5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

For the Mewtwo. I use Wondercard option and get a Seed. Should I bother with the frame? I mean do I start at a certain Starting frame, or should I just search for any "time" that corresponds to an appropriate IV spread and nature for the Mewtwo, start the game without C-gear and immediately talk with the delivery guy?

After I pick up an egg from the daycare in B/W, what's the fastest way of confirming that I've hit the seed that I want without having to hatch the egg?

after you get the egg go to a place where you can catch a high level pokemon(i suggest flying to the base of the victory road directly).then go inside the victory road ,sweet scent ,and catch a pokemon, get its ivs . compare its ivs with the iv frames of your seed (between 14-20)(i always get 14th frame iv set).then you hit your seed.go ahead and hatch your egg

You need to copy the seed into the main window of RNG Reporter. Select the method (Wondercard (5th Gen)), paste the seed, and calculate the starting frame. Now, subtract that from the frame given in the Time Finder window next to your seed. For example, if your starting frame was 50, and the target frame was 75, then you'd need to do 25 advances. So, when you get into the game after hitting your target time, you'd view Chatot's summary 25 times, then talk to the man. Make sure to be in a Pokémon Center with no WNPCs (e.g. Victory Road).

Could someone please help me?
I'm fairly new to RNG and I cannot get past the Calibration Phase.
I tried using a DS Lite and 3DS.
Here is what I do:
First I wait for the next minute to hit (Let's say it is 2:30pm and I'm trying start my game at 2:31pm from the ds menu). I wait till I see the animation sequence with N. After that I skip all the scenes until I can select my file. I press "No" when I get asked to enable the C-Gear. I start at Victory Road where no NPC's are. I immediately use sweet scent (I have 5 Pokemon's in my team) and catch the Pokemon I encounter. I check its IV's and hit search but then I get no results.
I tried this about 20 times with both DS Lite and 3DS.

So my question is now:
1. Do I need to enter the time when I encounter the Pokemon OR after I caught the Pokemon?
2. Did I do something wrong in the Calibration Phase.

You enter the time you pressed "a" to boot your game from the DS Start menu.
As far as I am reading you are doing everything right. But to be sure read the guides again.

Hi there guys, I received the mystery gift content of Reshiram/Zekrom in the Netherlands (V&D). I know how to RNG wilds and eggs, but how do you RNG a mystery gift who hasn't been collected yet?^^

Where can I find the calculation option for the starting frame. All options I got are time finder, generate and ds parameters...is my version of the rngreporter old?

Thanks. By "IV frames," I assume you mean frames 14-20 from "Gen 5 IVs (Standard Seed)" on the main window?

It should appear once you've selected Wondercard (5th Gen) as your method and pasted your seed. It'll be above the DS Parameters Search button in the main window.

Yeah, that's what he means. But you don't have to fly to Victory Road. I just go down to Route 3 and catch a Pokemon there. Then I look at its characteristic (which tells you the highest IV it has, even if it's not perfect) and look frame 14-20 to see if its characteristic matches one of the frames. Serebii.net has a page on characteristics if you don't know them by heart (Idk if anyone does...) under game mechanics.

You can also check the Pokemon's Hidden Power type with the guy in Mistralton's Pokemon Center and match that HP type to one of the frames.

If you're pressing "Yes" at the same second every time and you're getting a nature on those frames, then yeah, if you press yes earlier you'll hit higher frames. Alternatively, you could just press yes at the same time you usually do, go into the forest and walk up to the Pokemon and stop it from moving, then wait however many seconds your target is away from the frame you're hitting constantly and battle it.

Well actually, I meant pressing Yes on the Pokemon to battle it. I've been using a separate timer with a milliseconds display to count up from when I turned on the C-Gear, but I haven't been getting a nature that's close to my target frame's seconds count. I might have to recheck if I'm even hitting my standard seed correctly...

I'm not going for shiny, and i'm always using frame 1. I don't doubt it's possible as i've managed to encounter perfect *everything elese in giant chasm* It's just that i can't search with encounter slots (standard abuse has never actually used them before) and it's therefore taking many years of seeds to find one which'll yield me a ditto...
I never said anything about shiny. You just need to find the first PID frame on your seed that has the right encounter slot (and nature, if you're going for a certain nature). The Ditto I RNG'd wasn't shiny, but I still had to Chatter for it.
why is min/max frame 55/60? And why there is only one kind of frame? Is that the one who advances with chatters? Quite different from breeding o.o
The min is 55 because the PIDRNG can start anywhere from 40-55, so if you set it lower, there's no guarantee you'll be able to hit it. The maximum, on the other hand, can be as high as you're willing to go.

There's only one kind of frame because the IVs/nature/etc. all come from the same frame, so you only have to use Chatter to get to where you want.

Research post with a full guide and explanation will be up later today, but for now --

You need to take the time and delay of your C-Gear seed and work backwards to find your Standard Seed.

1) Before you attempt this, move all Entralink Pokemon except your target into the Deep Clearing. This minimizes the effect of randomly moving Pokemon on your timing.

2) Let's say I have a C-Gear seed with a date of 2\14\2012, a time of 3:59:57 and a delay of 5623. Each delay is 1\60 of a second, so we need to divide it by 60 to get the total number of seconds. 5623 / 60 = 93.7 seconds.

3) Subtract 93.7 seconds from my C-Gear seed time to get the time of the standard seed, because that's when delay starts counting. 3:59:57 - 93.7 seconds = 3:58:23

4) Plug the date, time, and your DS parameters into the Adjacent Seed tool (under the 5th Gen Tools menu), and click Generate. You'll be given a list of standard seeds. Seeds in white have your target seconds; seeds in grey are adjacent seconds and\or Timer0s. The tool will also give you Chatot pitches for each seed so you can verify your seed.

5) Plug the seed in the main window, with Gen 5 PIDRNG and Entralink Pokémon selected. Calculate the initial PIDRNG frame. Look for a frame that has the nature you want, but also gives you enough time to get into the Entralink. (50 seconds minimum is ideal.) It also should not be on a "skip" frame.

6) When doing your Chatters to verify your seed, you must do them in a multiples of 3, otherwise the timing and skipped frames will change.

7) When you turn on the C-Gear, that is when you must start keeping track of time. Enter the Entralink when necessary.

8) Move to the forest as quickly as possible and then talk to the Pokemon to stop it from moving. Wait until the timer says you have reached your target frame, then select "Yes" to encounter your Pokemon. If you were successful, your Pokemon should have your desired nature. If not, the moving Pokemon's advancements may have messed up your frame.

Does the amount of Pokémon in the main Entralink area affect the PIDRNG frame? Mine is completely full and I have to go through it before walking to Deepest Clearing.

Why do you have to get to the Deepest Clearing?

You're supposed to move everything from the main Entralink area to the Deepest clearing, except for the Pokemon you want to catch.

Looks like I've been hitting my Standard Seed correctly this whole time... So now I'm just not sure why my nature is so off. I've used a timer on my phone and an online timer but no dice. The nature is always very far away in seconds from my target, so I don't really know what I'm doing wrong at this point...

The Pokémon advance the frame unpredictably just like wandering NPCs do. Like PoJ said, you want to move your target Pokémon to the front and everything else to the Deepest Clearing.

About that Entralink nature RNG guide...
What does that time mean?
When does it start? The moment C-Gear is turned on?
Or is it the moment the standard seed time is hit?
Or the moment the DS time is changed?
And is it ok if I turn on the C-Gear when turning on the DS?

For example, if the time I soft-reset is 9:07:18.65...
The time to press the A button to encounter the poke will start at 9:07:18.65?
Or at 9:07:00?
Or when I turn on the C-Gear? (if I decide not to turn it on upon turning the DS on)

New page.
BTW, this entire entralink poke nature RNG is still flawed as of now?

I wish I hadn't simply skimmed through Omega's post. I completely misread what he said =X Thanks for pointing it out. It's especially embarrassing because he clearly said "everything but." Oh well, everyone makes mistakes, I shouldn't be this hard on myself, haha.

I have another question.
I tried now to hatch a Shiny and Perfect Pokemon. But I don't have a clue how I do advance the frame. Let's say my frame needs to me 65 and I start at 8 so I must hear 57 times Chatot in the status screen and then receive my egg, right?

My questions is:
I know there are wandering npcs who advancing my frame but is there a way to check of what amount they are advancing my frame (I mean, after I start the game and select my save file and let the c-gear off, quickly I open the menu and hear my Chatots to advance my frame and quickly close the menu and talk to him to receive my egg so I can after that calculate of what amount the npcs advancing my frame.)?

There are two types of frames. The IV frame and the PID frame.
Usually the IV frame is set to the minimum, so you don't really need to worry about that.
The PID frame is advanced, as you stated, by listening to Chatot. Your frame will never be 8. There is a minimum that the game sets it to. It's like 30 something to 50 ish.

As for determining how many frames the NPCs advance, you just don't the Chatot calls, see what frame you hit. Subtract the frame you hit from the Initial frame. Then take that number, subtract it from total number of Chatot calls needed. That number will be how many times you listen to Chatot.
