I've been away from Smogon since like early December, and now I'm getting back into it. I updated my PO to the newest one on the PO Downloads page (I think it's 1.0.5.3, I could check if it really matters).

However, when I try and enter the SU server it just gives me a blank screen, and it can't seem to actually get into the server.
So has the SU server been down a lot lately or is there some glitch in this version of PO or what? I'm sure someone who's been here all this time will be able to tell if Smogon is having server troubles again.............

The server is having really bad lag, try to close and reopen PO a few times

Thanks, pwnemon/Novaray, at least I know it's not my computer.
And yeah, I finally got access but you're right, the lag was awful.

I just connected to the dream world for the first time and unlocked Arceus with the password. It said Arceus would be sent to my game the next time I connected, but I haven't seen it anywhere. How can I send what I unlock in the Dream World to my game? Also, how can I get to the Entree?
You need to upload a pokemon to DW in your BW game card. Then wake up it and you can see a LV100 Arceus in Entree Forest (Top part).

The PokéCheck site states:

You can receive a copy of any of your pokemon holding a premier ("clone") ribbon.
Does this just mean that you can clone any Pokémon, including those who have a ribbon that normally prevents them from being uploaded to the GTS?

To avoid cloning only claimed pokemon can be exported to .pkm
What exactly does this mean? Is the use of PokéCheck solely for cloning discouraged?

My friend gave me a Female Speed Boost Torchic. I noticed it is not allowed in random match up due to it being illegal. If I breed it and get a Male Speed Boost torchic will that be allowed in the random matchups?

Is there a tool or calculator for determining which Pokémon resist certain attacking type combinations? I grow weary of always doing it in my head

Say I Trick a Lagging Tail onto an opponent. Will they still move at normal speed for that turn or will Lagging Tail force them to go last starting the turn the item is Tricked onto them? Guess this is more technically applicable to non-Singles, but still.

I also need a good damage calc since it's been a long long while, did the smogon one ever get updated by chance?

I've been hearing reports of a new pokemon called "Mewthree," are any of these reports based on fact, or do these people really not know what they're talking about?

I am going to straight up call cahoots on that news report and predict that it is a bunch of bologna! Mewthree is actually recognized as a Fakemon by Bulbapedia, which is pretty significant. If there were somehow a new Pokemon coming out (which realistically isn't within the realm of possibilities in BW), you'd definitely see a topic within this forum.

The reports you heard might have been in reference to the Mewtwo event that is going on for English versions of Pokemon Black and White? I'm not sure though; best of luck in your future endeavors! If you have any more questions on whether a "report" is fake or not, make sure to cite your source by linking it within your post.

Yeah, Mewthree rumors have been around since RBY, not gonna happen likely. Heck, my brother and I long thought way way back then (when we were 10 and 8 respectively) that there must be a Mewthree out there somewhere. Though the rumors of Dragonite turning into Yoshi were more fun imo.

Speed changes always take place on the turn after so your opponent would move at normal speed that turn. If you want to force your opponent to move last, use Quash instead.

This is the damage calculator I use. It's essentially the same as smogon's 4th Gen, but it has all of the 5th stuff.

Is there any way to restart my game without having to restart the Dream World? For example, since one Black Version and one White Version can be synchronized to one PGL account, could I sync both games to one account, restart one of those games, and sync the new file to the same account, keeping my progress in the DW since there was still a game synched to my account the whole time?

Not as far as I am aware, you would need another account to use the same cart again if you already registered it to a name. You can't have a White cart twice for example.

Thanks, I had been hearing rumors (probably the better word for this), for a couple years, right before the release of Emerald, even. That really cleared that up.

OK, in that case I'd go with Totodile. Because Chicorita makes you pull your hair out (which is funny on youtube sometimes, hence the question) and with Cyndaquil it's too easy to sweep some gyms, thus removing some challenge imo.

So yeah, when using Totodile it isn't too easy but you won't lose hair while playing through the game.

Chikorita, pokemon story modes are easy enough unless doing a Nuzlocke so at least give yourself some kind of challenge
