Rare Candies - What's the best way to get a lot of them?

I lost my Exp. Share today by accidentally releasing a Pokémon still holding it, and later I spent nine of my ten Rare Candies on one poke, but forgot to Soft Reset after checking IVs. This has slowed down my breeding to a crawl.

Now, I need to find more Rare Candies, but I don't know where to find other ones, and I doubt there are that many left hidden on the ground. Also, their cost in BP of 48 at the shop doesn't really cut it either.

So is there a solution that would bring me back lots of Rare Candies so I could continue checking my poke's stats?
 
Not the best method, but one that would eventually work is a pokemon with PickUp... Doubt you'd want to raise it to Lvl80+ for it to be useful thoough. Oh, you could get rare candies on past gen games and migrate them over on some pokes. That's how I got my 8.
 
I would suggest asking for both an Exp Share and Rare Candies at the GameFAQs trading board. I lost my Exp Share in the exact same way, and got one easily there. I've also gotten a ton of items and Pokemon by trading Pokemon/items that I had plenty of. I suggest saving your unwanted hatched babies to mass trade there; you'll probably get plenty of what you're looking for.
 
IV Battles can be inconvinent. If you only need to know the general range of your IVs, Rare Candies are good enough.
 
I've got 6 level 94 Linoone's ready to Pick Up whenever I get bored of breeding...I farm so many Rare Candie's lol. Still haven't got a freakin' EQ TM though >_>;
 
sounds like dan dan needs to give me some linoones....

you can get another expshare from the lottery when you match 4 numbers and besides that try lvling with the vs seeker for better xp. besides all that the fastest way to actually get rare candies is to use a pickup pokemon or get them transferred/traded

This is pretty much the way to go... People there (And I noticed at the Serebii Trading Chat) go insane for "rares". Aka the extra pokemon you get from breeding. I've gotten 6 Rare Candies just by trading DD Charmanders and Larvitars. And I got a Jirachi for a Squirtle... So I'd also suggest going there for some great deals. Just find the right people. =D

I wouldn't even use Rare Candies. Sure, it levels Pokémon up real quick, and it raises stats normally, but the Pokémons EV's don't go up. (You probobly already knew that, but I was just checking.)

Do you breed? I don't think so...

Apart from the IV usage, you should be done with EV training by Lv70-78. Why do you want to level up those last 22-30 levels...?

Same here. The fact that they can learn Covet is a plus. I'm stealing Electirizers and Magmarizer at the same time I'm Pick Uping. Good GTS tradebait.

I've got like a million Leftovers but not a single EQ TM. =/

I had a similar struggle in Emerald when I used up the last of my EQ TMs. It took me forever to get one. After that I made sure I had enough cloned in Emerald to not run out.
 
do what I did for PickUp Linoons.
Use old regular DS with ruby in it, do bike on slope trick with linoone in daycare, leave for 2-3 days, get 2 lv100 linoons, palpark to diamond. repeat.
Have like 8 now, haven't had a chacne to find someone to trade the 2 extra too, probably try to find one this weekend.

Bike on slope trick??? Otherwise that sounds ingenious (except that I need to find Linoones then).

I think I heard about that trick -- if its the one that involves surfing to some point and letting the water push you back or something... But, just incase I'm wrong -- which I think I am -- could you tell me the trick?
 
As some ppl have said before, I find the best method to have some high level pokemons with pickup to gain rare candies among other useful things.

I do it all the time while EV training and for swarm of the day, and I always bring a lvl 100 false swiper (in case a shiny appear I don't want to kill it accidentally, in extrem cases such as explosion/recoil I would use a masterball), the pokemon I want to EV train and 3/4 pickupers lvl 100 (depending if I need fly or not).

Every few minutes (of battles), each of the pokemons ends with a rare candy, and with 3/4 pickupers, they stack pretty quick. They also may find you other useful items, such as TM26 (picked four atm).

In case you don't have enough rare candies to begin lvl the first(s) pickupers, offering in GTS a Dialga/Palkia for a lvl 100 pokemon who learn pickup use to work for me.
 
When I have nothing else better to palpark, I usually attach rare candies to my breeding rejects, transfer them to my other carts through pokemon box, palpark, bag the items, then release most the rejects. Since I can always clone for more rare candies in emerald, I can always get up to 24 rare candies per game per day.

I'd love to have those 2 extra. I've only got 1 level 100 Linoone.

Rare Candies are used to check IVs of Pokemon quickly. You do NOT want them to gain EVs.
 
also nice thing about having a party of level 91+ linoones in party while EV training is certain evolution stones such as shiny, dawn & dusk are common pickup items as well.

The surf one probably works, but I use the slope things by the daycare center, you know how like slightly northeast is that desert storm area, I just find a nice slope, get in front of it, and put a staff on top of the up button so it keep trying to ride up, but will keep sliding back down.

The pokemon in the daycare center will keep getting 1xp per step.
With Linoons and zigazoons at lv24-34, it takes me roughyl 2-3 days. Not that much seeing how I spend most of my time at work, asleep or playing pearl, heh.

I don't have emerald, so this could be a solution to those of you who don't have emerald and no way to clone.
 
I also have gotten my lv100 abra or lv100 magikarp(w/ scope lens omg) and lv100 metapods.

very handy for some of the weirder GTS trades up..
