Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - VGC edition

If there was a list of topics you could create threads about in the VGC section of the forums that wouldn't result in it being locked, what would that list be? I've noticed that i only find myself looking through the "Ask a simple question, get a simple answer-VGC edition" thread, upcoming nationals threads and the community CAT then leaving if I don't find anything of interest. So in simple terms: What is an acceptable thread I can make on the VGC section of the forums without it being locked for being too... random?

Okay, I got another question.

While making my Pokemon.com account, I used all of the real info and everything, except that it never went through (it was before I was 13 years old). So I had to fake my age to being born in 1990 or something like that, and for some reason it worked. Great, now I have a fake birthday.

My question is, do I need to make a new account to match my current age to join VGC with that player ID thingy? Or can I just use the main account I'm using?

Also, I'm thinking about running a Tornadus in VGC with a Metagross. With the current team located on the bottom of page 130, is this a good team?

Yes, your account needs to be accurate - including date of birth.

There are big prizes on the line, and lots of legal paperwork if you win (Ask Cybertron - he has filled out plenty). It would be unlikely, but if you falsify information they could take the prizes away. Besides, you can get a new POP ID when you go to the event.

Stupid question (I'm sorry):

I wish to attend the VGC in Surrey, BC on April 15th. The registration demands that I have POP ID. How do I obtain said ID?

Thank you.

If they were done legally (i.e. breeded or caught in game), then yes, but I wouldn't want to be disqualified if they were cheat and I didn't notice.

To be safe, I'd only use Pokémon that come from known RNGers (which shouldn't be too hard to find, since from just the top few you already have the entire Pokédex several times over), and of course make sure you don't get the ribbon when you download them.

Cloned Pokémon have never been a problem in the past, and I doubt they would be now.
