. CRY TEARS OF POWER! He must always have the most powerful Water-Type attack available to you, culminating in Water Spout when it becomes available. Have him use this move to drown his opponents in sorrow at least once in every major battle he participates in (major battle meaning rival, aqua/magma admins, gym leaders, elite four members, etc.)

Enjoy!

Well, might as well do an XD scramble since I wanted to play through it anyway. Never beat it, so... aye. I will be catching all of the shadows and purifying, so if you make me kill one, I'll kill YOU.

Obvious joking aside, make it as hard or as easy as you want, I don't care.

Also, for my Crystal run, how the heck am I supposed to solo Morty with Pidgeotto when it can't use Gust/all status moves can't be obtained, unless you want me to grind up to Wing Attack. I went on and replaced Gust, but can easily get Mud Slap via TM...

I can update if you folks want, I don't really care... *shrug* I will update after E4, but dunno if you normally expect them earlier, that kinda thing...

Thanks guys, these are great.
@Treadshot A1, that looks fun but the Fortree Gym solo looks difficult, especially considering that its a Scramblocke. Still, I'll take it!

@EndQuote, that's perfect, just what I was looking for! Thanks!

@King Serperior, that is a perfect challange. Except for one thing- I'm going to give Mario ONE life, so make it fair (since all the other pokes will only have one) It doesn't look like it'll make it much harder anyway, with such an awesome moveset.

@Son_of_Shadoo, another great challange. Although this means I'm going to have to buy at least one Double Team TM from the Game Corner. *sigh* Still accepted, though!

@Jimera0, that's awesome. It should be very interesting, as I've never used a Wailmer in any game before. Thanks!

So here's the pokes I already have:
1) Treadshot's Zigzagoon
2) Endquote's Ralts
3) King Serperior's Makuhita
4) Son_of_Shadoo's Skarmory
5) Jimera0's Wailmer
6) Obbmud99's Shroomish
7) GrassBlade's Magnemite
8) Reserved for gamer40000
9) Reserved for Axmaster68
10) (kinda) reserved for Jimera0
11) --
12) --

Types still available: Fire, Grass, Poison, Electric, Ground, Rock, Ice, Bug, Dragon, Ghost, Dark.

I would like it if I could have a starter. Also, I forgot to mention this in the original post but you can give me two pokes each. (I'll edit it in now.)

(And now it's a Challenge? I want my Challange back!!)

EDIT: Yea, I'm lazy and my creativity isn't that high right now, so recycling is fun :3
Pikapwnd, take NoGrass the Mudkip. It knows of his horrid weakness to Grass, and wants to stay away from them as much as possible. However, it wants to conquer its fear, so it needs to solo 10 Grass types to evolve into Marshtomp and 25 more to evolve into Swampert. However, after those solos, it can never fight a Grass type again, for fear it will get mauled because of the type disadvantage. It can never fight May's Grovyle/ Sceptile. It must solo Wattson, as he only cares about his weakness to Grass, and couldn't care less about the Electric type.

Oh yea, Fluttershy > Pinkie.

EDIT: @GrassBlade, I'm 99% sure he meant that you can give whatever you want, make him have a ton of grinding/drudgery, it can have a trade evolution, etc.
EDIT EDIT: No that was serious

Wait, if we don't give restrictions, then do we just name pokemon. K then, Take a Shroomish named BL?!?!?!

Edit: Was that Sarcasm. Online sarcasm is hard to detect.
Edit2: K then, but if this is hard, blame Waterwarrior. ^_^
Anyways, did you know that Breloom was BL in Gen3? And his benefits were Spore and resistance to Ground and Rock. Well, this Shroomish wants to live up to that. Always keep one status move for BL. Also, he/she must switch in onto all Rock and/ or Ground types you should encounter (non-solo). Solo May's Sceptile/ Grovyle everytime as well. Have fun. I made this kinda easy so if that was sarcasm, I'm not screwed. >.>

Pika, take a Torkoal and name him Smoky.
This Torkoal loves to hax foes like crazy, so he can only use moves that have a chance to inflict status.
He can only use Fire-type attacks over 60 BP against foes with a status condition.

He must solo every trainer in Norman's gym. (Not including Norman)

Good luck!
